The Forsaken's Revenge

Chapter 357: Still Able to Stand Up!

Liu Changyun couldn't believe his eyes. Zhao Feng was getting back up? He had just used his full strength, yet this brat wasn't dead? What on earth is he made of?

In the surrounding stands, the Alliance Hierarchs from the various continents were utterly shocked. The reputation of the Thunder Fist was truly terrifying. Even they wouldn't have been able to take that punch head-on without moving. Yet this young man not only survived but had also managed to force himself back to his feet.

"Old fool," Zhao Feng sneered, a cruel smile playing on his lips. "You think someone like you is worthy of the War God's personal attention?"

He had barely finished speaking when a host of strange auras suddenly filled the air. Within a radius of several dozen feet, the air instantly grew still. Zhao Feng's body then became like a vortex, furiously absorbing the surrounding energies. At the same time, the aura emanating from him began to soar at a terrifying rate.

By the time it finally settled, all traces of injury on his body had vanished. He seemed hardly any weaker than Liu Changyun!

"You punk..." Liu Changyun's face was a mask of shock, his hands clenched into tight fists. He felt like he had been played for a fool. You dare use me to break through your bottleneck?

The other Alliance Hierarchs present were just as astounded. They had never dreamed that this kid would manage to break through to the Realm of Activated Qi right in the middle of a fight with Liu Changyun.

Once, long ago, similar individuals had appeared in the martial world. They were all monstrous talents who ultimately became true Great Grandmasters. They just never expected this young man to possess such terrifying potential.

"Hahaha..." Zhao Feng laughed coldly, stretching his body. "Speaking of which, I really have to thank you for this, old fool. If it weren't for you, I never would have been able to fully refine the medicinal power of the elixir inside me!"

Suddenly, an unimaginable aura erupted from him.

"Now that I've also reached this realm, death is your only way out!" As the words left his mouth, he instantly vanished.

By the time Liu Changyun registered what had happened, Zhao Feng had already appeared in front of him, smashing a fist straight down.

BANG!

Liu Changyun never expected Zhao Feng to strike so suddenly. He took the punch directly to the face and was sent flying. He carved an arc through the air before crashing heavily onto the ground, kicking up a massive cloud of dust. At that moment, the entire arena fell silent.

"You brat... you're courting death!" Liu Changyun climbed to his feet, his face livid with rage.

Although he had been caught by a surprise attack, he hadn't sustained any serious injuries. However, the fact that this kid had used him to achieve a breakthrough was the greatest humiliation he had ever suffered. If I can't utterly destroy him, how can I, Master Liu, ever show my face again?

"DIE!" Liu Changyun roared furiously and charged forward.

The two men locked in a ferocious struggle. Liu Changyun had been incredibly confident; after all, his opponent had only just broken through, and his power was surely unstable. He thought dealing with him would be easy, but he had miscalculated yet again. In this world, it was a classic case of the new generation sweeping away the old.

At first, Zhao Feng was indeed a bit awkward, but after a few exchanges with Liu Changyun, he grew increasingly proficient with his newfound abilities. After more than twenty rounds, he began to gain the upper hand, turning the tables and completely suppressing Liu Changyun.

THUD!

After nearly fifty moves, Liu Changyun suffered another heavy blow. He was sent flying, violently spitting out a mouthful of blood as his complexion turned deathly pale.

"This is bad! Alliance Hierarch Liu can't hold on much longer!"

"This kid is a monster! If we let him fully stabilize his power, I'm afraid none of us will be his match!"

"Should we make a move? To hell with the rules, we have to kill this guy!"

On the viewing platform, the faces of the other Alliance Hierarchs changed drastically as they exchanged glances. This Zhao Feng was simply too terrifying. If he belonged to the Alliance, it would be a monumental blessing. But if he couldn't be brought to their side, he would become a huge threat in the future. No matter what, a person like this could not be allowed to continue growing stronger.

"We can't hesitate any longer," Zhang Sheng said, his expression grim. "Headquarters sent us here to support the Jiangnan Alliance. If Alliance Hierarch Liu fails, none of us will be able to answer for it when we get back!"

"Enough talk. Let's do it!" Zhao Mang had already leaped into action, jumping down from the platform.

He descended like an eagle, landing with enough force to create a huge crater in the ground. Everyone was stunned. No one had expected Zhao Mang to intervene so directly.

But in the next instant, another figure appeared, moving even faster than Zhao Mang. His leg cut through the air like a sharp blade, lashing out at Zhao Feng as if to slice him in two.

"Even Zhao Mang has made a move!"

Zhao Feng dodged swiftly, and the three men were instantly embroiled in a chaotic battle. Liu Changyun, having recovered, immediately understood what the other two were thinking. Zhao Feng was too dangerous; he absolutely could not be allowed to grow. This was no longer about face or rules. As long as they could kill him, that was all that mattered.

And so, Liu Changyun rejoined the fight, surrounding Zhao Feng with the others.

"The people of the Alliance are shameless! Ganging up on him like this?" Gao Feng was furious beyond words, but seeing the scene before him, he knew he was helpless.

Those fighting on the stage were all in a higher realm than him. Even if he joined the fray, he'd be no help—in fact, he'd only hold Zhao Feng back.

Xu Tianlong and the others wore smug, cold smiles. This subordinate of Chen Zheng certainly has some skill. But so what? The foundation of the Alliance isn't something they can possibly imagine. Did they really think a single subordinate could turn the world upside down?

Meanwhile, on another part of the viewing platform, Wang Chang, the Alliance Hierarch of Shandong, watched with a flickering gaze, choosing not to act. Compared to Zhao Mang and Zhang Sheng, he cared far more about his own reputation and status. That was the very foundation of his standing, and he had to treat it as his highest priority.

Three against one was already unfair, not to mention that his peers were all vastly experienced. If word of this got out, it would be utterly disgraceful. He decided to just watch and see how things developed. If something unexpected happened, it wouldn't be too late to make his move then.
