Raviel lowered his raised hand slowly, and the massive sword of flame and thunder floating above started to descend.
Everyone who watched it from the arena's screen even felt the pressure from it.
The enormous sword tilted forward and shot down toward Garion like a falling meteor.
Garion didn't move at all. He even smirked as the shadow of the sword grew larger.
He exhaled slowly, lowering his stance and focusing all his mana into his right arm and legs.
His mana began to surge, running through every cell in his body, making his right fist and legs glow faintly.
The moment the sword came down, Garion shot forward to the air and met it head-on.
His roar echoed through the open field as he pointed his fist to the tip of the sword.
"HAAAAAH!"
The punch landed straight on the tip of the sword as they clashed head-to-head.
BOOM!
A deafening explosion shook the entire area. The shockwave rippled through the ground, sending debris flying in all directions.
The huge sword shuddered, cracks began to spread across its surface, and the flame and thunder burst uncontrollably.
Raviel's eyes widened in an instant.
"What!?"
Elders from the clan watching through the magic screen all stood up in disbelief.
"How can this be?!"
"That's impossible!"
"He cracked a full-power spell with his bare hands!"
Garion kept pushing, clenching his teeth. He ignored the flame and thunder that burned, searing his skin.
"BREAK!"
The cracks spread faster around the sword body, and with a loud snap...
The entire sword shattered into countless fragments of flame and lightning that scattered into the air before fading away.
The arena quickly went silent.
Garion fell back on the ground, trying to fix his breathing.
His right hand was covered with blackened skin all over the place, and also blood running down his hands.
But there was not a frown on his face. Instead, a huge grin was etched on it.
He opened and closed his fist once, trying to remember that feeling again... when he destroyed that spell.
"This is really exhilarating and exciting."
Up in the sky, the recording orb zoomed in, showing his injured hand clearly.
Gasps spread across the watching crowd, as they couldn't believe Garion's injuries were just that after shattering that terrifying spell.
Raviel lowered his arm. His expression was a mix of shock and excitement.
"Garion… unbelievable. I never thought you could actually break it."
Garion smirked, fixing his breath.
"You said you wanted to see what I could do, right? Well, there's your answer."
Raviel grinned sharply, shaking his head.
"Now I understand why your disciples fight the way they do. There is no fear or even hesitation."
He looked Garion straight in the eyes.
"It also explains why so many sets want you dead. You're completely insane."
Garion flexed his burned hand once, blood dripping onto the cracked ground.
"Insanity works better to scare others and cheered up my sect."
Raviel chuckled, though his tone turned serious again.
"Then let's see just how far that insanity can go."
He spread his arms wide, mana rising sharply.
"Time for you to face the Third Realm, Garion."
Garion grinned. "I've been waiting for this."
But Raviel raised one finger.
"Before we continue, let me tell you something interesting."
Garion tilted his head slightly.
"What kind of something?"
Raviel smiled faintly.
"The truth about the third realm and this world."
Garion stayed silent, curious.
Ravuel continued.
"The third realm, or [Domain Realm], isn't just another step in cultivation. It's the current peak of our world."
Garion raised an eyebrow.
"So... no one has gone further? Maybe like the fourth realm."
Raviel only laughed hearing that.
"Fourth Realm? Don't even think about that yet. Even the strongest alive today haven't reached the limit of the Third."
Garion nodded slowly, his tone thoughtful.
"I see... Then what makes it so special? What makes it the peak?"
Raviel's grin widened.
"Two facts. Firstly, there are very few who ever reach it. And secondly, those who do become gods."
Garion's eyes narrowed slightly.
"Gods, huh? Because of the domain, right? You create an area that bends to your will... a space only you control."
Raviel laughed.
"Exactly. You could say that's one reason."
He stepped closer, his aura growing heavier.
"But that's not all."
The air began to hum faintly, and the wind vanished completely.
"The real reason is because... we become something that mortals cannot stand before."
Garion frowned.
"What do you mean?"
Raviel didn't answer. He simply raised his hand, and the world around them suddenly shifted.
The air turned dense, pressing down from every direction.
Garion's body froze for a moment before his knees bent slightly under the pressure.
He gritted his teeth. "What... is this?"
Raviel looked down at him.
"We are gods because mortals cannot look directly at us. All who stand before a god must kneel."
The pressure doubled. The ground under Garion cracked as his body shook from the weight, forcing him to one knee.
Garion's jaw tightened as he tried to stand, straining every muscle, but it was no use.
"So this... is domain pressure."
Raviel smiled.
"This is only the beginning. I've barely used my power."
Raviel smiled.
"This is only the beginning. I've barely opened it."
He raised one hand, explaining as he spoke.
"The Third Realm has stages. I'm only at the [Formation Stage], the second step. My domain only covers a meter around me."
Garion managed to lift his head, glaring up.
"One meter and only at the second stage, and it's already this strong...?"
Raviel nodded proudly.
"Within that meter, I am absolute. Every element was under my command."
He lifted his hand slightly, his fingers glowing.
"And unlike the second realm, where you need to control your spells, the third realm allows you to shape mana freely."
He snapped his fingers once.
Instantly, several flame-and-thunder swords appeared in the air, all pointing straight at Garion from every direction.
"You just need to imagine it... because when you're a god..."
He raised his hand again and quite proudly.
"Your imagination becomes the reality."
