​However, the Void Scourge demonstrated its terrifying, unique defense: it devoured all of the energy inside its swirling belly. Its belly swelled slightly, looking momentarily unstable, but seconds later, it managed to shoot back some of the attack from its maw, weaponizing the energy it had just consumed.

​Celestine, caught off guard by the reversed attack, suffered damage to her right shoulder. Her damage was minuscule, but the returned blast of annihilation energy struck a nearby High-Rise building.

​The building, full of innocent civilians, immediately began to shake violently, signaling an imminent collapse.

This was not the chaotic sucking of the worm, but the crushing, structured gravity of an absolute cosmic entity.

​The Creature's swirling face froze in a silent shriek of terror and recognition; it was facing its ultimate predator. The two vortices met, but the Worm's chaotic power was instantly overwhelmed and absorbed by the raw, organized gravitational hunger of Vahn's core.

​The very City shook with vibration as the Void Worm along with the surrounding cars, asphalt, and debris got violently devoured within the Infinite Void.

​The area where the creature stood was instantly wiped clean, leaving only scorched earth and a terrifying, localized gravitational anomaly.

Nevertheless, the threat was annihilated.

The Void Worm was gone.

​Celestine immediately released the high-rise building, which settled with a groan, temporarily saved. She rushed toward Vahn, whose Void power had utterly vanished.

​The sudden, intense strain on his soul, coupled with the forced, massive exertion of the Void Dragon Ultimate power, was too much.

Vahn's eyes rolled back, and he lost consciousness, his body slumping to the ground.

​By then, the sheer shockwave and the intense spiritual drain from the clash of the two ultimate Void energies had caused most of the surviving crowd, fleeing or hiding, to also faint instantly, protecting them from witnessing the aftermath.

In the far sky, the sound of military helicopters and aircrafts echoed like the thunder of doomsday. The powerful gravitational anomaly and the sudden destruction of a major city block were too great to go unnoticed by the mundane powers of Earth.
