When someone she loves is stabbed in the street by a masked assailant, Tsukiko Himura makes a vow to find who's responsible. Her search pulls her into a brewing conflict between two rival street gangs, the safety of the entire city hanging in the balance. This new found notoriety is a double edged sword however, as while investigating a new street gang known as Themis, Tsukiko unwittingly begins to unravel a large-scale conspiracy meant to end her work for good.
