03:00 AM, Ye Hao was escorted into the police station.

As he entered the station, Ye Hao distinctly felt several strong presences around him; however, their prowess was inferior to his. Ye Hao initially estimated they only reached the fifth stage of National Martial Arts.

But in the distance, from several other buildings, there were some subtle presences. They were lurking, so Ye Hao only barely sensed their presence.

"Why did you assault that female store clerk? What is your relationship with her?"

"No relationship. I just drank too much and didn't mean for this to happen. Officer, let me go. I'll pay you. I'll give you a thousand RMB."

"Get lost! You damn pig, don't think of bribing me with your Huaxia's deceitful antics. I won't take a penny from you; I absolutely want to personally throw beasts like you into the detention center or even prison," the interrogator said, growing more repulsed by Ye Hao's attempt to bribe him.

Finally, Ye Hao mentioned he wanted to rape the woman, thoroughly igniting the interrogator's fury, and had him immediately thrown into detention, the reason being simple: murder, rape, robbery, and undermining social stability.

Three days later, a court trial for Ye Hao was scheduled, with everything to be determined by the judge.

Six fifth-stage National Martial Arts self-defense team members stationed at the detention center saw Ye Hao being brought over and asked, "What's his deal?"

"Sir, this pig tried to kill a Sun Country woman, so the interrogator sent him to detention. He'll be tried in three days; this is the interrogation report." The person escorting Ye Hao handed over a report.

One of the self-defense team members glanced at the report, noticing Ye Hao had no martial arts prowess, thus allowing him in.

Ye Hao entered the detention center as he wished. If he had the eighth-generation system, he wouldn't have needed to go in to know whether Xu Shaoyuan was inside. But now that the system was offline, he had to find the answer by himself.

Once inside, Ye Hao was pushed into a solitary cell by the officer. "Enjoy these three days! After three days, you'll be in court. I truly hope they execute you soon, pig," the officer coldly said before leaving.

Ye Hao pretended to tremble in fear, but once the officer had left, a sharp gleam flashed in Ye Hao's eyes.

04:20 AM, most officers fell asleep, leaving no movement in the detention center.

Ye Hao pulled out a master key from his space and unlocked the cell door, stepping outside.

He briskly checked each room, searching for any occupants.

Despite his rounds, he found no sign of Xu Shaoyuan and the others, leaving Ye Hao to frown. Was the intel wrong, or had they been moved again?

Ye Hao took another loop around, yet still, no trace of Xu Shaoyuan and the others.

Ye Hao's face darkened, perhaps they had been moved again!

Intent on leaving, Ye Hao stepped forward but felt the sound beneath his foot differed from other areas.

Ye Hao crouched down and tapped his hand on the floor.

"Knock, knock, knock!"

The sound resembled knocking, prompting Ye Hao to strike harder.

"Knock, knock, knock!"

The area was hollow, not solid; Ye Hao wondered whether Xu Shaoyuan and the others were beneath him.

Thinking of this, Ye Hao examined the nearby gap and found a switch; if not looked at closely, it would've gone unnoticed.

Meanwhile, Xu Shaoyuan and others lay below weakly, sitting upon hearing the knocking but having no strength to speak.

Nonetheless, they didn't know who was knocking above.

Ye Hao fumbled for the switch, turned it, and the floor loosened. He opened the floor.

Below was a staircase. Xu Shaoyuan and the others saw the floorboard above open, but instead of self-defense team members coming down, a stranger descended.

Xu Shaoyuan saw the silhouette, tears brimming in his eyes. Although Ye Hao altered his face, the stature, demeanor, it was undoubtedly his elder brother Ye Hao.

Upon descending, Ye Hao rushed to open the cell gate for Xu Shaoyuan and the others.

"Boss…" Xu Shaoyuan called out weakly.

"Don't talk, who has energy?"

"I have some," Getai weakly replied, sitting up.

"Immediately wear my clothes, then pretend to sleep in detention room 202, and close this floor," Ye Hao said, handing his clothes over. Then he tapped some points on Getai and fed him a stimulant; a development by his family's and Dongfang Jiajia's company, of which Ye Hao took only a few dozen pills.

Getai swallowed and quickly asked, "Who are you?"

"Cut the chatter, quickly change out of your clothes and wear mine," Ye Hao said, having no time for lengthy explanations—it was already 4:40 AM, restoring Xu Shaoyuan and the others might take two or three hours.

Xu Shaoyuan signaled Getai to comply.

Getai struggled to stand, removing his clothes and putting on Ye Hao's.

Ye Hao switched to Getai's clothes.

Getai essentially took Ye Hao's place, while Ye Hao took Getai's, yet Ye Hao had the strength to empower Xu Shaoyuan and the others.

Getai went out, closed the floor, and feigned sleep in the cell Ye Hao indicated, preventing the self-defense and police teams' attention.

Indeed, roughly ten minutes after Getai's exit, two self-defense team members came in to survey the area.

Seeing Xu Shaoyuan's group of eighteen lying on the lower floor satisfied them, prompting them to leave.

Only after they departed did Ye Hao say, "Did they tamper with your bodies?"

"Yes, boss, how did you come?" Xu Shaoyuan asked weakly.

"Don't ask meaningless questions now," Ye Hao glared, replying.

Then, using Inner Breath, Ye Hao began purifying the medication within their bodies.

By the time Ye Hao finished purifying their system, it was 6:30 AM, with daylight outside.

Ye Hao, exhausted, consumed two stimulants.

"Boss, are you okay?" Xu Shaoyuan asked nervously.

"I'm fine, no time for idle talk now," Ye Hao replied, pulling out a map and earpiece from his space and handing it to Xu Shaoyuan. "Put it on, Long and I will cover you outside soon."
