Red Skull Tribe, the largest and the strongest tribe in the entire island.
It was the only tribe that could easily exert it's dominance over the others around it and this was possible only thanks to one single man.
Ruthless Tuko, the chief of the Red Skull tribe.
He sat on a large throne that once a huge boulder. It was now a beautiful throne with various rare gems embedded on it. Tuko silently watched the people below him with a calm gaze as he drank a red liquid from a skull that looked like it belonged to an animal.
Lukas was absolutely shocked to see such a huge market. There were people selling various dried and preserved meat, oils, medicines, fish, salt and much much more. Most of them had their wares displayed on a large cloth or hide while some had proper wooden tables.
He couldn't help but looked around in excitement like a child while Rena and the others walked with him like body guards. Nina was right beside him like always and as he kept looking around he couldn't help but stop when he saw a group selling weapons that were made of metals.
Until now, he had seen stalls that sold weapons made of bone, stone and even wood. It was very rare to find weapons made out of metal and even if he found one, it was mostly something very small such as the tip of a wooden spear being coated with iron.
Now there was a stall that had proper steel machetes, daggers, arrow heads and even utensils. Before anyone could stop him, he had already appeared in front of the stall.
A curly haired child that was already looking at the wares couldn't help but take a step sideways.
'This man looks weird… a foreigner?' with a face filled with shock, he glanced at the great Ruthless Tuco, the chief of his tribe. Seeing that the chief wasn't taking any action, the child stopped worrying.
Lukas barely paid any attention to the kid beside him as he focused solely on the weapons.
"How much is–"
"Heeyyy you're such a cutie! Would you like to come with me?"
His words were cut off by a tall guy who had just pushed himself into the group as he looked at Nina.
Lukas turned to see a man who didn't look like he was from around here. And unlike Lukas who had put in some work to get a tan, this man was as fair as one could get. His hair was silky and soft as it gently moved in the breeze.
When he heard the words for the first time, Lukas was expecting an extremely handsome guy but all he could see was a pig's head attached to a lean and tall human body.
Seeing Nina take a step back, the guy took a step forward as he barely paid any attention to Rena and the others.
"Aww, are you scared? I like it when girls act so cute and helpless heheh." he chuckled as he shook his head gently, "With my one thrust system, no girl can run from me once she gets a taste of my thi-."
His palm rose to his face as he caught Lukas's punch, "Hey kid, I'm talking to this chick here so mind your own damn business. I'm the protagonist of this era."
'….' Lukas was filled with disbelief as he stared at his fist that was blocked without any effort, 'He's not only delusional but he's also strong to boot. On top of that… he's a transmigrator like me and he doesn't even care about keeping it a secret.'
Facing a man who barely followed his line of logic, Lukas felt helpless as he watched the guy raise his hand to touch his sister.
"Rena." Lukas said, his voice almost cracking as he grabbed Nina and pulled her behind him, only to see Rena blushing as she stood there like a high school girl who just got a compliment from her crush.
Luckily, a hand appeared to stop the self acclaimed protagonist. Lukas looked up to see that it was the masked shop keeper who was selling the metal weapons.
"Oy the prince won't like it when he hears that you tried to stop me." the pig faced 'protagonist' said, but the shopkeeper shrugged, "He won't be able to stay mad at me for too long if you're dead. First you tried going for my wife and now you go for my sister."
"HUH??! Who's your sister asshole? Nina's MY sister and the last time I remembered, we were the only two kids to my parents."
The masked shopkeeper turned to look at Lukas and shook his head, "I'll explain later and… I'll also give you multiple weapons and items for free if you want. Of course, this is on the condition that you can kill this perverted dog. I'll give you armor and weapons."
"Isn't fighting illegal here?"
"It is, but not if you have the permission of Tuco. If you agree, I'll set it up for you and if you win… I'll give you an offer that you'll not be able to reject."
'Another offer…. oh well, the faster I take care of this so-called protagonist, I'll be able to sleep better at night.' he thought and took a deep breath as he nodded, 'Right, this is not my first kill.'
"I'll do it."
The shopkeeper nodded in response and glanced at the 'protagonist' whose lips seemed to be sealed shut. Then, he looked up at Tuko who was sitting on a throne atop a cleanly cut Red Giant tree.
"Great Tribal Chief Tuco, I request you to witness a fight to death between these two. On my left is the Chief of the Wise Hawk tribe and on my right, is…" he said as he looked at Lukas.
"Shaman of the Black Boar tribe."
Tuco's uninterested demeanour suddenly changed when he heard the word shaman and glanced at Keith.
"Shaman… Do you really wish to fight him directly? Losing a shaman will be a huge loss not just for your tribe, but for everyone here."
Lukas looked up as he recalled everything he had read about Tuco, "Great Tribal Chief Tuco… if a man threatens to steal all your wives, would you sit back and watch him silently? Or will you wish to crush his dog like skull for even thinking such things?"
