Dylan was slightly startled seeing the target he had to save, as it seemed he knew them.
"Wait KATS, Nicholas Cooper? Nick? My former classmate?" Dylan asked in his head.
[That is correct, sir.]
"How could that be?" Dylan asked.
[This task is related to the chef ghost in the restaurant yesterday.]
"Oh... really?" Dylan asked.
[That is correct, sir.]
Finally, without another word, Dylan immediately ran into an empty, secluded field behind the construction site where he had parked his car. As soon as Dylan was inside and made sure no one was there,
"Okay, come here," Dylan said in his head.
Suddenly, Ellie, Maya, Lena, Amy, and Aaron appeared around Dylan, who was in the field right behind the construction site.
"Nick? Our friend?" Ellie asked Dylan.
"It seems so," Dylan replied.
"But why would he want to kill someone? What kind of trouble is he in?" Lena asked.
"I don't know, maybe we'll find the answer later," Dylan replied.
"So what's the plan?" Amy asked.
"Here's what we'll do," Dylan replied.
They stood in a circle and discussed seriously, then they all got into the car and left the construction site. Dylan continued to drive the car with instructions from Clara, who remained at home and used her hacking skill, acting as the operator for the teams.

Three hours later, in the City Hall lobby, a luxurious car stopped. A beautiful woman about 30 years old, with black hair, wearing a red party dress and her hair pinned up, stepped out with a man about 35 years old, wearing a black tuxedo suit and his hair neatly combed back.
They immediately entered the building to attend the party. They showed their invitations to a smartly dressed security guard who looked more like an agent than a security guard.
"Very well, please enter, Mr. Blake and Mrs. Sarah," the security guard said.
"Thank you," Blake replied with a smile.
With an arrogant look, Blake put his arm around Sarah's waist and swaggered into the building. Once they reached the ballroom, they were directed to their assigned table according to the invitation. Many people greeted Blake, as he seemed to have considerable influence in his field.
Two servers pulled out chairs at the table and showed Blake where to sit. Blake, who saw one of the servers staring intensely at him and apparently recognized him, offered a faint smile at that server—which only seemed to make the guy even more furious—then pulled out the chair next to him and motioned for his wife, Sarah, to sit first.
After Sarah sat down at the table, Blake took his seat, then they began talking with some of the guests also seated at the same table. Sarah kept glancing left and right, then occasionally tapped her fingers on the table, and her tapping was answered by Blake, who also tapped his fingers on the table, as if they were communicating using their finger taps like a code.
"Blake Scott?"
Blake turned around. He saw a middle-aged couple standing behind him, and his eyes immediately widened. He stood up, turned around, and smiled broadly.
"Wow... Uncle Mark and Aunt Viola, how are you?" Blake asked, extending his hand.
"Good, how about you? Business running smoothly?" Mark asked, shaking Blake's hand.
"Very smoothly, Uncle. Come, sit down. [Turns to Sarah] Sarah, it's Uncle Mark and Aunt Viola," Blake murmured.
Sarah stood up, then turned around. She immediately gave a faint smile and bowed slightly to greet Mark and Viola.
"Wow... you're pregnant?" Viola asked.
"Yes, Auntie, it's been three months," Sarah replied with a smile.
"Congratulations," Viola said.
Viola immediately stepped forward and hugged Sarah, who returned the embrace with her faint smile.
"I didn't know you were married, Blake," Mark said.
"Ah, yes, I only got married a month ago, but Sarah and I have been together since college," Blake replied.
Then Blake invited Mark and Viola to sit with them. They began talking about business and many other things. "Krek," a male server—who was the same one who had pulled out Blake's chair and was now glaring with intense murderous intent—finished placing food on a nearby table. He stood at the edge of the room, staring at Blake with sharp eyes. His face showed that he genuinely held such a grudge against Blake that he clenched both his fists tightly and hard until his knuckles turned white.
But before the server could act, a security guard who looked like an agent suddenly entered with five police officers. Naturally, all the guests and servers turned to look at the entrance, watching them walk forward, checking table after table. "Greek," Blake and Sarah stood up, and the attention of the police officers immediately turned to Blake and Sarah. Of course, Mark and Viola, sitting next to them, were shocked, but before they could move, "Blam,"
Blake and Sarah shot Mark and Viola in the head using pistols and smiled. Before the police could get close to the two of them, the entire room suddenly became extremely bright and simultaneously filled with smoke. The server, who was actually Nick, closed his eyes because the light was so blinding and covered his nose because of the smoke spreading throughout the room.
Some guests who weren't blinded by the light immediately ran out amidst the smoke. The entire room became panicked and filled with screams. After the blinding light disappeared and only smoke remained, two police officers approached the table and saw a card on the table that read,
"Job done... sign: Shadow Cat."
The two police officers then turned to see Mark and Viola, whose heads were slumped on the table, drenched in blood. They also didn't see Blake and Sarah anywhere. One police officer immediately contacted headquarters using his radio,
"Report! The murder suspect who killed Mr. Blake Scott at his residence has disappeared. The perpetrator is Shadow Cat, and there are two victims here. Requesting backup and an ambulance," the police officer said.
Not long after, "blaaar," a loud explosion was heard outside the city hall building, shaking the entire structure. The police immediately ran outside and headed toward the explosion. They saw Blake and Sarah's luxury car explode in the parking lot, simultaneously detonating the cars next to it, making the explosion massive. The police officer pressed his radio again,
"Also contact the fire department; there's been an explosion at City Hall," he said.
Meanwhile, Nick, leaning against the wall with a confused look because he didn't understand anything, started moving toward the table and took a knife out of his pocket, then placed it under the table. After that, "dling," a message came into his smartphone. He immediately looked at his smartphone and opened it. His eyes widened when he saw a photo of Blake tied to an office chair in his study at his house, with a bullet hole in his forehead, his face covered in blood, and no longer moving.
"Klotak," Nick dropped his smartphone in shock. He covered his mouth to stop himself from screaming. Tears started streaming down his face, and he seemed slightly relieved that he didn't have to kill someone to get his revenge.
"My brother... the man who took your restaurant... he's dead," he murmured in his heart, with tears running down his face.
"Dling," another message came in. Nick bent down to pick up his smartphone, and this time he held his phone with a stunned expression as he read the message.

Meanwhile, Blake and Sarah walked casually along the side of the road, then they entered the alley between two buildings, and when they came out again, they had changed into Dylan and Ellie walking arm-in-arm. At the end of the street, an SUV was parked.
They immediately walked to the car and got inside. Dylan, sitting in the front, turned to look at Amy, who was driving the car. After that, he looked back at Lena, Aaron, and Maya, who were looking through the files in their hands, wearing gloves.
"Okay, the restaurant ownership papers listed in the business permits and land agency database have been returned to the original owner, and since the original owner died, the restaurant is now inherited by your friend," Clara said in the heads of all of them, using her hacking skill.
"Sweet. We'll send the papers we have here to Mr. Robert so he can take care of it, since Blake illegally transferred the business permit and land ownership," Dylan replied.
"Got it. I'll send it to Mr. Robert tomorrow after school. Just forward your friend's phone number so he can deal directly with Mr. Robert," Aaron replied, gathering his files.
"Okay, I've sent it," Ellie replied.
"So that's how it is, huh? Nick's family was the original owner of the restaurant, and that Blake guy extorted them until the restaurant fell into his hands, and he also killed Nick's older brother. No wonder he wanted revenge," Maya said.
"Yeah... the important thing is the job's done, right? And thanks for taking out those people who claimed to be my parents. That was quite a coincidence, hehe," Lena said, handing her files to Ellie.
"Yep, no problem. Because they showed up, we changed the plan a little. We were actually going to catch Nick by baiting him with the guy named Blake, but it turns out those two people showed up, so we just took care of them too and leave Nick alone, hehe," Ellie replied.
"I'm driving now. We'll talk on the way," Amy replied, starting the car.
"Okay, how about we grab some food for Fiona and Iris at home first," Dylan suggested.
"Agreed," everyone replied in unison.
