I will be a demon in this life!

Chapter 138

Orcelt stared at his enemy, showing no obvious emotion, only concentration. He focused solely on his enemy; that was the path he had followed. The blades of Orcelt's dables were covered in sharp demonic energy.

Dimas had tried to heal the wound on his face, but the residual demonic energy left by Orcelt prevented him.

Dimas sighed, feeling some frustration. He had lineage, his enemy was a commoner, and yet he was forced to use the power of his crimson sword.

Dimas jumped, and Orcelt couldn't follow his movements.

Cut!

Blood!

Orcelt recoiled, but a horizontal cut had blinded him. Now he was bleeding, but even so, his demonic energy did not fluctuate.

Cut!

Blood!

Orcelt's remaining wing was cut off.

Dimas wanted to humiliate Orcelt; he felt it was his right to do so, so he jumped to sever one of Orcelt's arms.

Bang!

A shockwave spread out the instant Orcelt's sabers collided with Dimas' crimson sword.

Orcelt was not worried, he was not afraid, he was ecstatic. It was the best moment of his life. Facing a stronger swordsman always made his blood boil, and he always eliminated his opponents, so in the same way, he was prepared to die under the blade of a sword if the day came when he was not skilled enough to defeat an enemy.

Dimas felt the upward fluctuation in Orcelt's energy.

"A true demonic swordsman," thought Dimas, who backed away without thinking.

A true demonic swordsman was the equivalent of a master swordsman for humans.

"I will kill you. I will not allow you to reach that level," declared Dimas, leaping toward Orcelt.

Orcelt sensed Dimas's presence and jumped to meet him.

Bang! Bang! Bang!...

Orcelt's sabers clashed with the crimson sword.

The cutting energy emitted by Dimas' crimson sword was causing cuts on Orcelt's body, who did not hesitate and was pushing Dimas back.

...

Near the place where Dimas and Orcelt were battling, Senjar and Alastor were also fighting.

The demonic energy slashes that emerged from Alastor's metal claws did not cease, but Senjar seemed to dodge them without any trouble.

Alastor paused, wondering what was happening. His cuts should have been faster, but now Senjar was dodging them with ease.

Drops of blood!

Alastor brought his hand to his nose and saw blood coming from his nostrils. Suddenly, he heard a buzzing sound, touched his ears, and saw that they were bleeding too.

Alastor realized that the blast of energy that came from Senjar's fist had caused a shock to his head, caused by the residual energy that had dispersed throughout his head, brain, and auditory system.

Alastor looked at Senjar, who was staring at him like a predator waiting for the right moment to attack its prey.

"I must seem like a joke to you, right?" Alastor asked as he coated his metal claws with dark energy.

Senjar was an expert warrior, and the moment a higher-ranking warrior appeared, he decided to use his best attack, taking advantage of the fact that his enemy was surely feeling confident due to the large difference in power ranking. Senjar's power, produced by the shockwave of his blow, left degenerative residual energy in every corner of the interior of the place he struck, which is why he aimed the blow at his enemy's head.

Alastor jumped towards Senjar and performed four demonic energy cuts.

Senjar managed to retreat in time using the power of one of the gems on the rings on his left hand, after which the gem used cracked, leaving him with only three gems remaining.

Alastor felt his vision blurring. He knew there were only two ways to disperse an enemy's residual demonic energy: one was to force the residual demonic energy out with his own demonic energy, and the other was to kill the enemy, after which their residual demonic energy would lose stability and disperse more easily.

Alastor knew that if he tried to disperse the residual demonic energy, Senjar would attack him to interrupt him, so he chose to try to kill Senjar.

Alastor powered up his movements with his demonic energy, and the ground shook the moment he jumped.

Eight demonic energy slashes emerged from Alastor's claws as he moved with greater speed and power.

Senjar managed to dodge him again, but two gems cracked in the process, leaving him with only one.

Alastor fell to his knees, tears of blood streaming from his eyes, his nose and ears bleeding, his balance almost gone, yet he was excited, smiling. He, who had cruelly killed his adversaries, enjoyed fighting, so he used his demonic energy again to enhance his senses, his body, and his abilities. He stood up, determined to kill Senjar with his next move.

For Senjar, the battle was not just a matter of warriors, because he knew he was facing conspiratorial enemies, which is why he considered Alastor alone to be a dangerous enemy of war who must die at all costs. For that reason, Senjar had no intention of letting himself be caught by Alastor.

••••

In the middle of Marrac Mountain, in rocky, wooded, and open areas, battles raged between professors and abominable creatures.

On a plain, the abominable creatures launched fierce attacks against students and professors, but the moment they attacked their targets, their targets disappeared, and then they were struck by spears of concentrated demonic energy.

The beautiful professor Ilcia Besid was using a high-level staff that had a pink demonic gem. Her staff was named "Broken Heart" and was a gift from the Besid family.

Professor Ilcia and another professor were easily eliminating the abominable beings they were facing.

At that moment, abominable humanoid beings appeared before them and the rest of the professors, emitting a power in the sixth rank.

The abominable beings that appeared had sinister mouths with rows of fangs in different parts of their slender bodies, whose skin was red. The heads of these abominable beings had dozens of eyes and smiled sinisterly, their long fingers ending in purple claws that emitted a dark miasma.

The conspiring demons had no intention of allowing the professors time to rescue their students.
