My Primordial Demon System

Chapter 84: Lady Elena

Silva got up from the bed and walked up to her from behind, he wrapped his hands around her. Ella was frozen in place as he hugged her, tears in her eyes.

"It's fine, sis," he whispered. She wanted to argue, but he repeated, "it's fine."

She took a deep breath and let go for now, she knew deep in her heart that there was no stopping her brother, especially after what happened tonight.

Knowing that a demon wanted her, she was certain that he would do anything to ensure he could get close to them and stop them before reaching her.

And that made her heart heavy, thinking about the fact that her brother was about to be at the center of more trouble.

Yet deep in her heart, she wanted to understand what happened to her parents, their real truth, and what the demons wanted with her. The only person she could trust to help her unravel that was her brother, so she had to believe in him.

Elena saw that the air was too tense here, so she decided to leave, but before she left, she stopped at the door, turned around, and looked at Silva.

"Head over tomorrow, I'm sure you are already healed."

"What the hell do—"

"I'll be there," Silva said, cutting Ella short.

Elena nodded and walked out with Lily.

"What the hell do you mean you are fine?" Ella turned around and asked, "you almost died," she said.

"Demons possess healing, sis, I'm fine," he said, reassuring her. She calmed down after a bit and went to sit at the edge of the bed.

Silva finally walked to Peter, "I guess I owe you an explanation of what is going on," he said.

"Yeah, you definitely do," Peter said.

Silva nodded and started explaining, he told Peter everything that had happened up until now, but he refused to leak anything concerning the system. He was very careful to trim that information and ensure that he didn't spill.

He didn't know why, but he felt the system should remain a secret for only him, for now that is. He knew that Peter wanted him to tell everything, but he couldn't, not yet, as even he didn't understand what was going on.

Peter listened to everything and his eyes got wider with every moment that passed, he could barely believe what he was hearing.

But he knew it wasn't a lie as he had witnessed everything firsthand, he saw what they went through against the demon and he even had to fight alongside them.

He had also known Silva for so long, there was absolutely no reason for Silva to lie to him.

"I just wished you could have told me sooner," Peter said.

"I'm sorry bro, I couldn't even tell anyone, because I didn't even know what was happening myself," Silva said.

"I knew something was up with you when you vanished at night that day I slept over," Peter said.

"Wait, what?" Silva asked.

"Oh yeah, you don't know, I saw you when you walked into what looked like a fate right in your room, I just didn't want to talk about it," Peter said with a smile.

"Arghhh, screw you dude, so you've already been noticing stuff about me before, why didn't you say anything?" Silva asked.

"Well, I took it that whatever you wanted to share, you would, I didn't need to pressure you into telling me anything," Peter said.

"Well, I guess it's fine now, and since you know about it now, I'll be needing your help, especially with Ella," Silva said.

"There is little a low rank like me can do bro," Peter said.

"Don't worry about it, I'll provide you everything that can possibly be needed to protect her. After my talk with Elena tomorrow, we'll be moving out of the house, so I'm leaving that job to you.

Get us a car and a house somewhere good and high security, and when I say high security, I mean high," Silva said and pulled out his card.

"There should be roughly more than fifty million inside there, use it to get whatever is needed." He said it casually. Ella and Peter looked at him with wide eyes.

"Fifty what?" They asked in shock.

"Oh, yeah sorry, I forgot to inform you that the core I got from the gate I destroyed sold for over fifty million," he said, scratching the back of his head.

"What? How do you forget something like that?" Ella said.

"Well with everything that was going on, it was really easy to forget," he argued.

"Alright bro, I'll get on it right away," Peter said.

"Thanks bro," Silva said. Peter raised his hands for Silva to dap him up, but instead, Silva went in for a hug which stunned Peter.

"You are a real friend, bro," Silva said.

The next day came faster than expected, Silva was discharged, so he headed for Elena. The entire city was a bit quiet after the last incident, and though there were cars on the road, it wasn't much.

The city was already working on fixing everything, working overtime to ensure that the city was back to normalcy.

Security guards with high-powered weapons walked the streets, ensuring that no one used the chaos to commit any crimes.

As Silva sat inside the taxi, he began to wonder what sort of thing the cult did to be able to summon all those circles and if it was them, why?

What did they seek to gain from all that? He couldn't get the answers, but he had a feeling that the attack of the demon, the opening of gates, they were somehow connected with each other, he just couldn't prove it yet.

He arrived at the building and went in, his face was already well known here, so he was allowed to go in. They informed him that Elena was on the training floor, so he went there.

Getting to the training room, he saw Elena there, training behind the glass, dodging the blasts like before, but then she stopped. She looked at the glass, signaling him to come inside.

"Is the glass two-way see-through?" he wondered. He walked into the room and looked at the glass, it was a one-way glass, which meant she shouldn't be able to see him.

"Silva," she called out.

"Miss Elena,"

"I think we have been through enough at this point for you to forget honorifics," she said, "and besides, I'm not that good," she said.

"Uhm, okay lady Elena," he responded and she immediately pouted.

"I said drop the honorifics," she said sternly.

"I'm sorry, it's not that easy," he replied.

"Tsk, then how about this, a duel. If you can last five minutes against me, you can keep calling me that, but if not, then you must stop," she said.

'Why do I feel like she is baiting me into this,' Silva thought.

"So? Are you up for it?" she asked.

"Fine," Silva said and put on his gauntlets, but she noticed he wasn't wearing a spatial ring. It made her raise her brow, but she didn't say anything more. She gripped her training sword and got a little bit far from him.

"Since I am trying to win, I'll not be holding back," she said.

"I wouldn't want you to," he replied.

A calm smile formed on her lips.

Boom.

She shot forward like a rocket.

'She's fast.'

His eyes focused on her sword, she slashed, he raised to block immediately.

Bam!

He was immediately pushed back a few meters, 'and strong.' He looked up and saw her coming again.

She thrust her sword and he parried it, he saw an opening and immediately took it, throwing a punch.

"Predictable," she said, before pushing closer, then stepping to the side and dodging the attack. She grabbed him with one hand and flung him over her shoulder and into the ground.

Silva bounced off the metal floor hard, he couldn't believe how easily he was used as a ragdoll.

"You are pretty strong, but you lack technique," she said. Silva got up, his eyes went cold and serious, she saw that and smiled.

He dashed forward, coming in with a punch. She dodged the first and the second, then retreated a few steps, and in that moment, she watched closely for what would come next.

She saw the muscles tensing, she knew it was the right hand again. She pushed in close, before the arm could lash out, she grabbed it with one hand and pulled him, then she slashed.

Silva pulled his entire body back and dodged the sword, he spun and got into his fighting stance.

The two stood in a stance, their eyes locked on each other, each of them with a smile on their face.

"Seems I can't hold back even a little around you Lady Elena, I'll give it my absolute best now, so get ready for it," he said.
