<23 September 2024, GRAND MESA OF SUMMER, A+> [Theo and Julia] Theo and Julia encountered Ordus first. Julia called out to him, "Ordus, come here."
"Julia, Theo, I was just looking for the two of you," Ordus said, "what can I do for you?"
"Do you know anything about Mana Condensers?" Theo asked.
"Not really." Ordus said, "Why, what are you wondering?"
Julia quickly explained what they were thinking. Ordus shrugged, "I have some vague memories of a device that did what you are attempting to do, but I do not remember if it was the same as what your blueprint will allow you to build. I think that Kreldar will have more valuable feedback for you than I will."
"Okay, thank you, Ordus, now what did you need from us?" Julia asked.
"I was sent a message by Majordomo Agara of the Karzun-Morrakai Family." Ordus said, "He said that when you have time, Patriarch Karzun wishes to speak with you, as does Lady Dentalia Karzun-Morrakai. So when you are ready, you should send him a message, and he will open a door for you to come for a visit."
"Thank you, Ordus," Theo said.
Ordus nodded. "Of course."
With that, Ordus continued on about his day, and Theo and Julia continued towards where Kreldar was supposedly working on the foundations of their house. When they finally found Kreldar, he was coming out of the tunnels that led throughout the Overlook, and he looked excited.
"Oh, Theo! Julia! I was just 'bout to come lookin' for ye'!" Kreldar said, wiping a smear of dirt from his cheek.
"Well, we were looking for you as well, Kreldar," Theo said with a smile. "But you seem more excited than we are, so why don't you tell us what you have first?"
Kreldar took out three stones from his pockets, one was a liquid-black with a faint shimmer. The second was a soft grey with veins of white and dark grey running through it that seemed to shine with a soft silver light. The last was a stone that was a mottled red stone with a strange, almost glasslike sheen to it that seemed to shift as it moved. Kreldar held the stones out, "Ye' should Identify these."
So Theo and Julia did, starting with the black one.

Value: 0G_63S_11C Status: NeutralAnd last was the red one.
Identification of Target Subject: Heartstone Granite Level: 15 Mana Density: A+ Class: N/A Special: Stable Mana Latice Species: N/A Other: N/A Description This coarse-grained stone that started as granite, like any other, has reacted with the System Mana and developed a Stable Mana Latice. Thanks to the Stable Mana Latice, this stone excels at containing and redirecting mana with minimal loss. Because of this, it is an ideal material for walls.
Value: 0G_48S_28C Status: N/ATheo thought the implications that everything reacted to mana was quite interesting. But he knew that was not what Kreldar had been hoping they would understand. "They are certainly interesting. What about them?"
Kreldar looked excited, "I want to build yer' entire house out of stone, an' with these, it'll work. Still need some wood, but ye' said ye' had plans for that."
Julia was about to respond when Kreldar continued, "But we can talk 'bout details later, what did ye' need from me?"
Julia quickly ran through what they were thinking with the Mana Condenser. Kreldar nodded, "Aye, that wouldn't be hard, honestly, if ye' wanted to use some of the Basalt or Granite, it wouldn't hurt. Both're decent at movin' mana around in one form or another. I'll get ye' a slab, and ye' can get the wood that ye' wanted. Deal?"
Before either of them could respond, the excited Dwarf turned and disappeared back into the tunnel.
"Well, I guess that we have some ents to hunt," Theo said.
"True, we need to light a fire and let the goblins know what we are planning, I think," Julia said.
Theo nodded, and they each went about their day. That night, Theo lit a fire on the edge of the cliff that overlooked the rest of the Grand Mesa of Summer, and then went to sleep.
