Farming with Entries: From Lord to Emperor

Chapter 129: Luo De's Hypothesis (Part 2)

"I, I, I..."

Ivan's face was twisted in pain, clutching his stomach as he curled up.

"My stomach hurts too much, I must have eaten something bad, the food here is too rich!"

Ivan looked at the corner next to him, grabbing his waistband and trying to walk towards it, as if about to take off his pants.

"No, no, you can't do that here! Otherwise, the overseer's whip will make you wish you were dead!"

The old slave immediately shouted to stop him,

"There's a toilet over there, that's the place to go, hurry!"

"Alright, alright!"

Ivan shouted back, the pain in his stomach preventing him from thinking, and he quickly ran to the toilet.

Once inside the toilet, Ivan glanced around and, seeing no one, the painful expression instantly disappeared.

He looked outside briefly, and after confirming no one was around, he quietly took out a piece of cloth and began drawing something with charcoal on it.

"Here is the slave area, here is the civilian area, northeast direction is off-limits, likely the barracks, and the northwest... only the northwest is left unexplored."

Ivan secretly hid the cloth, got up, and walked out of the toilet.

He carefully observed his surroundings to ensure no one was around, and quietly made his way to the northwest direction.

After taking just a few steps, he saw a wooden sign with a large X drawn on it.

Ahead was an area enclosed by spiked fences, obscuring what was inside.

Ivan could only faintly hear deafening shouts from within.

"Is this the barracks?"

Ivan pondered for a moment and immediately became interested.

He cautiously surveyed the area, and seeing no one, nimbly climbed over the edge of the fence.

Ivan's footsteps were light, and upon landing on the ground, he quickly sought a place to hide himself.

What appeared before him was a vast training ground with wooden targets, stone slabs, and some strange wooden frames.

Ivan knew the stone slabs were used by soldiers for strength training, but what were the wooden posts and frames for?

Ivan was filled with confusion, but that wasn't his mission.

As long as he confirmed this was a military camp, he was satisfied.

Next, he needed to ascertain the size of the army, which he could roughly estimate from the number of buildings and the items inside.

Ivan quietly moved to a corner, then crouched behind a stone slab and again took out the cloth to jot down notes.

Just as he was focused on recording, a shadow appeared above his head...

"You're drawing happily?"

"Of course, no, I,"

Ivan raised his head to see the figure of a robust man appear before him,

"I accidentally wandered in by mistake..."

Before he could finish, the man's fist came crashing down heavily on the back of his head.

Ivan's vision went black, and he immediately fainted.

When Ivan next opened his eyes, he was being escorted into a warm and spacious hall.

In front of him was a handsome blond youth.

"I'm sorry, Lord, I accidentally got lost and walked in, please let me go!"

Ivan immediately realized the boy's identity and knelt on the ground, begging for mercy.

"Lost?"

The boy, naturally, was Lord Rod, squinting as he looked at Ivan,

"Can getting lost make you climb over the fence?"

This Ivan was one of the seven people added later as mentioned by the refugee village chief, and the guards had been watching him for a long time.

The slave watching Ivan was also carefully chosen.

Rod looked at this man, who was a few years older than himself, without wasting words, and directly said to Gang Le: "Use torture first, once he's compliant then question him."

Rod disliked wasting time, with many matters to handle, he needed answers quickly.

Completing the torture first then questioning would make things much simpler.

"No problem, my lord!"

Gang Le grinned, drawing out a dagger.

"No, sir, Lord, I'll tell you everything!"

Ivan shouted loudly.

Rod sneered.

This guy couldn't be considered elite, he had already caved in before anything started.

Rod couldn't help but admit, up until now, Chris still held his ground.

Though Chris might be somewhat arrogant, he retained some knightly qualities compared to ordinary people.

"Who sent you, what is your mission?" Rod asked without hesitation.

"Lord, it wasn't me, I didn't want to come, but my family has been captured!"

Ivan looked pained: "My entire family was captured, I had no choice but to follow their orders to gather information on your territory..."

"I'm asking who sent you." Rod frowned, "I don't want to hear other nonsense."

"I, I don't know them, I don't know who they are..."

Ivan stammered, explaining: "They covered my eyes after capturing me, ordering me to infiltrate here and learn everything about Frost Leaf Town.

I only know they're very curious about your territory's situation, I really don't know anything else."

"Unwilling to say?"

Rod gestured, and Gang Le quickly stepped forward to hold Ivan down, pinning his hand to the chair.

"Sir, no, no! I really don't know who sent me, I don't know them!"

"I'm just a rat from Border City, I had just stolen a wallet when I got caught!"

"They blindfolded me and took me to a dark room! They also captured my father and sister!"

"Everything I'm saying is true!"

"They were very generous, after I agreed they gave my father five gold coins!"

"Oh right, Lord, I smelled roses and heard a woman's voice!"

Ivan emphasized loudly, "While I was blindfolded, I heard a woman's voice, moreover that woman seemed to be the leader!"

Ivan frantically shouted out all the information he could think of.

Rod waved his hand, signaling Gang Le to stop.
