Dahlia stood in an open field, facing the two remaining enemies.
One wore gleaming, heavy iron gauntlets, and the other carried a spiked mace that burned faintly.
She only grinned, cracking her neck. "It seems that both of your friends are already down."
The two men didn't flinch at all after hearing that, as if it didn't even matter.
"Don't think beating the two of them means anything," the gauntlets user growled.
"They were only Stabilization Stage cultivators. We're not weak like them."
The mace user grinned widely, agreeing with him.
"Yes, and unlike them, we're Awakening Stage cultivators, little girl. You are not even close to our level."
Dahlia tilted her head and smirked, pointing to herself.
"Awakening Stage cultivators, huh? And you still got your asses kicked by a little girl like me."
The two men frowned as one spat, the other gritted his teeth.
"We weren't ready before, but now, we will make sure that you stay down."
Dahlia's grin didn't fade as she cracked her knuckles and rolled her shoulders.
"If that's the case... then let's see just how strong you really are, then... stupid bastards."
Both of them frowned even more as they, without wasting any time, charged together at Dahlia.
The gauntlet user's fists glowed faintly brown as mana pulsed through them.
"Stonebreaker Fist!"
He slammed down with both arms, and the earth beneath Dahlia erupted.
Dahlia stepped aside lightly, managed to dodge it by an inch, but still, it was strong enough to leave a crater.
She then noticed that the mace user came swinging from the right.
"Infernal Swing!" he shouted.
Dahlia twisted and ducked as the flame-covered mace passed by her, but the flame managed to brush past Dahlia's cheek, burning the edge of her jacket.
Dahlia frowned as she looked at her own burned jacket. "Damn... that's hot!"
Then, she directly lunged forward before they could recover, grabbing the mace wielder's arm mid swing.
Her grip tightened like a vice, and with a twist of her hips, she threw him over her shoulder and slammed him into the ground hard, cracking the ground.
The mace wielder coughted violently, his flaming mace flcked out slowly.
"What the hell? What kind of move is that? How can you use that stupid move as a girl?!"
Dahlia tilted her head, smirking widely.
"It's just a simple move that my Master taught me and also... stupid or not, it managed to beat you, right?"
Before she could continue, the gauntlet user charged into her again, stomping the ground hard.
"Pulse Quake Step!"
The ground trembled violently, throwing her off balance for a second.
Then he used the opening to throw a heavy punch toward her ribs.
But to his surprise, Dahlia caught it with both hands. She then twisted his wrist inward and pulled him closer.
She then slammed her knee right to his stomach, making him gasp for air.
"Your punch is just too stiff and too easy to catch and counter."
She turned, hooked her leg behind his, and threw him backwards with a clean sweep, flipping him over his hip and crashing him down flat.
The man grunted in pain, coughing blood. "You... just what the hell is this strange technique?"
Dahlia smirked. "The kind that can be used easily against stupid people like you."
The mace wielder stood up again, wiping blood from his mouth, fury burning in his eyes.
"Flame Maul Impact!"
He covered his mace with flame mana again and dashed forward.
The mace came down fast, and Dahlia barely sidestepped, making the explosion still burn through her sleeve.
But still, in that moment, Dahlia quickly grabbed his arm mid-swing, locked it under her shoulder, and turned sharply.
Her elbow crushed into his chest before she bent low and hurled him to another man like a rice sack.
Both of them crashed together, rolling across the dirt like some rocks.
The two struggled to get up, and Dahlia took the chance to walk closer and began to mock them.
"Both of you guys had strong power, but it's too bad that you're just too stupid and too predictable to use it."
The gauntlet's user clenched his fists in anger, veins bulging.
"What did you say just now?"
Dahlia tilted her head, smirking.
"You heard me. All that power, and not a single brain cell to back it up."
His face twisted with rage as he pulled his arm back and punched the ground hard.
"Then let's see if you can mock this, too. Stonebreaker Fist!"
Shockwaves burst outward again, but Dahlia jumped over them, twisting midair.
When she landed, her leg hooked around his neck.
She then dropped her weight, dragging him down into a spinning motion to slam him down face-first to the ground hard.
"Ground Lock!"
She didn't let go and tightened her leg hold around his neck until he stopped moving.
Then she rolled aside, barely dodging a surprise fiery swing aimed at her back.
The mace wielder roared in anger, seeing her dodging his attack.
"Damn you! Just stay down and die!"
Dahlia only chuckled as she stepped in, ducking under his horizontal swing.
She shot her hand up, grabbing his wrist while the other hand pushed against his shoulder.
She pivoted, using his own momentum to flip him completely over her back, crashing him down hard.
Before he could get up, Dahlia planted her knee into his chest and slammed her elbow down on his throat.
His neck was quickly broken, stopping his breath and his eyes wide in shock.
Dahlia stood up slowly, brushing dirt from her torn and burned clothes, but her grin never faded, glancing down at both corpses.
"You two were strong, but too bad they you relied too much on mana and not enough on your own fighting styles. You all are just too predictable."
She sighed, rubbing the back of her neck, looking toward the clearing, where Arden and the others fought.
"It seems Master's gift won't just be demonic boar tonight... there'll be other surprise gifts too."
She turned and started walking back, dragging both corpses to the clearing.
