Looking at the towering trees, Rumba couldn't help but mutter to himself, "No matter how many times I see these trees, I'm amazed every single time."
Even as he spoke, his eyes scanned the surroundings with a vigilant gaze. The same was true for the guards alert and ready.
Meanwhile, Aaron checked the map and found no immediate danger. He turned to the group and said, "I'll handle the monster hunting. You all will be responsible for transporting the corpses."
He spotted the closest red dot just 500 meters away.
Without hesitation, he took the lead.
"Follow behind," he commanded.

Cotton Town
Viscount Rudolf's Study Room
Viscount Rudolf sat in his study, his expression dark and brooding. He looked at the scout standing before him and asked in a gloomy tone, "Where is Fodo? Did you find any information about him?"
The scout wore simple clothes, a bag slung over his shoulder, a dagger at his waist, and a rope whip coiled at his side.
He replied in a flustered tone, "Lord, I think I may have found some clues… but I'm not entirely sure."
Viscount Rudolf leaned forward, urgency in his voice. "Hurry up and tell me what you found."
The scout hesitated briefly, then organized his thoughts.
"To travel to Green Fort, Sir Fodo used several stops along the way. I traced his path and found a cave about five days from here. There…"
He paused, uncertainty flickering across his face. But seeing the Viscount's increasingly grim expression, he continued.
"There, I found bones, scattered and gnawed by wild animals. But the clothing matched Sir Fodo and his soldiers. My team and I searched the area for days. They were all killed. And next to the corpses… we found arrows."
He lowered his voice, "Lord, do you know the most frightening thing I discovered?"
He leaned in slightly. "Each man was killed by a single arrow. They were running, fleeing from someone. I believe it was a master archer."
He paused again, then added, "But I'm puzzled. Why would a master archer be in such a remote place? Even if they passed through, they should've approached the Cotton Town. We might also know about their arrival from the spies."
"So… who is this mysterious master archer?"
Viscount Rudolf's face turned pale. He had planned to eliminate Baron Aaron, but now it seemed his knight team his greatest reliance had been wiped out.
Cold sweat soaked his body.
He whispered, "You may leave. And don't speak of this to anyone."
The scout bowed and exited the room, leaving Viscount Rudolf alone with his spiraling thoughts.
He vented his frustration on the furniture, but beneath the rage was a deep, gnawing fear.
His expression twisted with conflict. But in the depths of his eyes, terror had taken root.
Viscount Rudolf immediately called for his butler.
"Hurry up and prepare a carriage for me. Also, bring the golden cloth, I need to visit Lord Alaric."
The butler, an elderly man, bowed respectfully. "Okay, Master," he replied, and swiftly left to carry out the orders.
Rudolf, wasting no time, went to select the finest cloth his people had ever crafted. After packing a few rolls of fabric, he stepped into the carriage, accompanied by a small group of soldiers.
Their destination: Starfall City.

Aaron had already returned from the hunt. He had successfully taken down two Horned Rabbits and three Three-Eyed Goats. Afterward, he instructed Rumba and the others to return to the village.
Once they left, Aaron checked the map again and decided to head deeper into the Savannah Mountain Range. But then he noticed something strange, a red dot marked with a question mark, just 1,500 meters away. Worse, the distance was rapidly shrinking.
He cursed under his breath, "F*ck, why didn't I know about this!"
Without hesitation, he turned and ran.
A few minutes later.
At the spot where Aaron had just been, a Gray Wolf, towering at six meters tall, stood silently. All nearby monsters were cowering in fear, lying flat on the ground, not daring to make a sound.
The Gray Wolf sniffed the air, its eyes flickering with hesitation, and then, it turned and rushed away.
Aaron, now at a safe distance, checked the map again. The red dot was no longer chasing him.
He exhaled in relief, though his heart still pounded. "Damn it," he muttered, taking a few deep breaths to calm himself.
He realized that hunting in the Savannah Mountain Range, especially in the fog region, was extremely dangerous.
Even the map only displayed threats within 500 meters the rest remained a mystery.
He knew he needed to upgrade the map, perhaps unlock new functions to reveal deeper dangers. But for now, he had no way to do that.
So, he decided to go fishing.
Before heading out, Aaron went to find Toro. If his memory was correct, Toro had learned bone forging from the villagers.
A few minutes later.
Toro greeted him with a respectful tone, "Lord Aaron."
Aaron nodded and asked, "Mr. Toro, can you make bone arrows from monster bones?"
Toro nodded confidently. "Of course, Lord Aaron. How many do you need?"
Aaron replied, "Help me create twelve, using Tier 2 monster bones."
Toro responded, "It will take me two days to finish them."
Aaron said, "No problem. Once they're ready, send them to Kelly."
Toro nodded again, "Understood."
Aaron left the blacksmith shop and ran into Kelly. She glanced at him, and ignored him completely.
Aaron rubbed his head, confused. He shook it off and decided to go fishing.
A few minutes later, Aaron baited his fishing rod with Tier 1 monster meat and cast it into the sea.
Once again, the bait caused a commotion. Low-level fish scattered, but a lobster, nearly one meter long, emerged and grabbed the bait.
Its massive pincers tried to tear the meat away. Fortunately, the fishing rod was made from high-quality materials, or it might have snapped.
Aaron drew his bone knife, leapt onto the lobster, and plunged the blade into its head, killing it instantly.
He picked it up, it weighed at least seven to eight kilograms.
He tossed it onto the beach, rebaited the hook, and cast again. This time, nothing came.
