Atop Wildman Mountain, Grandmaster Ha Ha sat cross-legged within the azure fire and yellow clouds, surrounded by thousands of purple Fire Dragons twisting and turning, their fierce claws flashing, exuding an intense evil Qi, and spewing myriad demonic flames.

Qi Shuming kept trying to drive him away in order to seize the position of Central Palace, but had never succeeded.

The other five Dhama bodies, formed by non-Divine Transformation Qi and also hundreds of feet tall like Golden Buddhas, were each blocking the five gates of the array, relentlessly attacking.

His eighteen disciples, the eighteen Arhats, each held a Magical Treasure and employed one of eighteen different spells to form a grand array.

These eighteen Arhats also had several hundred years of Dao Level. Limited by their root bone qualifications and comprehension, they couldn't cultivate all disciplines to Great Success like Grandmaster Ha Ha but could only master one spell each from Grandmaster Ha Ha.

Even so, mastering a single spell to Great Success was enough to terrify the entire world.

They formed the Eighteen Arhats Array, and once trapped inside it, not even a true Heavenly Immortal could escape but only be subject to their attacks.

Xuanzhenzi was also of extraordinary insight, recognizing their prowess, and knowing the crucial importance of the eastern Annihilation Gate he established, thus he always sat at the gate, duelling them from across the entrance.

The eighteen individuals waved their Magical Treasures, unleashing a massive barrage of Red Flames Yellow Sand, Green Thunder and Purple Lightning, Black Evil Blue Gang, White Frost Green Clouds... all pouring chaotically into the gate.

Xuanzhenzi continually urged the Pure Yang Treasure Pearl above his head, which spouted torrents of Taiyin Pure Yang Immortal Fire from the two doors of the array, both sides fiercely bombarding each other.

If Qi Shuming could seize the Central Palace and successfully lift the central Illusion Gate, then the Liangyi Six Harmonies Microdust Formation would be completely established, and Grandmaster Ha Ha and all his disciples would be encompassed within the range of the Immortal Array.

Conversely, if the eighteen Arhats could breach the eastern Annihilation Gate, the array would be utterly shattered, and the Emei Sect would face utter defeat.

Both sides went all out, using every trick in their arsenal in their fierce and ferocious attacks.

As the duel escalated to a critical point, suddenly under the vault of heaven, a colossal creature appeared, displaying only a shadow, its true form unclear.

From its outline, it resembled a bird, with an east-west wingspan of thirty thousand zhang and twenty thousand zhang from north to south. It seemed to possess not just one pair of wings but thousands upon thousands, layered and stacked.

From some parts, many tendrils grew, constantly swaying left to right, at least several tens of thousands in number, each long and thin, spreading like a massive net eclipsing the sky.

Originally, the sky was dominated by the Twelve Supreme Heaven Devine Slaughter duelling with the Taiyin Pure Yang Immortal Fire, where scattered and diffused various types of flames and evil Qi were everywhere.

As this creature appeared, clouds of darkness instantly gathered in the sky, casting a shadow over everyone's heart.

Everyone looked up, even Qi Shuming was wondering, "What in the world is this creature?"

The only one who knew what was happening was Grandmaster Ha Ha. Now that these creatures had emerged, he could only resort to casting spells to borrow their strength.

Grandmaster Ha Ha clasped his hands in front of his chest, chanting a long spell at a rapid pace, then spitting blood onto his palm and loudly summoning, calling the creature Netherworld Phoenix, ordering it to quickly descend and merge with him.

Yet, this was not the most terrifying part. The ghastly wind seemed to blow directly into people's hearts, causing their inner worlds to collapse and disperse, leaving everyone with a sense of apocalyptic doom as if "the sky is falling" and "the world is in ruins."

While Grandmaster Ha Ha and the "Netherworld Phoenix" struggled, a giant whale appeared in the sky.

This whale was also tens of thousands of zhang in length; its initial outline seemed normal except for many "fur-like" extensions on its body surface.

As it shifted to the east and descended, it became clear that those "furs" were human arms, the longer ones measuring over a dozen zhang, and the shorter ones merely about a meter.
