The next day, Tyler woke up feeling a lot better than he did the night before. After speaking with Adi Hutter, he decided that wa happened with the news headline and the way it was surprisingly being blown out of proportion was a necessary evil for him to get pushed into the first team squad.

The unlikely series of events made him to think about his system and the mission it gave him as well as its promised rewards. He knew there was a good chance that it was just a coincidence, but a small part of him couldn't help but wonder whether the series of events were orchestrated by his system.

It wasn't a far fetched assumption, as his system could directly affect things like his stats and whatnot. What exactly stopped it from pulling the strings behind the scenes in situations like this.

After giving it some more thoughts, Tyler discarded his suspicion. He realized that what he thought was too far fetched.

The next day was a Wednesday and it was when the senior team would be playing. Due to that, Tyler didn't have to turn in to training but he went to he training ground anyways so that he could get some light work in.

Another reason why he went to the training ground was so that he could post a few pictures of him training and gain some positive PR. He figured that everything that happened made him quite popular so he thought it would be a good thing if he could capitalize on it.

He opened up an official Instagram and Twitter accounts as he had been operating from anonymous ones previously, and then he took a picture of his training bag before going to training.

When he got to the Monaco Performance Center, he had the staffs video him doing a few warm-up drills as well as some sooting drills, and then he started training himself, using the resources provided to him to the best of his abilities.

A couple of hours later, he went back into the locker room, sweaty and dirty, and not forgetting to take a picture of his current state before going into the shower and cleaning himself. As he walked out, he passed a familiar restaurant and after a slight internal battle, he decided not to get a meal and went back to his apartment.

Lucky for him, Tony and Enzo had already stocked the refrigerator quite a bit so there was no need for him to order something.

"Man I can't live like this". Tyler muttered as he took a player of left over rice and placed it inside the microwave. "I need to learn how to cook".

After he finished warming up the rice, Tyler poured it into a plate and then took it to his room. He pulled out his phone and started going through the many pictures and videos he had taken throughout the day.

Before he knew what happened, thirty minutes passed. He had picked his ten favorite pictures and videos from the many he had taken on his phone and posted them on his Instagram and Twitter pages. After he posted the videos, he put on a pair of comfortable clothes and drifted off to sleep.

The next couple of days passed peacefully for Tyler. After he'd posted the video, he thought he'd fall asleep and wake up to a huge number of engagements, comments and whatnot like he saw in the movies. Reality happened to me much more unkind to him. He had gotten some engagements and follows, but they were nowhere near as much as he'd been anticipating when he posted the video online.

On Instagram he currently had close to a thousand followers and a few hundred likes while on Twitter, he was worse off. He only had six hundred followers and his posts didn't even manage to get through the one hundred like mark.

"Fuck". Tyler muttered under his breath as he checked his phone for the upteenth time. He was inside the first team locker room in the Monaco performance center and was getting increasingly frustrated due to the slow progression of his social media numbers.

"What's up with you?" Minamino asked as he changed into his training wear. "You've been staring at your phone since you got here and every time you look back up, you look like you want to kill someone".

Tyler chuckled at his older teammate's surprisingly accurate assessments of his thoughts when he looked back up from his glances at his phones.

"I decided to try social media after the whole headlines thing". Tyler shook his head as he tossed his phone back into his bag. "I thought I could make use of the PR from this whole headline incident but growing my following hasn't been as easy as I thought it'd be".

George laughed and slumped on the chair beside Tyler. "If you needed followers all you need to do is take a picture of one of the more popular players and post them on your Instagram story or something, and then you beg them to repost it tag you as well".

"Beg them?" Tyler raised a brow.

"You don't have to beg". Minamino said as he walked out of the room.

"Why'd you all make me beg then?" George asked, walking after the Monaco winger.

"Because you were a rude little shit". Minamino said before running away from the locker room before George could get to him.

Tyler burst into laughter when he heard what Minamino said.

"That fucking bastard". George muttered as he walked out of the locker room beside Tyler.

Tiago couldn't make it to training because he was recovering from a cold. Tyler had called earlier and after making sure that it wasn't anything serious, he didn't stress much about it.

Training that day was more tactical than physical. Monaco had a home match the next day against Auxerre so Adi Hutter didnt want to burn his players out.

First, they watched clips highlighted clips of Auxerre matches whereby Adi Hutter pointed bad habits that he had noticed from the Auxerre players as well as weaknesses in their build up and defense patterns that he wanted his players to exploit.

After that, they worked on positioning. The coaches used the squad to stimulate in game scenarios to help with the decision making processes of the team.

From there, Adi Hutter decided to have a bit of fun with the squad and they decided to have a penalty contest between the forwards and the goalkeepers.

Tyler did very well and almost made it to the final round but his shot hit the frame of the goal and he was knocked out. At the end of the day, it was Aliouche that ended up winning.

After the training session, Tyler walked back to his apartment. He was a bit tempted to go and visit Jasmine in her mom's restaurant but he decided to wait until the next day to see her, so that he would ge properly excited to go on their date.

He went back to his apartment after stopping in the super market to buy a few raw ingredients. He has planned to watch a few YouTube cooking tutorials. The previous night, he had nothing but chicken soup available to eat and he was quite hungry.

When he got back to his apartment, he ordered some food, ate, the freshened up then he went into the kitchen to experiment with the YouTube videos that he watched.

In the end, he realized that those "quick and easy" ten minute recipes were in fact not easy and they took a lot more than ten minutes to fully prepare. And even after all that he had gone through, the food that he prepared didn't come out well.

After he finished cooking, he went back into his room and talked with Jasmine for a while. Even if he didn't want to see her, they still needed to agree on a place to meet before they would head down to the stadium for their date.

After a bit of back and forth, they agreed that they would meet in front of Jasmine's mum's restaurant and from there they would walk with to Monaco's home stadium which wasn't very far away. After that agreement, Tyler talked with her for a little while before falling asleep.

The next morning, Tyler woke up full of excitement. He put on his clothes very quickly and then he walked down to Jasmine mum's restaurant. As soon as he walked inside, he found her waiting. She was sat on one of the tables there and as soon as he saw her, a sigh escaped his lips.

She looked quite beautiful. Very very beautiful. Tyler smiled as he walked to her.
