The Rise of Quetzalcoatl

Chapter 351: God-Like Figure

"Woah, who do you think I am?" She smiled, slowly circling around me while her eyes crawled up and down my body, seemingly inspecting me. "Some kind of demon?"

"Are you god?" I asked the single most important question that had been lingering in my mind for a while now.

Her eyes widened, and her smile only stretched further as she finished circling around me, grabbing my hand and then squeezing it with the pressure of a thousand mountains.

It was going to break if she kept pressing so hard.

"Your mother is my servant… that is all I shall give you,"

"And how do you know of my mother? She is dead. Gone. How could she be a servant to a living being…?" I questioned the woman, but her smile told me everything I needed to know.

"Your mother wanted to live amongst mortals and as her benevolent master…." The woman slowly twirled around me, hanging her arm over my shoulder while bringing her lips close to my ears. "... I let her go. And foolishly, she fell in love with a mortal and foolishly mated until you were born… something that shouldn't exist,"

"*sigh*... And?"

"And… that means I have to kill you," The woman smiled, sending shivers down my spine before I could even twitch a muscle. "I'm just kidding… don't be so tense. She may have been a fool, but she's still my servant… and you are a demi-god whose powers have yet to awaken… but that's not why I'm so mad with you."

I could only breathe as the woman snapped her fingers, creating a chair out of thin air that appeared beneath her, allowing her to sit down on it while I was frozen and standing up.

"I'm mad with you because you shared such power with others. It may not have been intentional, but you abused the system, thus granting mortals the power to become demi-gods," She glared at me, and with this, I felt something shift in my mind like a set of cogs.

My muscles slowly began to relax, and I slowly cracked open my dry lips.

"Are you scared of something?" I almost scoffed at her, and as her eyes began to sink deeper into me, I began to gain a bit of confidence back. "Are you scared that we might become stronger than you all?"

She stayed silent, inspecting me and watching over me, but something was even stranger as a woman this powerful should have been able to kill me instantly.

"Is this system that I have… something that you envy… possibly fear? Hm?"

"*sigh*... I guess you could say that, but somebody like you doesn't understand the power that this system brings. It allows you to overthrow the gods and create your universe,"

"Then, who created it?"

"A friend of mine who I'm not as close to as before… and it's a shame that he decided to do this. Because that means you're going to be in pain. Lots and lots of pain,"

The woman almost looked sorrowful as she sat up from her chair, and I felt sweat begin to layer my back.

It was an instinctual fear that nearly brought me to my knees, so I resisted and turned in the other direction, quickly snapping out my wings and then beginning to fly away further and further and further until I could no longer see her.

"Sh-Shit… Why won't it work," I cursed the button on my glove as no matter how many times I pressed it, I wouldn't be sent back.

I continuously gazed at my surroundings, hoping and almost praying that I wouldn't be found, but under the monstrous and god-like gaze of this being, I was found not even a few seconds later.

"Did you really think you could escape me?" The woman appeared in front of me, a demonic webbed wing made from skin, and an angelic and fluffy, feathery wing flapped on each side of her body, allowing her to just float there almost effortlessly.

Her finger crossed my face as she slowly waved it downward, and just like that, gravity seemed to increase tenfold.

"Ack-"

The wind was knocked out of me, and I was sent tumbling down into the hard gray rock below, nearly snapping every bone in my body.

A shockwave of pain so great that it felt like my soul was being torn apart began to spread through every single cell in my body.

It hurt. It hurt so bad, but I just couldn't bring myself to scream… otherwise the woman crouching right over me would have slaughtered me right then and there.

"Good girl," She sadistically chuckled before rubbing her fingers over my eyes, causing my muscles to go limp. "Heal,"

And just like that, all of my broken bones, fractured bones, torn tendons, and stretched muscles were healed in an instant… and it was so fast that looking up at her almost made it seem like she was a god.

"Wait, are you-"

When I awoke, I found myself in a stone brick room, my wrists and ankles chained by metal so dark that it was like the endless space was confining me.

"You're awake. Let's go," A man suited up in some kind of medieval metal armor grabbed me, my limbs phasing through the chains, allowing him to drag me away through a long stone corridor where I got an unsettling feeling.

The creatures- no, things inside the rest of the cells were so beastly, inhumane, and otherworldly that I nearly threw up.

"W-Where are you taking me?" I questioned the knight, but I soon got an answer as I saw a glimpse of light bathe my face before I appeared at the top of what seemed to be a throne room, lying chained to the edge of an abyssal throne.

"Welcome to the Domain of the Gods, little girl. Now, stay quiet," A familiar face reached out her hand, lightly stroking my hair.

Is this… what? The domain of the gods?
