The Ancestor of All Demons

Chapter 552: 450 Grandmaster Ha Ha Breaks Through the Microcosm

Grandmaster Ha Ha panicked upon seeing the Emei Sect set up the Liangyi Six Harmonies Micro Dust Formation, convinced that the enemy intended to annihilate him and all his disciples!

The old monster deployed his Divine Splitting, spreading his hands apart, first lifting a mountain behind Wildman Mountain to reveal a pitch-black cavern filled with Evil Fire below.

The Emei disciples were still defending with all their might using various Spells and Magical Treasures. He enveloped them in a mass of Demon Fire Black Clouds and pressed down from the sky, thrusting them into the cavern, then covered the mountain back over to suppress it.

In the process of doing these things, he seized the Central Palace, first transforming his Lifebound Dharma Body into a towering Golden Buddha, sitting squarely at the center of the Liangyi Dust Formation.

Grandmaster Ha Ha, an unparalleled expert among the heterodox factions, realized that although the true key to breaking the formation was the East, the deadliest and most destructive part was the center.

He directly occupied the Central Palace, preventing the Illusion Gate from being established.

Qi Shuming flew toward the center, with the Pure Yang Treasure Pearl and two flag doors rising above his head. But Grandmaster Ha Ha had already occupied this place. He pushed forward with both palms, each bursting forth five hundred Devil Flame Fire Dragons, madly lunging at Qi Shuming with bared fangs and claws.

The Fire Dragons opened their mouths, spurting out Yin Thunder condensed from Evil Qi, powerful enough to explode a small mountain with each. Thousands of dragons spat out in quick succession, peppering Qi Shuming with hail-like fury.

Seeing this, Qi Shuming made a Sword technique with his hands and cast the Taiqing Mysterious Sect's Invisible Sword Energy, conjuring countless invisible sword energies from thin air which each hit a Thunder Pearl, detonating it.

Millions of Yin Thunders exploded at once, turning the space within a hundred miles of the Central area into chaotic turmoil. The powerful shock waves spread outward, forming terrifying blasts that flattened the peaks of several tall mountains hundreds of miles away!

Grandmaster Ha Ha aimed to break the Liangyi Dust Formation by occupying the Central Palace to stop Qi Shuming and prevent the mightiest Illusion Gate from arising. At the same time, he split into five incarnations, each a hundred feet tall Golden Buddhas, appearing in front of the other five gates, each casting spells and attacking the other five practitioners.

Xuan Zhenzi, the Ascetic Monk, Xun Lanyin, Bai Guyi, and Master Can Xia each faced a Golden Buddha Incarnation, causing them all some anxiety.

Grandmaster Ha Ha had risen to notoriety among the southwestern demons a thousand years ago, but he always took cautious and sometimes sneaky actions, rarely making a move himself. He would let his disciples take the lead, providing support and bolstering them with spells from the shadows, only engaging in battle if it seemed favourable, ready to abandon his disciples if defeat loomed. This made him seldom clash directly with formidable experts.

As a result, after Master Changmei rose to fame by vanquishing masses of demons with his sword, shaking the world with his might, Grandmaster Ha Ha receded even further into obscurity. His reclusiveness deepened after entering the rigid meditative state, never showing his face again. Many newly initiated practitioners in the heterodox factions didn't even know such an old monster existed, leading many to underestimate him.

Yet, Grandmaster Ha Ha had been around even before Master Changmei, a figure of the past to people like Qi Shuming. To them, the old monster's most notable feat was defeating Dust Annihilator after a prearranged three-day and three-night fight where the victor became the master. Later, he came to establish himself in Emei where he got hit by a Zen Staff from Bai Mei Zen Master and fled.

Although everyone knew he was formidable, they couldn't help but underrate him subconsciously. Now facing him directly, they realized just how truly powerful he was!

Among the five facing him, Master Can Xia had the weakest Mana. Grandmaster Ha Ha's Hundred Feet Dharma Body raised a Buddha Palm ten yards high, gleaming with golden light wrapped in green flames, pressing down on Master Can Xia with the force of Mount Taishan.

Master Can Xia struggled to defend with any Spell and could only sit within the gate, merging his Primordial Spirit with the Pure Yang Treasure Pearl above his head, releasing vast amounts of Pure Yang Immortal Fire from within the formation to counter it.

Shi Feiyang, observing from below, silently praised: Grandmaster Ha Ha is truly formidable! With no need for any Magical Treasures and just relying on his Mana, he can suppress the six Emei Sect experts simultaneously. This is the real power of a great heterodox master!

And Grandmaster Ha Ha's insight was also admirable, spotting the key to the Liangyi Dust Formation at a glance and pre-emptively seizing the Central Palace to prevent the formation from being fully deployed.

Next, if Grandmaster Ha Ha were more dominant, sending his incarnations into the five gates to seize the Treasure Beads, the Liangyi Dust Formation would be broken, although he probably wouldn't dare.

In fact, he didn't need to break it entirely. The Annihilation Gate in the extreme East was the formation's Central hub, guarded by Xuan Zhenzi aside from Qi Shuming. If that gate could be breached, the entire formation would fall apart, though it was uncertain whether the old monster had realized this.

After watching for a while, Shi Feiyang saw six Hundred Feet Dharma Bodies of Golden Buddhas seated amidst Black Cloud Green Fire, surrounded by circling Fire Dragons and white flames scattered. The thunderous roars were continuous and shockingly intense, rattling both spirit and flesh.

Shi Feiyang surmised both sides were extremely anxious at this point since a delay would draw more and more enemies. Rivals would be alerted, coming in waves without end.

However, their arrivals would be staggered, creating risks of annihilation for both sides.

The situation was now set; it was just a matter of waiting for the Taiyin Hunyuan Ancestor to make an appearance.

Suddenly, Grandmaster Ha Ha sent a mental command to his eighteen Arhats beneath him, directing them to ascend and break the formation.

After battling for so long, Grandmaster Ha Ha had deciphered even more variations of the Liangyi Dust Formation.

He ordered all eighteen Arhats to go to the Annihilation Gate in the East to aid his incarnation in combatting Xuan Zhenzi. As long as this spot could be breached, the Liangyi Dust Formation would be thoroughly defeated!

The eighteen Arhats obeyed the order, ascending into the sky and heading to the Eastern Annihilation Gate. Each shone with golden light as if cast from pure gold.

Each of them held a Magical Treasure in hand, including a Bowl, a Treasure Bead, a Zen Staff, a Precepts Blade, Golden Rings, and more...

They each cast their Spells and formed an arrangement, joining Grandmaster Ha Ha's Golden Buddha Body in a fierce attack on the Annihilation Gate.

Each of the eighteen Arhats, alone, was a first-class expert capable of founding a sect and becoming a Sect Hierarch. Although they were slightly inferior to the likes of Xuanyuan Dharma King's four main disciples and the Green Robe Ancestor or Poison Dragon Venerable, they far surpassed others like the White Bone God and Netherworld Saint Xu Wan.

Eighteen people joined forces, and their coordination with each other amplified their collective strength to surpass the sum of their individual mana!

Xuan Zhenzi was originally the most formidable among the three elders and two immortals; even now, in a simple contest of mana, he could outclass Qi Shuming. However, no matter how fierce he was, he couldn't withstand the siege of so many experts and could only rely on the array to desperately hold on.

Shi Feiyang, watching from below, was dissatisfied. If the Emei Sect were to be dealt with so easily, there would be no chance of acquiring the Xuanyuan Nine Swords, and the Taiyin Hunyuan Ancestor would not appear.

How had the Emei Sect become so weak that they couldn't even eliminate Grandmaster Ha Ha!

Shi Feiyang decided to give the Emei Sect a hand.

He quickly moved from the Earth Dao to the rear mountain.

This place was naturally a cave, connected to the earth's core below.

Grandmaster Ha Ha had extracted evil qi to create a formation here, and had further lured the earth fire into the formation, resulting in an extremely dangerous location.

He usually imprisoned those who violated his rules here, and in less than the time it took for a meal, they would be refined into ashes. Over a thousand years, countless resentful spirits had accumulated here, making it seem like Hell itself.

Now, the disciples of the Emei Sect were trapped here, and although they could withstand the invasion of the earth fire and demon flames with their powerful magical treasures, they were surrounded by darkness on all sides, unable to distinguish east, west, north, or south, and could not find a way out.

Shi Feiyang discerned the direction and found the best angle. He took out the Thousand Leaf Divine Thunder Charge, an artifact he had obtained from the lord of the Everlasting City, Qian Kang, designed specifically for breaking mountains and splitting earth.

He used this treasure to pierce through the soil and stone, releasing some of the earth's qi to weaken Grandmaster Ha Ha's formation's power, and forcibly created a path to the outside. Then he unleashed a series of Taiyin Divine Thunders.

Qi Lingyun and Zhuge Jingwo, along with others, were leading everyone, cautiously searching for a way out.

Suddenly, in the endless darkness, bursts of golden light thunders appeared.

"It's our sect's Taiyin Divine Thunder!"

All the disciples cheered, knowing that an elder from their own sect had come to guide them to safety. They quickly cast spells and flew towards the path where the golden light thunder had appeared.

Shi Feiyang did not show himself but used his Taiyin Divine Ability to lead them into the path he had created. They flew swiftly, quickly leaving the cave.

When they had entered, Grandmaster Ha Ha had opened up the mountain directly above them. The mountain peak had long been refined by Grandmaster Ha Ha into a magical treasure, which he had positioned above them. Even Shi Feiyang would have difficulty lifting it again.

Now that they had escaped through the path created by Shi Feiyang into an underground passageway, they headed straight towards Grandmaster Ha Ha's practice quarters and nest.

The group of youngsters quickly recognized it: "This is Grandmaster Ha Ha's lair!"

Without hesitation, they released Flying Sword Magical Treasures and Divine Thunders, hacking, smashing, and bombarding in chaos. Booming explosions continued as even the Qiantian One Origin Thunderbolt was unleashed, causing a large area of the cave to collapse and all sorts of household utensils to be shattered to pieces.

Soon, after a large piece of the rock wall was blasted and crumbled away, the sealed disciples of Yue Yun appeared behind it.

"Uncle Master Yue!" The disciples were astonished. "How did you end up here?"

They hastily rescued Yue Yun, assuming that he had been acting alone earlier and had been captured and imprisoned here by Grandmaster Ha Ha.

They had originally thought that it was Yue Yun who had used the Taiyin Divine Thunder to lead them out. It turned out that Yue Yun had already been captured.

Yue Yun was also perplexed. Not long ago, he had been in the East Sea, and when he was caged by the Shi Feiyang within a rock face, he thought he was still within his own cave in the East Sea. Suddenly, he saw so many Emei disciples. Zhuge Jingwo and others removed the restraints on him.

Finally able to speak, Yue Yun conversed with the others only to find that they were at cross purposes!

Shi Feiyang watched the scene from the shadows with delight.

Suddenly, he sensed the presence of many people beneath the ruins, so he left the area and quietly passed through the wreckage to reach the deeper parts of the Underground Palace.

There were also a dozen or so chambers here, the biggest one among them.

On the walls of the chamber were reliefs depicting men and women rewarding each other.

Some of these men and women had a thousand hands and a thousand eyes, some had three heads and six feet, some had kind and compassionate faces, while others looked like fierce evil spirits, not resembling ordinary humans but rather evil gods.

In the center of the chamber was a large circular stone bed, and atop it, there was a carved jade lotus platform, about thirty feet in diameter.

All sorts of bedding and accessories were fully provided.
