The Ancestor of All Demons

Chapter 437: 362 ten-day divine punishment

Nine Child Mother Sky Demon relentlessly "plucked" those millennium-old Flying Corpses, while Shi Feiyang, with a backhanded wave, released the Five-Colored Divine Light. A vast array of rosy clouds blocked off the northbound barrage of thousands of giant trees.

These colossal trees were somber and wicked timbers, cultivated through ranks in the deep, ancient forests. Carved with the vilest evil script and ghostly runes, they were then subjected to Ancient Times sacrificial methods, using living human blood and souls as offerings. By crafting "Wood Tombs," they buried the timbers underground to absorb copious amounts of Earthly Yin Qi. After centuries of refinement, each tree could shatter a mountain peak. Even the lesser Flying Swords, upon encountering these, would be blasted apart and stood no chance of withstanding them.

Shi Feiyang used the Five-Colored Divine Light to keep the massive trees at bay in midair. All of a sudden, the multicolored light transformed into red, every trace of the Five Elements Essence Qi transmuted into Bing Fire Essence. With a series of sharp pops, fierce flames rapidly unfurled across the sky, coalescing into a vast expanse of fire clouds that burnt through the heavens.

The flames engulfed the giant trees, burning intensely. The Earthly Yin Qi upon them hissed and smoked as it was significantly depleted.

At the same time, on the eastern front, a hundred-zhang-tall wave of Black Evil surged up like a pitch-dark cliff, atop which stood a multitude of Black Evil Sect devotees. Unleashing the Sect's most infamous move, the Black Evil Hand, they coalesced a multitude of giant black hands in the air. In an instant, hundreds formed; the biggest, as vast as a mountain, were naturally conjured by the Black Evil Sect Hierarch, while even the smallest were the size of a carriage wheel. From high above, they simultaneously struck down toward the valley.

Shi Feiyang, with a flick of his wrist, launched a thousand fist-sized Five Elements Divine Thunder beads. Jia Wood and Yimu, Bing Fire and Ding Fire, Earth Element and Earth, Geng Metal and Xin Metal, Ren Water and Gui Water—all types of colored beads, each of varying properties—floated toward the massive black hands like soap bubbles in sunlight, violently detonating upon contact with intense, concentrated explosions.

In this duel, Shi Feiyang didn't allow Gongye Huang to make a move, only letting him watch from the sidelines.

Shi Feiyang intended to show Gongye Huang his Daoist power, determined to vanquish the Four Evils of the Border Hills single-handedly!

Those Four Evils were centuries-old monstrosities, each a Sect Leader Level expert. Four on one, even Gongye Huang couldn't fend them off. Even so, Shi Feiyang didn't rely on many Magical Treasures. With an initial strategy, he trapped Zhu Ying using the Liangyi Dust Formation. His Liangyi Dust Formation was still in its exploratory and innovative stage, unlike the three elders' meticulously arranged one capable of unleashing Pure Yang Immortal Fire to refine anything. His formation could temporarily ensnare Zhu Ying but not kill her. Moreover, he relied on the Nine Child Mother Sky Demon to help collect those wildly darting corpses and Flying Corpses. He refrained from using any other treasures, instead, confronting hundreds of enemies with only the Five Elements True Qi.

Discovering that the Black Evil Sect was the weakest, he condensed a massive version of himself within the Five-Colored Divine Light, towering over ten-zhang tall, donning a golden crown and a white cloak, opening his arms wide. Five Elements Divine Thunder pelted down like peas from the palms of his hands, swooping towards the Black Evil Sect.

The Black Evil Sect had never witnessed such spells. Upon seeing the "giant" approach, they were initially skeptical, assuming it to be an illusion. But the myriad of thunder beads raining down were all too real. A multitude drifted over, continuously blasting their jointly formed black tidal cliff to pieces, prompting them to shout loudly as they cast forth Flying Swords, Flying Forks, and various Magical Treasures, all targeting the "giant."

However, Shi Feiyang himself appeared behind them. Spreading his hands, ten fingers radiated Divine Light that rapidly extended forward, intertwining to instantly form a vast, multicolored light net.

Each strand of colored light carried an attribute: the Gold Attribute was sharp, Wood was substantial, Fire was ferocious... And within the interlacing of the net, different Five Elements Divine Thunder orbs formed, far more potent than the small Five Elements Thunder Beads he had released earlier.

This was the new application of the Five Elements Essence Qi that Shi Feiyang had derived over the years from his study of the He Sha Book—a semi-original Spell he innovated: the Great Five Elements Annihilation Divine Thunder Net, both of pre-natal and post-natal potency.

As soon as the enormous light net was cast, it was flat, but upon reaching the skies, it dramatically expanded and bent forward from all sides, like a giant fishing net. The Black Evil Sect devotees atop the tidal cliff became fish and shrimps caught in the haul. By the time they realized, the Five-Colored Light Net had already become an all-encompassing barrier!

The Black Evil Sect Hierarch was the first to notice, crying out in alarm, hoarsely yelling for all disciples to flee westward, while simultaneously casting spells in a flurry. His hands quickly shifted through Spiritual Formulas, striking forth sixty-four mountain-sized Black Evil Hands into the net, attempting to explode the Light Net, as he himself transformed into a streak of black smoke, fleeing with great speed toward the west.

The quicker disciples of the Black Evil Sect also ran west, unaware that Shi Feiyang's spell was cunningly designed to generate a powerful suction within the net's eyes. Anything associated with the Five Elements was to be absorbed—after all, what in this world does not fall under the Five Elements? Everyone, along with their Flying Swords and Magical Treasures, was powerfully drawn in. Those with weaker abilities couldn't escape and were instead sucked upwards, crashing violently; even those with stronger abilities slowed down in their flight, nowhere near fast enough to outrun the net's enveloping speed.

Only the Black Evil Sect Hierarch, the cunning Hao Lao, using two blood-soaked puppets as decoys, sliced off two fingertips and stuffed them into the puppets' mouths to throw into the net, slightly alleviating the suction and narrowly escaping disaster.

The colossal Light Net wrapped up, forming a sphere tens of zhang in diameter, even the pervasive black Evil Qi was absorbed into it.

In the next second, the sphere abruptly collapsed inward, shrinking to the size of a fist. All the thunder beads detonated at once, followed by an explosive expansion. In one deafening boom, they scattered into a sky full of multicolored light.

The people inside, without exception, were blown into dust, not a hair left intact!
