The Mob Priest Will Raise the Heroine

Ch. 249

Chapter 249

"This should be good enough. Now then, shall we ride the lift and ski from the top?"

"Yes, let's go."

Reina quickly mastered the basics.

At this rate, skiing from the top shouldn't be a problem.

Looking around, the other two pairs still seemed to be going through the basic lessons. It wasn't that the two being taught were slow learners—Reina was just exceptionally good.

"Well then, we'll head up first."

"Okay, we'll be right behind you~"

After saying that to Yurii, Clael and Reina headed toward the lift station.

There were a few people in line, but since it was still early, it didn't seem too crowded.

"Alright, next up is... ah."

The staff member at the lift station looked stunned when he saw Reina's face.

Reina was already a dazzlingly beautiful girl.

Standing against the backdrop of the white snowfield, she must have looked like an angel, a goddess, or a snow fairy.

"Let's get on... Reina, this way."

"Okay... I'm a little scared."

"You'll be fine since I'm with you. Here, take my hand."

"Okay..."

Taking Reina's hand, Clael escorted her to the lift.

The two sat side by side on the chair and slowly ascended the gentle slope.

"Wow... this is amazing!"

"Yes, quite the view, isn't it?"

Looking down at the snowy mountain from above was truly a breathtaking sight.

The white snow sparkled brilliantly under the sunlight.

"Look over there! There are animals!"

Reina pointed into the distance.

Following her gaze, he saw two small animals running around on the snow.

"They're foxes... They look like they're having fun. Maybe they're siblings?"

"They might be a pair... They seem really close."

Reina's expression softened with a warm smile.

Just this view alone made the trip to the distant snowy mountains worthwhile... It was such a stunning scene it could move the heart.

"Still... I'm really glad it's sunny today. You can see all the way to the distant mountains..."

Clael narrowed his eyes and looked out over the chain of mountains.

"This past year had its share of hardships... but it feels like we're ending it with a wonderful memory."

"I hope we can travel together again next year."

"Yeah, I hope so too..."

Honestly, he hadn't expected to travel with Reina during winter break, let alone right after summer break.

In the original game scenario, Reina should have been romancing the handsome guys at the academy. Even if he was her foster parent, she shouldn't have had time to travel with Clael.

(So far, Reina doesn't seem to be in love with anyone... Maybe this is heading toward the normal ending.)

A normal ending is the conclusion where she reaches the end without entering a romantic relationship with anyone.

In that ending, Reina remains unmarried, serves society as a Saint, and lives beloved by many humans.

(Well, I'm not saying marriage is the only path to happiness... That's fine in its own way. Still, I can't help but think—what are the main characters even doing?)

The main characters at the academy... He knew they had feelings for Reina, but they just didn't seem to be trying hard enough.

If they liked Reina, they should've made more of an effort to win her heart.

(What are those guys even doing right now...)

"Ah."

Just as he was thinking that, he spotted a figure on the distant snowy mountain.

That figure... was one of the main characters, Vincent Flame. A cocky, dominant pretty boy type.

Apparently, he had been training in the mountains and fighting monsters there... but a bear-type monster had charged him, launching him into a tree.

Then, buried in the snow that fell from above, he rolled down the slope like a snowman.

"............What the hell is he doing?"

Faced with such an absurd scene, Clael couldn't help but blurt out in Kansai dialect.
