Apocalypse: My Talent Is Infinite

Chapter 79: Rebate

Suddenly, a crisp notification rang in his mind.

[Cultivated for 2 hours 4 minutes. 100× Rebate activated…]

Aron felt a massive surge of energy flood straight into his heart.

Moments later...

He let out a deep sigh.

"Ahhhh…"

(I almost forgot about that.)

But he wasn't as excited as he thought he'd be.

Even with his cultivation speed increased by a hundredfold, his calculations weren't encouraging.

At this rate, he'd only be able to break through to the next realm in two or three months, and that was if he cultivated nonstop, without eating or drinking.

Which, frankly, was far too long.

Even if he stayed patient and broke through eventually, he knew from experience that ascension only got harder the higher you climbed.

If the starting point already needed three months with his cheat talent, who knew how long the next ones would take? Ten years? A hundred? A century?

And if that was true, then the dream of becoming an untouchable existence that defied all belief would remain just that, a dream.

Aron clenched his fists. "No way. I can't keep going like this."

He intended to reach that goal within a year, and he had no qualms about declaring it.

Aron checked his status and blinked in surprise. Breaking into the Foundation Realm had increased his lifespan by a whole ten thousand years.

"Ten thousand…" He let out a low whistle.

An increase of ten thousand years was exaggerated, to say the least, but he wasn't complaining.

He hadn't expected that much. Honestly, he'd hoped for a hundredfold increase, but apparently, the system had other ideas.

"Greedy much," he muttered, shaking his head. "Still, who's gonna complain about more?"

Aron stood up, stretching his shoulders.

He decided to finish off the Zulcan and leave this space.

He needed to find a way to accelerate his growth, because at this rate, he'd grow old waiting to get stronger.

Maybe his aptitude for cultivation wasn't great, or maybe he'd just grown too used to the simplicity of leveling up.

Either way, one thing was certain, he needed a faster way to grow stronger.

Strength came first. Knowledge could come later.

Because if the lifespan boost he'd received was what other cultivators in this world got too… then he was surrounded by some terrifying old monsters.

Lost in thought, Aron exited the tent and walked toward the skewered Zulcan.

He was about to deliver a final blow to it when a sudden thought struck him, his heart began to race, excitement surging through his veins.

(Why haven't I thought of this before?!)

His gaze shifted toward his clones, who had surrounded the Zulcan to prevent any complications.

Aron's lips curled into a slow, wide grin.

Back in Solara, when his clones had killed enemies, the EXP had transferred to him.

True, they couldn't use his talents directly, but they could do everything else.

They followed his orders, shared his memories, and acted as perfect extensions of himself.

Without wasting another second, Aron call forth all thirty clones.

They appeared in a flash, sitting cross-legged around him as he shared the cultivation technique with them.

"Cultivate," he commanded.

Immediately, the Yin-Yang energy in the air began to swirl and flow into their bodies.

Aron watched in awe as each clone absorbed the energy into their hearts, their auras rising steadily, faint but tangible.

After several minutes, Aron gave the order to stop.

The clones obeyed instantly.

The Yin-Yang energy they'd gathered within their hearts dissipated, vanishing into some invisible void as their power reverted to normal.

Aron instantly became disappointed

(Well there goes not...)

But before his thoughts completed, several flood of notifications echoed in his mind.

[Cultivated for 5 minutes. 100× Rebate Activated: 8 hours 20 minutes]

Aron's body trembled as wave after wave of energy surged into him, flooding his heart.

His aura flared wildly, light and shadow intertwining around him as he broke through yet another barrier.

"Hahahahaha!"

Aron threw his head back, laughing hysterically. "I'm a genius! I'm a fcking* genius!"

He laughed so hard his stomach hurt, eyes gleaming with satisfaction. After a while, he took a deep breath and calmed down.

Then he unsummoned all his clones, only to resummon them back again.

"Inspection," he muttered.

Aron released a deep sigh of relief.

For a moment, he'd worried that the cultivation realm wouldn't transfer to his clones.

But seeing that it had, he was ecstatic.

Now, he could simply resummon them whenever he advanced, keeping them perfectly in sync, and in turn, multiply his cultivation output infinitely.

His mood hit an all-time high as his gaze shifted to one last detail in his status, the ability upgrade he'd left unused earlier.

This time, he knew exactly where to use it.

His smile widened, sharp and confident, as his eyes locked onto the Clone Ability.
