Heretic Trainer: The Gym Is My Cultivation Method

Chapter 158: Garion’s Motivational Torture

Grarion then moved toward the twins, who were training the other group of elders.

Rynar was shouting encouragement at the group of elders that were struggling with weighted squats.

"Come on, elder! You said you were the proud and strong second realm cultivators! But now you can't even do a squat without whining like little babies!"

One elder yelled back, face red with anger.

"Your barbell is just too heavy for us! This is impossible for normal people to lift!"

Rynar just laughed.

"But you're not normal people, but the great cultivators! And if it's heavy, that means that it works! Now do five more reps!"

Garion nodded approvingly, seeing how Rynar coached the elder.

"Nice energy, Rynar. Keep it up. Push them, but watch their knees. We don't want any injuries on day one."

Rynar nodded quickly. "Got it, Master."

Then Garion turned to Rynor's side.

He had made both elders do planks. Both of the elders were trembling, their arms shaking as Rynor counted down.

"Five more seconds! Keep it up! Don't go down!"

The elders shouted in anger. "That's too long! Our arms are already shaking!"

Ryunor crouched beside them with a grin.

"No, it's not! You're just discovering your limit! Just keep it up! You'll thank me later!"

Both elders groaned as they tried to keep their bodies up, not falling.

Garion smiled as he looked at the grin on Rynor's face. "You're enjoying this too much."

Rynor turned around and saw Garion. "Of course, they said our path was nonsense yesterday."

He grinned, cracking his knuckles. "So today, I'll let them know how good our path is by doing some planks."

Garion nodded, tapping his shoulder. "Good attitude. But make sure they don't collapse completely."

Rynor saluted jokingly. "Yes, Master Trainer!"

Garion walked a bit further toward the treadmill where Rachel was jogging slowly.

She was drenched in sweat but smiling faintly. Garion approached her and asked.

"Feeling better?"

Rachel nodded between breaths. "A bit... I didn't realize a simple run could be this hard and good at the same time."

Garion smiled, nodding.

"That's how it starts. Don't overdo it today. Just let your body adjust first. You'll notice an even bigger difference later."

Rachel looked up to him with a smile. "Thank you, Garion. I'll do my best."

Garion nodded. "No problem, and also remember to keep your breathing steady. Don't rush it."

As he turned back toward the main hall, a loud yell came from the twins' side.

Rynar was shouting. "Push harder! Don't stop now!"

Rynor also did the same. "If you fall, you start again from zero!"

The eldera wailed in protest, but they were just too tired to even let out their voices.

Garion stood in the center of the hall, watching everything.

The once proud elders were now struggling as his disciples confidently trained them.

Even Raviel was still groaning on the floor, seeing the squat rack like it was his mortal enemy.

Garion chuckled and turned toward his disciples and called them. "Dahlia, Rynar, and Rynor. Come here."

The three of them walked over, still looking fresh compared to the exhausted elders.

Garion smiled as he asked them. "What do you think about our guests' performance?"

Dahlia didn't even hesitate and bluntly answered. "They're too weak, Master. I thought they were strong cultivators."

Rynar nodded, agreeing with her. "Yeah, they can't even finish a proper warm-up without gasping for air."

Rynor snickered. "If this keeps up, the clan might rename them as the Weak Revalis Grandpas."

Garion laughed. "Alright, alright. Don't bully them too much. They're not used to this kind of training yet."

He looked toward the elders, most of whom were still lying on the floor, catching their breath.

"I think they need more than cheering... What they need is a little more motivation."

Dahlua raised an eyebrow. "What kind of motivation, Master?"

Garion grinned. "The kind that makes them realize how far behind and weak they really are."

The twins looked at each other.

It sounds like their cup of tea, but when their master said it, it was a bit suspicious.

Garion turned toward the middle of the hall and clapped his hands, shouting loudly.

"Everyone! Watch closely!"

The exhausted elders lifted their heads. Even Raviel sat up halfway, frowning.

"What now?"

Garion smirked as he gestured toward Dahlia and the tins.

"Now, I'll show you a little performance to show you just how strong we really are."

He turned back to Dahlia and the twins, smirking wide.

"The three of you are going to demonstrate the big three, which are the bench press, squats, and deadlifts."

All three of them froze instantly.

Dahlua blinked. "Wait... What?"

Rynar's jaw dropped. "Master, seriously?"

Rynor frowned. "You mean the thing that you said would make our legs feel like jelly after?"

Garion nodded cheerfully. "Exactly. It's the best way to show them how good you really are."

He then put his hands on his shoulders. "Don't worry, you're not doing sets. Just one rep each."

Dahlia stared at him. "One rep of what weight, exactly?"

Garion grinned, walking toward the bench press setup. "Three hundred kilos."

All three of them were shocked as they shouted the numbers again.

"THREE HUNDRED?!"

Garion began loading the plates anyway, each one clinking loudly as it slid onto the barbell.

"You'll be fine. Trust your training. You've been strengthening your entire body through the [God Physique Path]."

The elders started whispering among themselves, disbelief spreading across their faces.

"Three hundred kilos? Impossible…"

"They'll break their bones!"

"Is he insane?"

Raviel crossed his arms and smirked. "No, he's just Garion. You'll get used to it."

Garion stood beside the now-loaded barbell and motioned to the twins.

"Rynar, you first. Let's show them how the real disciple of God Gym does it."

Rynar gulped, walking toward the bench. "Master, I swear, if this thing crushes me..."

Garion chuckled. "It won't. I'll spot you. Just focus."

Rynar lay down on the bench, gripping the bar tightly.

His muscles tensed as Garion helped him lift the weight off the rack. The bar wobbled slightly in the air.

Garion kept it steady and shouted. "Now push!"
