The Ancestor of All Demons

Chapter 494: 404 Sacrificial

Deng Yin, filled with grievances, expressed his sincere intention to cooperate with Shi Feiyang, but Shi Feiyang refused to trust him. In the Star Constellations Sea, Shi Feiyang took the practice method for the Liangyi Dust Formation from him and ran off after refining the sword...

In fact, what he taught Shi Feiyang was merely the operational principles of the Liangyi Dust Formation and a few changes in how portals open and close, enough to help Shi Feiyang escape. It wasn't even a simplified version of the formation map; most of Shi Feiyang's knowledge came from his own subsequent insights.

However, Shi Feiyang did not refute him, but instead told him, "Now that you have escaped, you can seek revenge on your enemies from the past. How you handle that is none of my business. I am following the Three Emperors Dao and am also the Great Ming National Master... You're a smart person, so I need not spell out everything explicitly."

He was utterly sincere: "I genuinely hope to be friends with you and truly do not wish for us to become enemies one day. I hope you can understand my sincere intentions."

Deng Yin sighed and said, "You still don't trust me. I merely practice Demonic Path Skills, don't you practice Demonic Path Skills as well? Saying that we will endanger the Human World and must be eliminated beforehand is just an excuse from those hypocrites of Buddhism and Daoism!"

"Let's hope so!" Shi Feiyang then asked Deng Yin what his plans were for the future.

Deng Yin answered, "My Purple Ying Sword was taken by my senior brother, and all my treasures were destroyed. Now that I have reappeared, I am extremely impoverished and need to find some treasures first. Do you know of any places where I might be able to obtain some treasures?"

After thinking for a moment, Shi Feiyang said, "Apart from me and Buddhist followers, the Ancient Wuhua family and their three Demon Corpses also desire the treasures of the Holy Mausoleum. They arrived after me and happened to come across Xin Ru and me dueling. Startled by our duel, they did not dare to show themselves and quickly retreated. They possess quite a few Ancient Treasures, and if you are interested, you could go there to find some useful treasures."

Deng Yin initially hoped his disciples would share some of the magical treasures they had obtained from Yuan River with him, but he hadn't expected to be directed towards Baiyang Mountain instead.

Deng Yin originally knew little about the ancient tomb of the Wuhua family, only hearing that ancestors from the Yellow Emperor's era had become Demon Corpses upon resurrection. In ancient times, when they caused chaos, they were subdued and sealed by the True Master of Baiyang.

However, having read books and known about the situation there, and upon Shi Feiyang's mention, Deng Yin suddenly realized, and after careful calculation, the Gua Xiang indicated that Buddhist figures had already rushed there.

He hurriedly said, "Thank you for your guidance. I'll go now, and may we meet again if fate allows!"

During their conversation, Deng Yin soared into the air, his Blood Shadow flickering a few times before disappearing.

Watching him leave, Shi Feiyang sighed slightly; he genuinely hoped that Deng Yin would change for the better to avoid having to deal with him later...

The reason he directed him to the ancient tomb at Baiyang Mountain to obtain treasures wasn't because he minded sharing some of the treasures from the Golden Ship but because Buddhist people had already gone there, primarily aiming to obtain the tomb's Lamp Oil.

The Wuhua family was an ancient tribal leader and king. Societies were differentiated by whether they had built city walls and under his rule, this king governed more than one city, wielding significant power.

He had a son named Rong Dun. When Chi You rose up to wage war against the Yellow Emperor, Rong Dun led troops to assist Chi You. However, Chi You was slain by the Yellow Emperor, and Rong Dun was captured.

Shamelessly carrying generous gifts, the Wuhua Family pleaded repeatedly with the Yellow Emperor, who, moved by his paternal affection, allowed Rong Dun to return.

Yet, Rong Dun had a fiery temper and wanted to reorganize his troops for another battle with the Yellow Emperor. But with Chi You dead and the Yellow Emperor having unified the heavens, commanding all territories, no chance remained for Rong Dun to overturn his humiliation or restore his honor, driving him to die from sheer rage.

After his death, his father, head of the Wuhua family, died soon, and the ministers buried them at the foot of Baiyang Mountain, where they built a vast Underground Palace tomb.

Among the burial items were numerous Ancient Treasures, some quite powerful; but those were insignificant. What truly concerned Shi Feiyang, Deng Yin, and the Buddhists was the Lamp Oil in front of the Mausoleum.

Shi Feiyang possessed the Purple and Blue Douluo Fire and Nine Heavens Divine Flames, which every three thousand years gathered to form a formidable Blossom; it was an object feared by all Heavenly Gods and Demons. If assisted by Lamp Oil, its spiritual effect could double!

Meanwhile, Buddhist Xie Shan possessed the Heart Lamp Flower Lamp, one of Buddhism's top Magical Treasures, although not as powerful as the Seven Treasures Golden Banner or the Conch Leaf Talisman.

In the original text, Deng Yin suffered a series of attacks including Yan Yingmu's Soundless Divine Thunder and Li Jingxu's Taiyin Divine Thunder, which caused him immense pain but did not inflict substantial harm. Eventually, it was Xie Shan's Heart Lamp that killed him.

Unlike the Purple and Blue Divine Flames, which are the essence formed by the burning of the Qianling Golden Lamp in Taixu Immortal Mansion over thousands of years and have become independent of the lamp, having Lamp Oil to nourish them is optimal but not essential; they can manage adequately against supreme Demons and top-tier Buddhist monks, and are more than competent against ordinary demons.

The Heart Lamp's core is the lamp that needs oil to burn and function. Xie Shan used it centuries ago, and now the Spiritual Oil within the lamp is depleting.

If one talked about the best Lamp Oil in the Shushan World, it was stored inside two massive oil cauldrons located next to the Nine Tripods in Qiao Mountain Holy Mausoleum. The cauldrons were even larger than the tripods themselves, containing Divine Oil that had accumulated over millennia.
