Seeing how Scaly was rushing towards it filled with killing intent, it didn't take a genius for the sorcerer snake to realize that it had been targeted, as it let out a loud hissing sound to inform the rest of the monsters before starting to move in the opposite direction of the approaching Scaly.

Knowing very well that it didn't stand a single chance against her sharp claws if she got close enough.

Unfortunately, it seemed like the rest of the monsters were a bit slower on the uptake compared to the sorcerer snake, as they only started moving after Scaly had already managed to cut her way through their encirclement and make a straight line towards the escaping sorcerer snake.

Soon enough forming a rather odd chasing scene, as Scaly chased after the escaping sorcerer snake, while around a dozen other monsters chased after her.

However, the chase didn't last for long due to the fact that the sorcerer snake was rather slow for its current level and was unable to outrun the well trained Scaly who had gained a lot of experience in regard to running fast during the past few days of being forced to run for her life from much stronger monsters and humans.

Not something she was proud of and would definitely take revenge for in the future, but at least it did end up helping her better utilize her strength better when it came running from someone- or in this case, chase after someone.

In the end, the sorcerer snake turned around just before she reached it and spewed out a large breath of fire towards her-
