The Ancestor of All Demons

Chapter 266: 261 years are equivalent to 48 years

Shi Feiyang settled down in Bitter Bamboo Temple, and the Gua Xiang indicated that Zheng Dianxian wouldn't be seeking revenge anytime soon. Even if she did return, he wasn't afraid.

This time, all of Zheng Dianxian's magical treasures were destroyed, and one of her hands was severed, completely dampening her spirit. If she were to seek revenge, it would only be during a time when her fate was weak, and she would certainly not come alone.

In fact, many people knew the secret of the Yuan River Treasure Ship. Zheng Dianxian arrogantly thought that only a few people knew; figures from the Orthodox Sect such as Fen Tuo Divine Nun, Yan Yingmu, Master You Tan, Divine Camel Yi Xiu, the Three Immortals and Two Elders, Ling Hun, and others all knew, as did many from the Evil Sect.

After many years of planning and feeling inadequate in power, Zheng Dianxian had been unable to retrieve the treasure and had to wait for these people of the Orthodox Sect to come and obtain it. Here, she had established a new Daoist site, acting as a landlord with a Golden Spider in hand, from which she could reap the main benefits; that was all.

The Yuan River Treasure Ship was deeply hidden within a whirlpool, one thousand three hundred feet below the river bed, firmly held in place by Earth Lungs True Magnet, making it easy to descend but difficult to ascend.

Relying on mana to retrieve the treasure underwater, if during the breaking of the ship's prohibitions any noise was made, or if there were ambushes from others, it would inevitably reveal the earth's energy and draw out the Earth Extreme True Fire, boiling the Yuan River and causing a huge disaster.

Therefore, this matter couldn't be rushed, and for now, Shi Feiyang prioritized his cultivation technique and training.

The first thing he needed to practice was the "He Sha Book."

The "He Sha Book" consisted of seven chapters, not very lengthy; the first two pages were various ancient divine talismans, while the rest detailed the Techniques for sacrificial refinement of the Five Elements True Qi.

This wasn't a cultivation manual; if someone with no foundational knowledge were to use it, it would be pointless. The reason He Sha Daoist left the "He Sha Book" for Shang Zhu was to have him eliminate the traitor Zhu Que, clean up their sect, and dispel the calamities tied to himself, thus fulfilling the Heavenly Number.

The two chapters containing ancient divine talismans were also quite useful, albeit not belonging to the "Dao" level, but rather to various Techniques levels, each with its own incredible power and uses.

Shi Feiyang gathered many bitter bamboo leaves aged over a hundred years, and after some processing, he consecrated them into divine talismans, testing each and casually distributing the extras to his disciples.

The following five chapters were the "Great Five Elements Annihilation Chapter," the pinnacle among the Five Elements Techniques.

The He Sha Daoist's lineage was considered an offshoot, having developed the Five Elements Techniques to their limit. Starting from the basic practice of Two Elements Essence Qi moving on to refining Five Elements Essence Qi, after cultivating for hundreds of years and accumulating profound amounts of Five Elements Essence Qi and achieving Earth Immortal status, one could then cultivate the Great Five Elements Annihilation Divine Light.

Without the initial foundation, Shi Feiyang should not have been able to cultivate, but he possessed a great amount of finely categorized Five Elements Essence.

Jia Wood Essence Qi belonged to Yang, Yimu Essence Qi belonged to Yin, initially specifically differentiated, and now he mixed them again, refining them into Wood Element Essence Qi using a combined refining technique.

The rest of the Bing Ding Fire, Wu Ji Earth, Geng Xin Metal, Ren Gui Water, and other Essence Qis were all refined in this manner.

With the Five Elements Essence Qi ready, he drew these Essences into his body, burning previously refined Five Elements Talisman while merging the Fire Element Essence Qi into his heart, mixing with Divine Energy, Water Element Essence Qi into his kidneys, mixing with Essence Qi, Wood Element Essence Qi into his liver, mixing with Soul Energy, Metal Element Essence Qi into his lungs, mixing with Po Qi, and Earth Element Essence Qi into his spleen, mixing with Intent Energy.

Thus, he stimulated the Inner Five Elements with the Outer Five Elements, nourishing the Inner Five Elements with the Outer, integrating both internally and externally, merging man with nature, directing the Five Qis towards the origin, creating a unified force.

Within the Meditative State, after refining continuously for eighty-one days, he finally had fully assimilated all the external Five Elements Essence Qi into his own.

He stepped outside his housing, lifting his finger, a white Light Energy shot out from his fingertip, severing a bitter bamboo outside the door in half.

He estimated his current level of Effort was roughly equivalent to twelve years of cultivation at the He Sha Sect; to further increase his power, he would need to absorb more of the Five Elements Essence Qi and continue cultivating.

Eighty-one days was equivalent to twelve years for others; the speed was already considerably fast. In the Shushan World, the Immortal Law couldn't be achieved overnight or in a single evening.

During these days, Huo Wuhai and Deng Bagu had already moved all items from Heavenly Silkworm Ridge here.

Feeling he would reside here for many years, Shi Feiyang was not satisfied with the current setup. He made plans and instructed his disciples to tear down and rebuild the existing buildings, expanding the total area tenfold, creating a five-section courtyard with east and west wings.

He set up a temporary Medicine Garden in the East Wing for Ganoderma Immortal, Zhi Ma, and Little Spiritual Rhinoceros to manage. The West Wing was allocated for Bai Guanhong and transformed into a Gu Garden.

Bai Guanhong possessed Innate talent and had personally experienced and stealthily learned the Gu Refining Technique from the Green Robe Ancestor. Shi Feiyang taught him according to his abilities, creating a special Cultivation Method for him that involved teaming up with the Golden Spider to subdue the Hundred Poison Golden Silkworm Gu. Several plots within the Gu Garden were designated as flower and medicinal gardens, planting various poisonous trees and flowers and capturing various Poison Insects to study Gu Techniques.

Huo Wuhai and Deng Bagu specialized in one field, so Shi Feiyang gave each of them two bottles of Essence Qi and taught them to cultivate Fire Element Essence Qi and Water Element Essence Qi.

He taught Ganoderma Immortal to cultivate the Wood Element Essence Qi and instructed Xiao Lingxi to cultivate both Wood and Earth Elements Essence Qi.

Xiao Lingxi was nurtured by the Spiritual Stone Earth Veins and transformed from the Eastern Taiyin Essence. Originally, it could produce a few drops of Taiyin Essence Spirit Liquid each year from its mouth, which when incorporated into medicine or the refining of treasures, exhibited divine effects. Combined, it could bring the dead back to life and restore bones. The treasures it transformed were also top-notch. For instance, Jiang Shu acquired a Broken Jade Hook forged by the Gonggong family containing Taiyin Essence.

Shi Feiyang fed it Earth, Jia Wood, and Yi Wood Essence as if they were cattle fodder, producing Taiyin Essence daily which he collected in a pure bottle, quickly accumulating half a bottle.

He applied this Taiyin Essence on bamboo roots, causing the Bitter Bamboo to grow ferociously, reaching over thirty meters in height and as thick as a washbasin, piercing the heavens, standing tall and solitary. Each bamboo leaf grew two to three meters long, impervious to swords and axes, immune to lightning strikes, and indestructible by water or fire. Moreover, new bamboo shoots emerged daily, shooting up a meter within half a day.

Using Taiyin Essence on the root system of the Ganoderma Immortal, its body also started to solidify, rapidly forming the outline of bones and organs.

Xiao Lingxi was indeed a treasure. Shi Feiyang had re-refined the two Thunder Sound Cones he got from Jiuhua Mountain and handed them to Xiao Lingxi, instructing him to swallow them, nurture them well, and if danger arose, to spit them out at the enemy and then swiftly escape underground. This tactic was rehearsed several times.

In reality, Xiao Lingxi's constitution was unlike that of the Ganoderma Immortal and didn't have any natural enemies. He was adept at detoxifying; the Beauty Serpent dared to swallow the Ganoderma but hesitated to devour him. Venomous creatures like the Golden Spider and others did not harm him with their toxic breath, and even the Hundred Poison Golden Silkworm Gu dare not approach him.

This little creature joyfully ran and played among flowers and plants in the Medicine Garden with Ganoderma and Zhi Ma daily, living a free and protected life.

Shi Feiyang entered meditative state four times each year to nurture the Five Elements Essence Qi. Each session lasted eighty-one days, accumulating forty-eight years of effort every year. In two years, it equated to ninety-six years of arduous cultivation for others, and within five years, it was akin to two hundred and forty years for someone else, with an incredibly rapid growth rate.

In his spare time, he would venture to the bottom of Yuan River to check the situation of the Golden Ship.

Several times, he dived deep into the whirlpool, using the Zhou Tianyu Light Disc to break through the geomagnetism, and directly entered the Golden Ship.

The ship looked only five and a half meters long and a meter in width, mirroring a very small square; however, the vessel itself was a Treasure that had become misshapen and attracted by the strong magnetism. Once a person flew onto it, they would gradually shrink until they were as small as a thumb.

Shi Feiyang measured the ship from the outside and inside, concluding that its actual length was approximately twenty-five meters and eighteen meters wide. Above the deck, there was a seven-layered Pagoda; the base was hexagonal, the topmost layer spherical with a spire, each layer sealing various Magical Treasures.

The higher up in the Pagoda, the better the stored Magical Treasures, with the top spherical layer holding the Treasure Golden Basin — harboring the most formidable of ancient treasures with seven or eight items of incomparable power.

Of course, the prohibition at the very top was also tremendously potent. Shi Feiyang tentatively tried to decipher it, immediately triggering a massive reaction. Continuing would undoubtedly provoke a geomagnetic storm and volcanic eruptions.

Inside the ship cabin, he discovered some ancient weapons.

Shi Feiyang brought these weapons back to Bitter Bamboo Temple and gave a set of nine Golden Sabers to Huo Wuhai, a set of three Jade Swords to Deng Bagu, and a pair of Golden Spears to Ganoderma. He also gave a set of twelve Golden Spears to Bai Guanhong. By that point, Xiong Man and Zhu Changyuan had also arrived; Shi Feiyang gave a Golden Sword to Xiong Man, as Zhu Changyuan already possessed Lv Zu's Pure Yang Immortal Sword and three hundred sixty Heavenly Feather Arrows, so he received none.

These weapons were ancient divine weapons, crafted with old methods. Although limited in magical uses, their quality was substantial. Shi Feiyang taught each of them to re-refine these weapons according to their spells. Though not comparable to top-tier Flying Swords like Purple Ying or Green Rope, they were indeed better than 自己的飞剑.

These weapons, while abundant, were nowhere near what was stored inside the Pagoda. To obtain the treasures within, it was essential to retrieve the Golden Ship.

In the original story, there were two attempts to retrieve treasures from the Yuan River. The first involved Han Fairy's Big Golden Spider and Zheng Dianxian's Little Golden Spider working together; the ship wasn't out of the water for long before Zheng Dianxian hastily retrieved some treasures. The second attempt used only the Little Golden Spider, which was more forced; when the prohibition broke, treasures scattered across the sky, with everyone grasping what they could based on their fortune.

Shi Feiyang did not want to be so forceful, yet, he only possessed a millennium-old Little Golden Spider, and he would face even greater opposition from the combined forces of the Orthodox and Evil Sects compared to what Zheng Dianxian faced in the original tale during the treasure retrieval.

To hasten the growth of the Little Golden Spider, he specifically constructed a Pill Furnace and refined several hundred jin of Dan Bait as spider nourishment, feeding it the substance.

The spider food consisted not only of Spiritual Medicine but also a large amount of deadly toxins.

Yuan River wasn't like Bai Man Mountain; although many poisonous insects grew in the mountains, they were not highly toxic nor were they plentiful.

Shi Feiyang planted various poisonous flowers and grass in the Gu Garden, using True Water to dilute Taiyin Essence, watering them daily. The poisonous grass not only grew wildly but also mutated. Shi Feiyang instructed Bai Guanhong to select the most toxic ones for hybridization, continuously improving the breeding.

Among them, the Golden Spider's favorite and most beneficial food was named Seven Birds Poison Fruit, resembling loquat but harboring extreme toxicity.

Shi Feiyang specifically cleared a patch of land below Big Bear Ridge to plant three hundred of these trees, also irrigated with True Water Essence. After growing, he would crossbreed them with other poisonous fruits, even employing grafting techniques to cultivate even more potent Seven Birds Poison Fruit.

However, due to the strong toxicity and appealing taste of the resulting fruits, the Golden Spider eagerly consumed nearly a thousand fruits in one gulp during the first batch and then fainted, her breath growing increasingly faint, on the verge of being poisoned to death. Shi Feiyang urgently cast spells to treat her while also having Ganoderma spit out a lot of saliva on the spot to concoct Spiritual Medicine, just managing to save her.

Subsequently, he learned his lesson, not directly feeding the Golden Spider any poisonous fruits or flowers. Instead, he collected them all and refined them into controlled toxicity spider food in the furnace, feeding the Golden Spider fixed amounts daily while simultaneously urging her to cultivate diligently, assisting her in swiftly growing the Dan Qi within her.
