Althea's face turned cold instantly. "You call Junior Brother Ethan a rat?"

Her tone sharpened, murderous intent flaring violently from her eyes.

Morwen chuckled softly. "Are you angry? It seems you hold Ethan in high regard indeed. Very well, that pleases me."

She lifted her hand in amusement. "Today, I will feast on you. There is no greater pleasure than to hunt the geniuses of mankind, slay them, and collect their palms as trophies."

Her lips curled into a twisted smile. "Your palm is exquisite—I will savor it for sure."

"Is she truly a saint from the Black Demon Sect?"

Althea's elegance faded as fierce determination ignited within. "If you want to kill me, you must prove you have the strength!"

Morwen's smile widened, almost playful. "Four commanders, the two puppets, and the old immortal from the Dao Sect—I leave them in your hands. I alone will take care of Althea."

"Understood!" The four commanders answered in unison, their eyes blazing with fierce intent.

"Old man, your time has ended. Today, the four of us will send you to the underworld!" Dael declared, his momentum surging sharply.

The others matched his intensity, their battle a full-force onslaught targeting Marlon.

Althea's mind moved rapidly, the spiritual crystals at the core of her golden and silver Mahayana puppets igniting with fierce energy. Their eyes blazed as they sprang to life.

The four commanders united their power, launching a crushing assault on Marlon and the two Mahayana realm puppets.

The sky itself became a battlefield as spiritual energy collided with dense demonic power.

Thunderous explosions tore the night's silence into shards as spatial rifts cracked open around them.

A long bloody sword materialized in her hand, ominous and alive with terrible power.

Althea instantly realized this weapon was far beyond mortal; a sword shaped by violence, soaked in bloodlust.

"I've heard you were born with a natural sword body and are extraordinarily skilled with the sword. Let's see if you can withstand my Blood Killing Sword," Morwen challenged.

The sword intent surged; black demonic energy crawled like veins across the blade. The blood-red flame burned hotter, the sword's aura even more menacing.

"This blade alone can end your life!" Morwen declared defiantly.

In an instant, Morwen vanished, and a bloody afterimage streaked toward Althea.

"The Setting Blood Sun!"

Morwen's attack hammered forward, the bloody sword energy rushing out like a scarlet tidal wave.

Althea tightened her grip, her long sword raised before her eyes. With a swift movement, her fingers traced the blade's edge.

Her eyes blazed with silver light as sword intent erupted fiercely.

"Silver Blade Lotus!"

Her sword intent blossomed like a shining moon at night, silver and pure.

The two energies—Morwen's crimson blood light intent and Althea's shimmering silver sword intent—clashed violently in the dark sky.

Bang!

The clash shattered the quiet with a symphony of ringing steel, like a swarm of bees in furious dance.

The bloody sword light weaved through the silver blade energy, before detonating in a fiery explosion that lit the night like a blooming lotus.

"Is this your so-called one-step solution?" Althea stepped back, her voice icy cold.

Morwen smiled disdainfully. "You were born with the natural sword body and your sword intent has already formed a realm. You're more capable than I expected."

"But do you think you can win by blocking my sword?" she scoffed.

"My earlier strikes were but tests," Morwen confessed. "Look behind you."

Althea glanced over and caught sight of the brutal battle unfolding behind her.

Her golden and silver puppets, along with Mr. Marlon, were locked in fierce combat against the four Mahayana realm commanders.

Though Marlon fought valiantly and the puppets pressed on, the enemy's combined strength was overwhelming.

The advantage shifted rapidly; Marlon and the puppets were pushed back into defensive postures, no longer able to launch counterattacks.

"The Black Demon Sect has truly prepared well. Neither the puppets nor Mr. Marlon can resist long," Althea's mind raced.

"If we want to escape this alive, I might have to unlock the restrictions on my bloodline power." Her brow furrowed.

Althea was not from Skyreach Territory. She hailed from a hidden ancient family in the White North of the Oceanreach continent.

Bound by strict clan laws and unwilling to marry as ordered, she had sealed her bloodline power secretly and fled.

Upon arriving at Skyreach, she had maintained a low profile by joining the Azure Origin Dao Sect.

Although not the strongest sect, it afforded her freedom and influence.

"Unlock the seal, unleash my bloodline power; reaching the fifth turn Mahayana realm's strength will be easy."

"But unlocking it means the clan will sense me. They will surely send men to bring me back."

"But unless I act, Marlon and I will surely perish today," she muttered, conflicted.
