Witnessing how one of its fellow cows was cut down the second it turned around to charge towards her again, the magic earth cow lord froze for a second before letting out an enraged mooing sound that sounded more like some kind of primordial roar filled with unending killing intent.

But this made no difference to Scaly, as she casually used another water blade to cut down a second magic earth cow with similar ease. Proving to herself that her magic had indeed become far stronger after her evolution and the kill early wasn't just some coincidence of accidentally targeting an especially weakened earth magic cow.

MOOOOO-!

This kind of clear disregard completely enraged the magic earth cow lord, whose eyes had already turned blood red as it began recklessly charging towards Scaly at far greater speed than before. Wanting nothing more than to tear apart this winged lizard daring enough to kill its companions in front of it without giving it as much as a glance in the process.

Unfortunately for the magic earth cow lord-

Scaly had always kept an eye on it. Allowing her to evade the reckless charge in time by once again leaping into the air with the assistance of her wings-

However, different from before, this time around, the earth beneath her suddenly seemed to come alive as countless sharp earthen spikes suddenly launched out of the ground below her just a few centimeters before she landed on the ground.

Waaah!? It can summon earth spikes now?!

Catching her completely off guard as she attempted to flap her wings and get higher into the air to avoid the earthen spikes, something that was already too late, as she only barely managed to avoid a few of the more lethal earth spikes, while the rest managed to directly hit her.

Although most of the earth spikes ended up being blocked by her scales, one still managed to successfully pierce through her defense. Drawing blood as it embedded itself directly in her chest.

Painful as this sudden new accessory was, it didn't do that much damage and was more so just humiliating considering how she had essentially been played by this oversized dumpling that had already ended up accidentally colliding with two of its companions before being able to stop its reckless charge.

At the very least, she could soothe her own pride to some extent by reminding herself that she had no idea that the magic earth cow lord was skilled at earth magic beforehand and being caught off guard was understandable. Even if she understood deep down that she should have expected something like this from a monster with earth magic making out most of their name.

That aside, she no longer intended to test out her physical strength with this magic earth cow lord any longer and fully decided on testing out her magic instead. Now fully intend on ending this magic earth cow lord that had dared to ambush her.

Of course, it wasn't just because her pride had been somewhat hurt by being outmaneuvered by an oversized dumpling with legs, but also because the rest of the magic earth cows from the herd had begun to subtly surround her and seemed to get ready to use earth magic of their own to attack her from a distance.

Confident as she was in her own strength after her fifth evolution, she also clearly understood that she would stand little chance in the face of a hundred magic earth cows using earth magic to attack her at the same time. Especially after knowing that these earth spikes could pierce through her defenses.

Because of this, she intended to get rid of the magic earth cow lord before the situation got out of control and she was overwhelmed by the large number of magic earth cows.

As for just escaping by flying away? Hmph! She wasn't a coward! Now that she had officially become a dragon, though a bit on the smaller side, there was no way she could do something like that!

Filled with confidence as she thought this to herself, Scaly wasted no time, as she launched several water blades towards the magic earth cow lord already charging her once again. Eagerly keeping an eye on water blades as they reached the magic earth cow lord before cutting into it…

MOOOOO-!

And although far from as effective as they had been against the weaker magic earth cows, the water blades still carried with them more than enough power to cut deep into the thick skin of the magic earth cow lord, causing a painful mooing sound to emerge from the large monster before one of the water blades managed to cut into one of the front legs-

Bang~!

Something that caused the large monster to stumble and fall mid charge. Sliding face first towards Scaly before coming to a slow stop only a few centimeters from where she was standing. Blood oozing out of the large wounds that had been created by her water blades, as the magic earth cow lord barely raised its head to look up at her filled with fear before Scaly smiling brought down the final strike with a water magic enhanced dragon claw strike.

Ending the life of the magic earth cow lord before it had a chance to fight back, a simple yet awesome display of power and at the same time also a clear indication that her strength after her fifth evolution had entirely gone towards her magic.

As for the magic earth cows that had slowly begun to surround her…

M-Mooo…!

They all began to panic after seeing how their lord had been cut down so easily by what they perceived as nothing more than a slightly stronger lizard with wings. Fear taking hold as they all subtly began backing away scattering in all directions to escape from this terrifying monster that had so easily dealt with their lord.
