Becoming a Saint by Touching Corpses

Chapter 76: Unveiling (Part 1)

Returning to the Extreme Fist Sect, martial arts training ground.

The instructor for today's class has changed, named Zhou Yang.

Like Chen Muju, he is also an inner disciple, around twenty-two or three years old, with a buzz cut, tall and strong, with eyes as fierce as a hawk.

Compared to the handsome and friendly Chen Muju, Zhou Yang is hot-tempered and prone to violent outbursts, making everyone quite afraid of him.

"Your punch is like a woman's, haven't you eaten?"

"Do you need me to teach you how to hold your horse stance? How does Chen Muju teach, is he sleeping all the time?"

"Damn it, how did a loser like you get in here?"

After teaching for a while, Zhou Yang lost his patience, "Alright, stop practicing, come over and spar. The loser stands post until tomorrow morning and doesn't eat."

Upon hearing this, everyone exchanged glances, not daring to speak up.

Lou Yi was also speechless.

Zhou Yang treated martial arts practice as a game, completely disregarding the lives of these unofficial disciples.

"You, you, come out."

Zhou Yang randomly picked two people, and the crowd cleared the space in the middle.

These two were disciples from the side courtyard, having learned martial arts for only a couple of months.

At first, they cautiously tested each other, until one landed a punch on the other, then both let loose, hitting each other wildly.

In the end, they were grabbing each other's necks, pushing against each other's chests, turning into a full-on Turtle Fist brawl.

When it ended, the loser lay on the ground unable to get up, while the winner was also bruised and battered.

Zhou Yang laughed heartily at the sight and pointed to another person, "You, come out."

The one picked was a plain-looking young man, Jin Feng, Lou Yi's former roommate.

His opponent was the most beautiful female disciple, Jia Hong.

Jia Hong wore a blue robe and had her long hair tied high like a man's, her flawless complexion showing a bit of heroism.

"Brother Jin, please." She made a beautiful opening gesture, catching the eyes of many men present.

"Please." Jin Feng responded somewhat dully.

The next moment, Jia Hong leapt forward like a leopard, forming a fist with her right hand to strike Jin Feng's chest.

Jin Feng instinctively crossed his arms to block.

But he didn't expect it was just a feint.

Her right fist suddenly retracted, and with a nimble twist of the waist and abdomen, she swiftly shifted to strike with her left elbow.

A 'thud' was heard.

Jin Feng clutched his stomach, kneeling halfway to the ground, his face in pain, making dry heaving sounds.

"Such skillful moves." Zhou Yang showed admiration, "Your punch flows smoothly and your movements connect seamlessly; you're not far from cracking as loud as firecrackers."

"Thank you for the compliment, Senior Brother Zhou," Jia Hong replied neither arrogantly nor humbly, then turned to Jin Feng with concern, "Brother Jin, are you alright? Would you like me to help you rest to the side?"

"How could I trouble you, Miss Jia?" Hearing Jia Hong say this, immediately a few male disciples jumped out, volunteering to help Jin Feng.

"Thank you all," Jia Hong remained polite, her voice as pleasant as a spring breeze.

Hearing this, Jin Feng's grievance in his heart wasn't so strong.

After Jia Hong, Zhou Yang selected Huang Longgang and another main courtyard disciple, muttering, "Hurry up, hurry up, I need to leave after this; I don't have time to waste with you."

The inner disciples' teaching time each day, according to the sect's rules, only needed to reach an hour, although Chen Muju often taught longer.

Unexpectedly, Huang Longgang didn't immediately enter the field but instead looked somewhere with a sinister smile, "I'll compete with this Liu Yi—Senior Brother Chen said he's much stronger than me."

With that, he started performing the Chain Fist in place.

Press, push, shake, swing.

Finally, a hook punch swung flexibly into the sky.

'Whoosh!'

A clear swooshing sound was heard, not far from the crisp firecracker sound, drawing exclamations from the gathered disciples.

"Oh, did Chen Muju really say that? Then I must take a look." Zhou Yang also showed interest.

'This is an opportunity for me to shine,' Lou Yi thought.

Having learned martial arts at the Extreme Fist Sect for over two weeks, it's time to show some skill.

He needed to speed up.

The sooner he learned the Breathing Technique and broke through, the sooner he could achieve becoming a Beast Hunter Guard and carry out his plan for energy and talent acquisition.

"Come on, let me see your skills, Liu Yi." Huang Longgang looked fiercely, eyes full of unrestrained malice at Lou Yi.

Lou Yi had refused to spar with him before, embarrassing him in front of others, which the Young Master of the Huang Family could not tolerate.

Today, he intended to pay him back double!

As Lou Yi was new here, with no friends in the Extreme Fist Sect, most people watched calmly.

Except for his former roommates like Jin Feng and He Yu, who showed some reluctance but didn't dare to intervene rashly.

"Why did you have to show off and offend people?" Niu Peng even grumbled, "Those who offended him before were either left with broken legs or arms, no way to get revenge, and soon had to leave the hall."

Knowing Huang Longgang's past behavior, everyone understood Lou Yi would likely follow in the footsteps of those before him, ending up miserably.

Yet Lou Yi remained calm, slowly walking opposite Huang Longgang, thinking about how many moves it would take to take him down.

But his composed demeanor angered Huang Longgang even more.

'You damn, what are you pretending for!'

Just as Huang Longgang was about to explode, a lazy voice intervened.

"I say, Senior Brother Zhou, isn't this a bit unfair?"

The crowd looked up to see a big-eyed man speak.

He had a broad chin, ordinary looks, holding a folding fan in a flamboyant manner, trying to look suave but appearing somewhat sleazy.

This was Zhan Weida, another well-off main courtyard disciple.

"Why?" Zhou Yang suddenly widened his eyes, cold light flashing.

"Huang Longgang has been learning for months, and Liu Yi just arrived not long ago..." Zhan Weida explained.

"In life-and-death struggles, does the enemy reason with you this much? Do they ask about your martial arts years?" Zhou Yang interrupted Zhan Weida unceremoniously, shouting, "Stop talking, start fighting!"

As soon as he finished speaking, Huang Longgang lunged at Lou Yi.

Midway, he had already deftly completed the Charging preparations of 'press', 'push', 'shake', and 'swing' in the Chain Fist technique.

Just two steps away from Lou Yi.

The final hook punch was aimed right at Lou Yi's seemingly unguarded chest.

'Whoosh!'

The swooshing sound was louder than during the demonstration, its power evident.

Huang Longgang's fist was getting closer to Lou Yi's chest, about to hit.

If this landed solidly, at least a few ribs would break, rendering martial arts training useless for over half a year, basically ending his martial arts hall life.

In the crowd.

Jin Feng and He Yu showed reluctance, Zhan Weida looked gloomy, Zhou Yang was amused, most others were indifferent.

'Snap!'

Just when everyone thought it was over, Huang Longgang's powerful punch was easily wrapped by another hand.

It was truly wrapped.

Huang Longgang's fist was effortlessly held by Lou Yi, like a little shark colliding into a whale's mouth, unable to move.

"Too slow, too light."

Lou Yi calmly commented, for some reason, everyone heard it clearly.

Next, they saw Huang Longgang's expression change, his facial muscles twisting.
