"AH!"
"Lin Feng, I will kill you!"
In the silent Giant Wood Forest, Ye Lin's roar echoed.
The toad, its limbs flailing, had been helped by Lin Feng to land squarely on Ye Lin's crotch!
It truly was a toad lusting after a swan's flesh!
The moment the toad touched Ye Lin, she instinctively looked down. When she saw its incredibly ugly face, her petite body trembled, and she instantly flew into a rage.
With a quick leap, Ye Lin lunged at Lin Feng, furious like a raging hen.
"Hey, it was just a joke! That toad wanted to get close to you, and I was just helping it out. You stepped on it, so consider this compensation!"
Seeing Ye Lin lunge at him, Lin Feng swiftly dodged.
The two of them raced through the Giant Wood Forest, one chasing the other.
"EH?"
Lin Feng, running in the lead, spotted two people lurking in the distant trees.
Initially, he hadn't planned to bother with the two men in grey, but when he glanced back, he saw that one of them, a slightly chubby man, was holding an airdropped package!
We searched high and low for it, and here it is, falling right into our laps! That must be the package we're looking for!
Excitement surged through Lin Feng, and he immediately darted towards the two men.
"Damn, this is weird. Such a large package in this deep forest... I wonder what's inside," the chubby one of the two grey-clad men muttered. He and his companion, one fat (Fatty) and one thin, looked to be in their thirties. Each carried a rifle on his back.
"Let's open it and see. Maybe there's some treasure inside," the thin one said.
After he spoke, they both knelt and began to open the package.
"Holy crap! It's rations—compressed biscuits, apples... HUH? What's this? Could someone have dropped this?" the thin man exclaimed happily upon seeing the food. They were currently in desperate need of food.
"Dropped it, your ass! Who else would be out here, you idiot!" Fatty cursed at the thin man.
They continued to open the package and soon spotted a small red pennant at the very bottom.
"There's a flag too? Weird..." Fatty picked up the pennant. Seeing the word "Falcon" embroidered on it, he found it even more incredible.
"Boss, never mind that. We can use all this stuff. Let's just take it," the thin man suggested.
"Good idea," Fatty nodded in agreement.
"Uh, that package... it's mine."
Just as Fatty and the thin man were getting up, Lin Feng appeared in the distance.
"Damn it, who are you? Don't come any closer!"
Facing Lin Feng, who had appeared so suddenly, both Fatty and the thin man aimed their guns at him.
"I'm... a hiker. I dropped my package while exploring. Thanks for finding it, guys. Could you please return it to me?"
Seeing they had guns, Lin Feng was slightly shocked. Am I really so unlucky? Did I just run into criminals?
"A hiker? Who are you trying to fool? Stay put, or I'll shoot!" Fatty threatened.
"You... you got anything else valuable on you? Hand it all over, or... or I'll blow your brains out!" Seeing Lin Feng's small travel backpack, the thin man immediately had thoughts of robbery.
In fact, the two were robbers wanted by the police.
"I don't have anything else. I'm just a poor guy, friends. The only food I had is in that package you're holding," Lin Feng said in a pitiful tone, slowly inching closer to the two men.
"Don't move! And you, don't move either!"
Just then, Ye Lin came into Fatty and the thin man's view. The thin man immediately aimed his gun at her.
Ye Lin froze for a moment, then it dawned on her: they had run into criminals!
"Is the package they're holding the one we're looking for?" Ye Lin whispered, hands raised, standing beside Lin Feng.
"Yeah. I saw the pennant. We need to make our move fast," Lin Feng whispered back.
"And who are you?" the thin man asked Ye Lin.
"Just passing by," Ye Lin replied, an answer that almost made Lin Feng burst out laughing.
Just passing by in a primeval forest? You've got to be kidding me! Lin Feng thought.
"Stop bullshitting me! You're wearing the same clothes, carrying the same bags. You think I didn't notice?" Fatty said triumphantly. "I'll ask one last time, who are you people?"
"She's also a hiker. We came together... we're from the Falcon Hiking Team."
Afraid Ye Lin might say the wrong thing, Lin Feng quickly interjected.
Hearing this, Ye Lin glanced at Lin Feng. The Falcon Hiking Team? Only he could come up with such a lame name.
"Boss, what now?" the thin man asked Fatty. "Should we just... do them in?"
"No rush," Fatty shook his head. "We agreed to meet Brother Jie and the others here. Let's wait for him. Get the rope from your bag and tie them up."
"Okay." The thin man nodded and quickly pulled a long hemp rope from his backpack.
Lin Feng and Ye Lin, standing a short distance away, exchanged a meaningful look.
"Looks like they're going to tie us up. We can't let them," Ye Lin whispered.
"I'll take Fatty, you take the thin one. On three, we charge," Lin Feng whispered back.
"One... two..."
"Well, well, Fatty, you guys got here before us. Pretty quick, huh?"
Just as Lin Feng and Ye Lin were about to make their move, a hearty laugh came from behind them.
They turned to see a stubble-faced man and a middle-aged man in a black leather jacket emerge from the trees.
Both newcomers were holding pistols!
DAMN IT! Lin Feng cursed inwardly. He glanced at Ye Lin beside him; her expression had turned grim.
They might have been able to handle two opponents, but now there were four, and they were surrounded. This is going to be tough. After all, all four men are armed. One wrong move, and our lives could be over.
"Who are these two?" the man in the leather jacket asked curiously, looking at Lin Feng and Ye Lin.
"They claim to be hikers," Fatty replied.
"Who cares who they are? Just get rid of them so we don't leave any clues for the cops," the stubble-faced man said ruthlessly.
The man in the leather jacket walked closer, his eyes immediately locking onto Ye Lin, a lecherous expression spreading across his face.
"Kill her? What a waste... WOW, what a beauty!" His gaze drifted to Ye Lin's full bosom, and he nearly drooled.
Shameless pig! Ye Lin cursed inwardly, turning aside to avoid his predatory stare.
She was frantic. We missed our best chance to grab the package. Now there are four of them... How are we going to escape? If I fall into the hands of these four men... my fate... It doesn't bear thinking about. They would absolutely... defile me.
