Super Soldier in Campus

Chapter 177: Transaction_1

"If you tussle with the police, and it results in minor injuries, it's not a major issue. However, if you seriously injure or kill a police officer, you will be held criminally liable! The Police Department will prosecute you!" Zhang Chu declared, looking at Lin Feng, enunciating each word sternly and carefully.

Hearing this, Lin Feng immediately deflated like a popped balloon. He couldn't help but lament, "Sigh, being a special agent is risky; entry into this line of work requires extreme caution. I'd rather face a god-like enemy than a pig-like teammate. I pray I don't get dragged down by one."

After speaking, he clasped his hands together in a prayer-like gesture, faced the ceiling, and made three respectful bows.

Ye Lin, who was beside him, snorted. "Are you that afraid of death?"

Lin Feng retorted, "Aren't you?"

Ye Lin replied, "Well... it depends on the situation."

Lin Feng pressed on, "How would you feel if you were killed by a teammate through their unwitting actions?"

"..." Ye Lin was rendered somewhat speechless by Lin Feng's persistent questioning. Indeed, to die for one's country, for one's family, or even for honor—that would be a death of value. But to be killed by a teammate under unclear circumstances... that would indeed be terribly unlucky.

Zhang Chu sighed. "But there's no other way at the moment. Your identity is absolutely confidential and cannot be disclosed. If you have to engage the police and can't escape, you can hide nearby or surrender. I think, in those situations, you should be fine."

"If we surrender, the reputation of us Falcon Special Agents will be ruined..." Lin Feng's words left Zhang Chu somewhat embarrassed.

He spread his hands helplessly, then offered encouragement. "Aren't you an elite member of Falcon Special Agent Elite Squad 1? I believe these things won't be a problem for you." Zhang Chu chuckled, then encouragingly patted Lin Feng's shoulder.

Lin Feng gave a bitter smile. "Coach Zhang, please stop flattering me. No matter how skilled I am, a single bullet can still send me to my grave."

On Monday, Lin Feng arrived early at the assembly point of the transport department.

All six drivers scheduled for duty were summoned. Then, Qiao Sanming temporarily collected their mobile phones, stating it was for "temporary safekeeping."

After Qiao Sanming went over some important instructions, he personally led the team. Lin Feng and the others, each driving a green cargo truck, departed from the parking lot.

Lin Feng's tracker was hidden in his sleeve, but he wasn't idle; he was memorizing the route along the way.

As the seven trucks reached the expressway entrance, a black Audi A4 was already waiting.

"Let's go!"

A head popped out from the Audi, giving instructions to Qiao Sanming.

The moment the man's head appeared, Lin Feng, who was in a truck behind, saw him clearly—it was Niu Bi!

Then, led by the Audi, the seven trucks drove onto the expressway.

Meanwhile, outside the Imperial Building, which housed the Emperor Dragon Group, dozens of plainclothes police officers had quietly taken up positions. Hundreds of pairs of eyes were monitoring the entire Emperor Dragon Building.

The police force deployed was much larger than this; they were waiting for Lin Feng to give the signal. As soon as Lin Feng made his move, the police here would also act.

At that point, key leaders from the Police Department would lead SWAT teams to instantly seal off and raid the Emperor Dragon Building.

Inside the Emperor Dragon Building, Wu Mei and Ye Lin were already liaising as instructed by their superiors.

They were closely watching several key company leaders, trying their best not to let any of them escape. If anyone attempted to leave, they would inform the plainclothes officers outside to arrest them on the spot.

After the eight vehicles exited the expressway, they drove through a mountainous area for a while, apparently taking a deliberate detour to confuse any police that might be tailing them.

Lin Feng, driving one of the trucks in the middle of the convoy, couldn't help but curse inwardly, Damn, Niu Bi is a cunning old fox... We've been driving around for five hours now. He sure can hold out. All these trucks are empty. Driving around the outskirts like this is incredibly boring.

Finally, around one o'clock in the afternoon, the Audi led the seven trucks to an abandoned seaside dock.

The abandoned dock was piled with hundreds of seemingly old wooden boxes. A white speedboat was now docked there, a place where ships rarely moored.

Four men disembarked from the speedboat; they were all foreigners with brown hair and blue eyes.

The four foreign men looked to be in their thirties. The two walking behind stood at the edge of the dock. In front of them were seven wooden boxes, identical in appearance to the other dilapidated wooden boxes scattered around the dock.

"Hello, Jack."

Niu Bi got out of the Audi and shook hands with a somewhat handsome foreigner whom he seemed to know well.

"Hello, Boss Niu. I'm glad to see you again," Jack said in awkward Chinese.

Niu Bi chuckled. "I hope we'll see each other often in the future." He smiled and then nodded at Ma Xiaojun, who was standing by the Audi.

Ma Xiaojun turned and pulled four briefcases from the Audi's trunk. With Qiao Sanming's help, they carried the briefcases over to Niu Bi.

"I brought the money, Jack. Where's your merchandise?" Niu Bi asked.

Jack gave Niu Bi a thumbs-up and praised, "Boss Niu, you really are decisive and frank. Oh, no, I mean, a straightforward person. We should collaborate often in the future, for a long, long time... So, I won't rip you off. We must both win."

Jack's Chinese was so bad it made one cringe. Hearing him, Ma Xiaojun and Qiao Sanming almost burst out laughing but managed to suppress it.

After Jack finished speaking, he snapped his fingers. The two foreigners behind him pushed eight wooden boxes forward.

"The goods, you don't need to inspect them, right? They're genuine, from South America. Really, really good stuff," Jack said, pointing to the wooden boxes behind him.

Hearing this, Niu Bi smiled faintly. "Mr. Jack, my money is right here. If you don't want to inspect the money, then I won't inspect the goods. How about that?"

"NO! NO! NO!" Jack waved his hands in refusal. "Boss Niu, well, let's just lay our cards on the table. Let's both inspect. That way, we can both be at ease, be at ease." Jack chuckled.

Subsequently, each party sent out two men to inspect the other's goods.

Qiao Sanming skillfully took a small amount of white powder from each wooden box, tasted it, then turned to Niu Bi and nodded. "Good stuff! It's genuine!"

Seeing this, Niu Bi nodded in satisfaction.

"No problems here." Similarly, after the two foreigners checked the cash in the four briefcases, they reported back to Jack.

"Alright then. It's been a pleasure doing business with you."

"A pleasure indeed."

Jack and Niu Bi shook hands again.

"All of you, get down and load these wooden boxes onto the trucks!" At that moment, Qiao Sanming ordered the drivers, including Lin Feng, who were waiting by their trucks.

Hiding the goods among these ordinary wooden boxes to transport them... clever! Lin Feng thought as he jumped down from his truck.

However, as he walked to the front and his eyes met Ma Xiaojun's, both of them froze.

Ma Xiaojun suddenly pointed at Lin Feng and yelled at Niu Bi, "Boss Niu, it's him!"
