The Ancestor of All Demons

Chapter 469: 383 Seven Evil Incarnations

Mo Zhui and the four youngsters were negotiating with the Five Immortal Apes when suddenly, an earthquake shook the ground, and the cave interior was thrown into chaos with rocks tumbling and dust scattering, as if the end of days had arrived, striking terror into everyone's hearts.

Before they could act, a continuous "cracking" sound erupted—half of the peak of Yellow Dragon Mountain was inexplicably lifted away!

Everyone looked up to see the sky churning with dark, ink-like clouds of Evil Qi. The wind howled as bolts of golden light thundered, mixed with a great amount of dark red blood light, darting around like thousands of poisonous snakes flickering in and out of sight.

It turned out that the Blood Rock Hermit had considered that the three youngsters were using the Heaven and Earth Quiet Circle to defend the cave's entrance and were relying on the terrain to stalemate with him. Unable to take them down quickly and knowing that his junior brother would be at a disadvantage over time, he used his Great Technique and directly broke off nearly one-third of the Yellow Dragon Mountain peak, wrapped it with the Seven Evil Incarnations' Black Gold Heavenly Curtain he had refined, and lifted it into the clouds to brutally smash it down onto the Ape Demon!

The Ape Demon roared, undeterred by the Ten Finger Demonic Light Sword Qi shooting at it. It surged upward, charging hard, and drilled into the mountain peak.

The Blood Rock Hermit shouted loudly, "Junior brother! Follow me and set up the formation!" He gestured to Poison Hand Mo Shen and the others to quickly cast spells, emitting a large quantity of thick Black Gold Smoke. Like a spider spinning silk, they wrapped the entire mountain peak layer by layer, hermetically sealing it. The dark red Evil Qi infiltrated the rocks, continuously staining them until it became a massive dark red Blood Stone.

Poison Hand Mo Shen had just had several Magical Treasures destroyed by the Elder Ape and was about to release Evil Fire to refine the Ape Demon when the Blood Rock Hermit stopped him: "Don't bother with him; this can only trap him for a moment. Keep watch here with me; I'll go capture those four youngsters and then leave!"

As he lifted away the mountaintop, he also set up the Twelve Evil Gods Formation with Black Gold God Evil to cover the broken peak. The four youngsters and the Five Immortal Apes had no time to escape; he dove down, conjuring the Seven Evil Incarnations.

Disciples of the Xuanyuan Dharma King typically cultivated the Seven Evil Incarnations, with identical foundational cultivation techniques. Having cultivated for hundreds of years, his four major disciples each had their own insights. The Blood Rock Hermit's Seven Evil Incarnations differed from those used by the ancient Heavenly Demon Devil Ancestor Gu Ying, manifesting as seven blood-red figures with butterfly-like wings on their backs, dragging behind tails of blood-red light tens of feet long, sometimes visible and sometimes not in the vast Black Gold Evil Qi.

The seven avatars simultaneously executed seven of the most fearsome Evil Skills from the Xuanyuan Dharma King's teachings, attacking from all directions.

The Five Immortal Apes, lacking in Effort, were individually struck by the Evil Skills; some giggled woefully with blood seeping from the seven orifices, some displayed abnormal rage with snarling grins, and some collapsed entirely...

Only the eldest among them, whose Effort was greater and having accidentally consumed an Immortal Fruit in his youth, still maintained a semblance of composure, wobbling as if on the verge of collapse.

Mo Zhui and the Ganoderma Immortal each exhaled Immortal Energy, and with a sweep over their faces, they roused each one awake.

The Queen Mother Grass and Ganoderma, both being the world's most supreme Spiritual Medicines, had once enabled Qi Jincan with just a lick on the eyes from the Ganoderma Immortal, granting him the Wisdom Eyes that could see through demonic mists and clouds. With their rescue, the exhale of Immortal Energy from Mo Zhui and the Ganoderma Immortal was like a rebirth for the Five Immortal Apes.

The Great Ape expressed gratitude to Mo Zhui, but before it could finish speaking, columns of Black Gold Smoke mixed with dark red Demon Qi burst down from all four quadrants of the sky like a rapid-firing cannon.

The three youngsters commanded three circles, spinning like lightning wheels and casting brilliant colors, repelling all the Demon Qi and Evil Smoke, forcibly holding them above. However, the stream of Blood Evil Black Smoke was relentless, bearing down like countless tons of seawater, so the three youths could only hold on temporarily. The Ganoderma Immortal looked around upward; his eyesight was extraordinary, having been cultivated over the years with Immortal Law personally tailored for him by Master Yuan Yang.

He quickly spotted the huge dark red mountain peak inside which the Elder Ape was sealed, hanging mid-air, shrouded and bobbing within the boundless dark clouds of Evil Qi. With a gesture, he unleashed the Five Directions Divine Halberd gifted to him by Shi Feiyang.

Poison Hand Mo Shen breathed a sigh of relief seeing the Ape Demon contained, with the senior brother ordering him to oversee the capture of the four youngsters with his fellow disciples as he went below. Watching from above, his senior brother couldn't break through the three circles, failing to capture them, so he was about to go down and assist.

Had he really gone down, the four youngsters, despite having the Heaven and Earth Quiet Circle, would have been overpowered by the combat that had already taken place. Just then, the Ganoderma Immortal unleashed the Five Directions Divine Halberd, transforming into a Five-Colored Ancient Giant Axe that spun upward with the momentum of splitting heaven and earth, casting about a great deal of Five-colored Radiance, seeming to slice through the cosmos itself.

Poison Hand Mo Shen, seeing this, cried out in alarm: "No good!" He hurriedly tried to stop it, but it was too late. The Five Directions Divine Halberd struck the vast Blood Rock mountain peak, which shone like a red gemstone.

The Ape Demon, trapped and infuriated to the extreme, was violently attacking from within. Even without the Ganoderma Immortal's intervention, it would've soon broken free. As the Divine Halberd split the mountain open, the Demon Ape leaped out, and ten strokes of blood-colored Sword Qi swept across the sky.

The Sword Qi was delicate yet fierce; not only capable of thrusting but also slashing. The long blades spread tens of feet in length, sweeping up and down around the mountain peak where the Demon Humans and Dao cultivators were still trying to suppress the Ape Demon with their continuous incantations and spells, cutting them down like wheat, reducing them instantly to shattered bones and flesh.

Had Poison Hand Mo Shen not possessed strong Mana, he would have been severed at the waist. He bellowed and split into seven avatars, each wielding a Demon Blade and surrounding the Ape Demon with Magical Treasures to attack.

If the original Elder Monkey were to fight alone against Poison Hand Mo Shen, it would be hard to determine the winner in a short time, but the Ape Demon who had merged with the Heavenly Demon Immortal Slaying Sword was a different story. Poison Hand Mo Shen had used all his tricks, but he quickly fell into a disadvantage. He roared angrily, bellowed incessantly, and frantically urged all his mana, but he still couldn't change the situation of the battle.

He let out a long howl, calling for help from his third senior brother. The Blood Rock Hermit, in his urgency, couldn't break through the Heaven and Earth Quiet Circle, and his junior brother was no match for the Ape Demon. He made a split-second decision and immediately flew back, shouting to his junior brother, "Quick, follow me!"

Poison Hand Mo Shen didn't understand what he meant but still abandoned the Ape Demon and quickly followed his senior brother to leave.

"We've lost so many disciples, and we didn't get the items, are we just going to skulk away like this? How can we explain this to Master when we return?" Poison Hand Mo Shen complained in desperate fury.

The Blood Rock Hermit said, "That Elder Monkey is not right, I don't know what happened to him, but he has become possessed. If we continue to fight stubbornly, we will suffer, so let's take a step back. That monkey who turned demonic will definitely covet the millennia-old Spiritual Medicine. Once he breaks through those three circles, we will kill our way back and snatch the Spiritual Medicine! After all, with four Spiritual Medicines, it doesn't matter if he consumes one or two."

Poison Hand Mo Shen deeply felt this made sense. The two brothers did not withdraw the Seven Evil Incarnations Heavenly Curtain, leaving a thousand-mile spread of black clouds, engulfing the entire Yellow Dragon Mountain.

But speaking of that Ape Demon, as the Blood Rock Hermit had predicted, after this great battle, he completely unleashed his ferocity. His eyes turned blood-red as he swooped down, demanding Mo Zhui and others to withdraw the three circles.

Mo Zhui and the others sensed something was wrong with him, and refused to withdraw the circles, still maintaining the three circles of light above their heads for protection.

The Ape Demon roared in fury, "You were chased by a Demon Human and came to me, begging for protection. I have driven away your enemy, and now, my home of several hundred years is destroyed because of you. Now you occupy the remnants of my home and block me from entering. What kind of reasoning is this?"

Mo Zhui said, "Because we have different physiques from birth compared to regular humans, we are extra cautious in all things, and we beg for your understanding, senior! We're not wild grass that roams indiscriminately through the mountains and plains. Our father is known as Master Yuan Yang, the State Preceptor of the Great Ming Dynasty. Our surname is Shi. You'll know it's true if you inquire, there is no mistake. We beg you to make way and let us leave. Once we find our father, we will definitely relay your act of rescue, and as a generous man, he will surely prepare a generous gift to thank you heavily..."

The Ape Demon thought to himself, have Shi Feiyang thank me? I'm not planning to see him ever again in my life! But first, I must consume these mature Spiritual Medicines, only then will I have the capital to completely rid myself of Shi Feiyang.

He bellowed fiercely, "Since you are so ungrateful, none of you shall leave. Enter my belly, all of you!"

He sprayed a stream of blood light in the air, and the red blood light condensed into a massive Demon Ape skull in the air. The skull, tens of meters high, faced downwards and opened its mouth wide. Its sharp fangs fully opened, emitting a stream of blood aura that poured down like a waterfall, covering an area of several acres before drawing a forceful breath!

The four youngsters immediately felt as if all the blood in their bodies wanted to leave them. Fortunately, the Heaven and Earth Quiet Circle held firm, otherwise, with that suction, their spiritual energy and blood would have been completely drained!

The Five Immortal Apes, with lower Dao Levels than the youngsters, had blood rushing to their heads, with blood spurting from their eyes, ears, mouths, and noses. Ganoderma Immortal hastily emitted another stream of Immortal Energy to protect them.

The Five Immortal Apes looked up at the Ape Demon in terror, saying in a panic, "That's not our Master! That's not our Master!"

Mo Ying said, "I already told you it wasn't!"

The Ape Demon's eyes blazed with bloody flames, his face contorted, ferociously terrifying, and he continued to increase his mana output.

The pull on their spiritual energy and blood from above grew stronger and stronger. The Five Immortal Apes bled all over, and even the weakest among the four youngsters — Purple River Grass Mo Ying — was starting to falter.

Not only could the Ape Demon extract fresh blood and essence energy from a distance, but he could also induce hallucinations, creating various kinds of Heavenly Demon Illusions.

Among the four youngsters, Mo Zhui had followed Shi Feiyang the longest, had the highest Dao Level, and the strongest mana. Next was Ganoderma Immortal, who not only stabilized his own form and spirit but also had surplus energy to help others. Immortal Mushrooms had only three thousand years of Dao Level, but his nature was simple and naive, totally unaffected by the Heavenly Demon Illusions, and could well protect himself; Mo Ying also managed to hold on. Although the Five Immortal Apes received full support from Mo Zhui and Ganoderma Immortal, their condition worsened.

Just as the Five Immortal Apes were about to be drained to mummies, suddenly from the northeast came a long howl, "Which blind beast dares to bully our children?"

A white and a green light then flew toward them. It was as if two sharp flashes had lit up the dark night, slicing through the sky in an instant. The white was a Flying Sword, and the green was a Treasure Hook. They cut through the surging Black Gold Evil Fog in the sky above Yellow Dragon Mountain. With a single sweep of the Green Hook, the blood-colored Ape Demon skull in the air was dispersed into wisps of blood mist, while the white sword shot straight toward the Ape Demon's true form.
