Chapter 643: Akiro
“Grandfather, can you use your abilities to let us in?”
“Yes, but we were close once. When we approached the inner zone, I felt something. Something very frightening.”
“What thing?”
“I don’t know. It sensed us, so we retreated and waited for you all.”
“Then we’ll take the foundation stone first,” Hopkins said. “And then we’ll avenge Brighton, Daris, and Jack.”
“Jack is such a cute kid but they could bear to kill him,” Torila huffed.
“Hey, where’s Akiro? Where did Akiro go?” Grandfather suddenly realized that Akiro was gone.
“Oh, no. He wouldn’t have gone to find the Supernatural Organization, right?”
“D*mmit. He was best friends with Jack.”
“Hurry and chase him back. Don’t let anything happen to him.”
“It’s too late.”
“What can we do now?”
“Get the foundation stone first,” Hopkins said calmly. “Anyway, Akiro might be strong enough to defeat the Supernatural Organization. At least, he’ll be able to survive.”
“But Akiro is a bit dumb, just like Jack.”
“There’s no helping that,” Hopkins said. “It’s the side effect for distortion magic.”
Torila’s eyes flashed, but she didn’t refute him.
“If they dare to hurt Akiro, I won’t forgive them,” Grandfather said through clenched teeth.
But he also didn’t object to getting the foundation stone first.
…
Akiro arrived outside the Supernatural Organization and hid in the woods.
He looked at the headquarters from afar.
He took out a knife with strange patterns drawn on it and slashed his palm. Blood spilled out instantly.
“Wanderer from the world of darkness, I use the blood of the living as my most fervent offering. Please bestow upon me indestructible power.”
Blood dripped onto the ground and gray threads started rising up. They dug into Akiro’s body.
“Ah…” He felt power replenishing his body.
Akiro’s body felt extremely refreshed. This power sent him to cloud nine.
“This power is so memorable.” Akiro’s fingers cracked.
Suddenly, an evil spirit that was floating around discovered Akiro. “Who are you?”
Akiro pounced on the evil spirit.
The evil spirit didn’t have time to dodge and was thrown to the ground.
Akiro bit the evil spirit.
Amidst pained cries, the evil spirit was torn to pieces.
Then Akiro strode toward the headquarters.
“Halt. Who are you?” Seeing Akiro walking over, Ados immediately stopped him.
Akiro opened his mouth. Its width far surpassed human limits and his mouth was filled with fangs.
Ados was terrified and ran for his life, almost on all fours.
“Help…monster…help!”
By now the people in the headquarters heard Ados and ran out.
When they saw Akiro, they were all shocked.
“What is that?”
“Is it Distortion?”
Everyone’s expressions grew serious.
If it was Distortion, then they would be in trouble.
Distortion magic was gaining extreme power from a certain sacrifice.
The more you did it, the greater the power you receive.
However, it was called Distortion because it distorted the user’s soul and body.
The more you used it, the closer your soul got to a monster.
In the end, you would be distorted into a true monster.
Many of the magical creatures hidden around the world were evolved from humans.
Right now, other than his limbs and body, it was impossible to tell that Akiro was human from his facial features.
“Who is Engelite?” Akiro rasped out, opening his mouth.
Everyone looked toward Engelite and he was almost pissing his pants.
Could they not do that?
“You killed Jack?”
“Jack? Who?” Engelite was utterly confused.
Who’s Jack? You got the wrong guy!
“You forgot him so quickly? He’s my brother. The one who used metal magic. His arm was broken and his neck was snapped. Do you remember now?”
“I didn’t kill him… The president killed him!” Engelite cried hurriedly. “Kid, our president is really powerful. You better escape before he gets back.”
“Yeah… Right…” West chimed in. “If our president gets back, you’re dead.”
But really, they were just putting up an act.
They didn’t know if Chen Zhao could take care of this monster.
But they did know that all of them put together couldn’t do it.
“Yeah, our president is undefeatable!” Ados called out too.
Everyone was gulping inside. Akiro looked too scary.
“Then call him over. I’ll rip him apart before all of you.”
“You better not regret it…”
“Hurry up!” Akiro growled.
A bloody wind swept up before them all.
Even the proud Jollinash didn’t dare to move.
Akiro was terrifying. He emanated an unsettling aura.
“H…hello…P-President…” West said to his phone with trembling hands.
“Hi, I’m too busy to answer the phone now, but you can leave a message. I’ll call you back later.”
Everyone’s expression stiffened. He wasn’t here at this time?
Was this on purpose?
Everyone looked at Akiro fearfully. They felt like he would rip them apart the next second.
“Since he can’t come, then I’ll go look for him,” Akiro said.
“Mr. West, can you please bring this…this sir to find the president?” Engelite asked.
West clenched his teeth hatefully and stared at Akiro.
“You bring me to him. Everyone else, wait to meet your president in Hell.”
“Wait…” Engelite cried out. “I suddenly feel like I should watch you fight with our president. I’m sure it’ll be a spectacular fight!”
“I think so too. Sir… Shouldn’t you defeat our president before all of us?”
“That’s right. You’ll see your president kneel before us and beg me, haha…” Akiro started laughing maniacally.
Everyone’s expression was uncomfortable. Akiro’s aura was getting stronger.
They all had goosebumps and hoped that their president wouldn’t disappoint.
Otherwise, the Supernatural Organization really would be disbanded.
