The Ancestor of All Demons

Chapter 508: 412 Red Corpse Seven Evil Incarnations_2

Deng Yin felt the cost of this method was too great and asked again, "What then is the second method?"

Shi Feiyang thought for a moment and said, "I'll teach you a Demon Refinement technique that will allow you to gradually peel away your own Primordial Spirit from those seven incarnations. I'll also give you a Magical Treasure specifically designed to suppress and protect your mind from Demons, completely subduing them. This way, you can benefit from them without harm, and your thousand years of hard work won't go up in smoke."

The words Shi Feiyang had previously spoken had already left the two Divine Monarchs incredulous; with this, even Deng Yin found the notion utterly fantastical, beyond comprehension!

The Red Corpse God Monarch said gravely, "I have never met you before nor do we have any past dealings. In fact, I won't hide the fact that because of the affair of Nine Lethal Daoist, I harbored quite a few prejudices against you. Just now, had we made a move, I would have been ready to attack you with all my strength."

Shi Feiyang smiled and nodded, "I saw that, and it's precisely because of this that I hold you in a different regard from other members of the Demon Path."

The Red Corpse God Monarch continued, "If you, out of respect for brother Deng Yin, graciously offer me three Three Elements Soul Firming Pills, it's already an enormous favor for which I'm immensely grateful. But now you're also offering to teach me techniques and give me a Magical Treasure; I truly can't understand why. If you have any conditions, state them first. If I can meet them, we can continue our discussion. If I can't, or shouldn't, let's end this matter here."

Shi Feiyang praised him, "It's precisely because I like your character that I want to help you. I truly want to; there's no need for you to be skeptical. Nor do I need you to exchange anything for it. There's just one thing..."

Having said there's no need for an exchange, yet immediately following it with "there's just one thing," the three thought it was a classic case of "as expected" since it seemed he was about to set conditions after all.

However, Shi Feiyang's next words once again upended their understanding of him, "This new junior brother of mine tends to be straightforward, and from the start of his cultivation, he practiced the 'Nine Heavens Mysterious Scripture', later obtaining the 'Blood God Scripture', both among the most revered techniques within the Daoist and Demon teachings.

His aptitude and comprehension are excellent, and such mana is easily cultivated, leading him to develop an arrogant and condescending demeanor, rarely taking others seriously. The 'Blood God Scripture' he practices is from the Evil Book, ridden with many perils. I have yet to find a solution to resolve them, so I can only try to delay and cope.

During this time, he's bound to cause further trouble. You are eager to do good, open-hearted, a person of straightforward loyalty. I hope you will stay by his side. If he's again disturbed by his inner Demons and on the verge of unleashing his ferocity, I ask that you render your aid, doing your best to help him suffer less calamity."

After listening, the three exchanged glances in silence, each thinking, "Is that it???"

Shi Feiyang's words seemed superfluous; the Red Corpse God Monarch and Deng Yin had been close for a thousand years, having fought desperately against foes from both the righteous and Demon factions for Deng Yin before, nearly facing complete annihilation. With such a strong bond, why would they need an outsider like Shi Feiyang to entrust such a task?

Yet aside from this, Shi Feiyang asked for nothing else. The three Demon Cult leaders could not believe in Shi Feiyang's sincerity and were convinced he had ulterior motives, yet they couldn't fathom what those motives might be.

People from the Demon Cult were adept at gauging one's heart, even able to directly sense what others were thinking. However, these three Great Demons combined could not discern Shi Feiyang's intentions, puzzled as to what he truly wanted.

They simply found him too enigmatic!

When Shi Feiyang appeared genuine, the Red Corpse God Monarch and Deng Yin had to accept it as such.

The Red Corpse God Monarch repeatedly expressed his admiration, "Your noble virtue truly shames us! Deng brother and I are as close as hands and feet; I would never stand idly by should he need help."

Deng Yin was also deeply moved and joined the Red Corpse God Monarch in thanking Shi Feiyang.

After the meal, Deng Yin asked Shi Feiyang for assistance in dealing with the Red Corpse God Monarch's quandary, unsure of what Shi Feiyang had up his sleeve and worried that lengthy delays might lead to a change of heart.

At the same time, he was curious about the exquisite method Shi Feiyang mentioned that could separate the seven Evil Incarnations that had fused with the Red Corpse God Monarch's own Primordial Spirit.

"I don't have a solution right now; I need to think about it and study it well."

"What???" Again, they were bewildered.

In their minds, a technique capable of separating the Seven Evil Spirits should be exceedingly formidable, most likely derived from the Heavenly Book Immortal Scroll.

After all, Deng Yin practiced the ultimate techniques of both the Daoist and Demon teachings, and yet even he couldn't think of any way to solve it.

He had methods to destroy the Seven Evil Incarnations, but to safely separate them without harming the Red Corpse God Monarch's Primordial Spirit was indeed too difficult!

They suspected Shi Feiyang's cultivation included Guang Chengzi's Heavenly Book and thought the solution should come from there, but Shi Feiyang saying he hadn't figured it out yet and needed to consider it on the spot seemed absurd!

Who could just catch a hot bun with bare hands and casually create such an advanced cultivation technique on the spot?

It just wasn't possible!

The three exchanged glances again, convinced that Shi Feiyang must be relying on ancient methods from a predecessor, partly to mystify them with the profoundness of his mana, and partly to put them more in his debt.

Nevertheless, as long as he ultimately produced the solution, that was all that mattered.

The Red Corpse God Monarch thought, if it turned out to be successful, Shi Feiyang would have indeed resolved a lifelong threat, and gratitude would never be too much. Thus, he played along with the pretense, making sure to perform his part convincingly.
