Saleen never expected that a water-type element spirit was capable of resurrection. But he quickly found it to be rather normal when he sat down and thought about it. A level-14 being was the most powerful being that existed on that plane. Furthermore, all of those water elemental creatures were willing to heed his command.

If it was willing, divine fire could be sparked at any given moment.

If the water type element spirit was willing, it would be able to form an incomplete divine persona and become a demigod.

If it were to become a demigod, the power of the entire plane would be put under its command. Saleen would only be able to win by destroying the level-14 divine kingdom if his family badge’s powers were completely restored.

A demigod would be capable of resurrection. Saleen had not thought of it because the water-type element spirit refused to spark the divine fire within it.

If Saleen had hesitated and not caged the ball of vermillion light with the Lightning Cage, the water-type element spirit would have kept its memories intact and would have chased Saleen down until it killed him. Killing him would prevent it from being targeted and killed again by his family badge.

The water-type element spirit would have been able to escape using Rainbow if it were in any danger, disabling Saleen from targeting it.

3,600 demonic spirits cast Tornado at the same time, scooping up the Lightning Cage back into the tower. This was done so quickly that the three venomous snakes continued to look at the tower with puzzled eyes. Their intelligence was hardly different from that of common magic beasts.

The water-type element spirit would never allow those four to develop intelligence, as their levels were not all that different. If the four huge snakes were to develop intelligence, they might revolt.

Arruu…

The water-type element spirit rammed into the cage again, causing electrical sparks to run all over the cage. Saleen looked at the water-type element spirit within the cage with a smirk and asked, “How does it feel being captured?”

“I will kill you!”

“Oh, I’m so scared!” Saleen put one hand on his chest while gesturing to Eleanor with the other.

“Saleen?”

“You won’t be able to kill this thing, so use it for practice to your heart’s content. Use up all the arrows I’ve made for you and you’ll probably get a feel of what it’s like to fight level-14 creatures.”

“What about me, master?” Nailisi was just as excited. There was no way for the water type-element spirit to escape now that it had been caged within the Lightning Cage. Even someone like her, who had Lightning Protection, would not have been able to do that. The power between the two was different.

The strength of Nailisi’s Lightning Protection skill was so weak that it could only break the magic shields of her enemies. The power of the Lightning Cage, however, enabled it to wipe out souls on the spot.

“You? Well, follow me and think of ways to subjugate those few pesky snakes out there. There should be quite a number of elemental creatures on this plane, and many other magic beasts as well, all waiting for us to bag them. Don’t you want a go at it, Nailisi?”

“I do, I do!” Nailisi chuckled and stars could be seen in her eyes. The entire plane was their hunting ground!

“Alright, yeah. Truman, take them to train your skills using the water-type element spirit. I’ll take control of the tower and hunt in this plane. No place suits me better than this place…”

Desire sparkled in Saleen’s eyes. It had been quite a while since the last time he was so worked up. The number of water elemental creatures were obnoxiously plenty and they were of decent levels. With the exception of that water-type element spirit, there were many level-12 beings to be found.

He needed quite a lot of energy to craft his own magic amplifier. It cost him a fortune to keep the 24 thunder dragons around. Not even the contents of the Oceanic Ice Block would be enough to keep the 24 thunder dragons and enable them to continuously advance.

The number of beings in that ocean plane was far higher than on Myers Mainland.

The tower sped up all of a sudden and rammed into the three level-13 snakes, angering them enough to make them attack the tower. Another ball of lightning shot out and flew around.

Saleen saw the ball of lightning target one of the snakes and strike it, reducing it to ashes and leaving nothing behind, soul and magic nucleus included.

The other two snakes knew that things were not in their favor and dove into the water, refusing to surface ever again.

Saleen had no intentions of capturing those two snakes. Their levels were too high to be of use to him. Their venom would probably pale in comparison to anything crafted by Agares.

The Magical Element Tower took to the sky and began to hunt for creatures up in the air.

Saleen’s hunting methods were simple. Anything that he found to be slow-moving, he would simply catch up to and capture it using the resilient net before throwing it into the necklace.

The 24 thunder dragons within the necklace would then pounce on the prey and eat them up.

The 24 thunder dragons within the necklace all had massive appetites. Due to the lack of food, they spent their time sleeping, only waking to feed. This time, Saleen was being very quick with his hunting since low-level elemental creatures required little effort to hunt.

He simply let the demonic spirits cast Magic Confinement, bagging a good bunch in one go.

Saleen activated his magic amplifier and enhanced the power of all his spells exponentially, making capturing low-level elemental creatures an unbelievably easy feat. The tower flew over 1000 miles and found a few creatures daring to take flight.

After that, he dropped the tower into the ocean and began hunting sea life.

Due to the presence of the water-type element spirit, no other creatures developed intelligence, making it extremely easy for Saleen to hunt them. He had no fear of making food out of intelligent life.

Saleen’s hunting speed increased. He even threw divine crystals to the demonic spirits, enabling them to speed up their mental power recovery rate. There was no need for the demonic spirits to possess magic chords to serve as enchanters.

All elemental powers were provided by the large scale magic power furnace. The demonic spirits needed only to maintain ample mental powers. If he wanted more of them, they were even able to practice magic within the vicinity of the magic net.

However, Saleen had no need for them to do so. He alone was able to control the spells cast by the demonic spirits, the magnitude of which could be amplified by the magic amplifier and be cast further away.

The usefulness of the Ring of Cosmos was fully manifested in such endeavors. Saleen kept at it for over a dozen hours and he still had mental powers to spare. After the Ring of Cosmos was restored, it was able to gradually replenish mental powers while they were being used.

That was to say that, in actual practice, Saleen’s mental powers had expanded more than 64 times.

In the context of an actual battle, Saleen’s mental powers had expanded by over 100 times.

A huge net formed around the tower. No creatures beneath level-ten would have been able to resist. The net’s diameter exceeded 100 miles. Saleen’s range of attack had expanded to about 60 miles under the effects of the magic amplifier.

A magic attack range only extended out by about ten miles in usual cases.

Saleen knew that this was due to the water elemental magic in that plane being enhanced. Having a body of water element gave him an absolute edge at fighting in that plane.

Nailisi followed Saleen to hunt everywhere. She was at the edge of the areas within the tower’s control and captured all that she was able to capture using the 12 Notes of First Purgatory. Her demons needed food, after all.

While magic bugs were packed with nutrients and high in energy content, they could not compare to elemental creatures.

In the same vein, the purgatory of the elements needed replenishing from elemental creatures. That purgatory looked very empty at the moment and there were only two powerful weapon spirits in it. Those two had ceased fighting with each other after their space had been vastly expanded. They’d gone on to train on their own instead.

Some of the creatures that were thrown into the purgatory of the elements were eaten by either the great fire snake or the Eye of the Storm, while others were kept alive and began their new lives in that space.

Common magic beasts were made to be little more than food, but there were quite a lot of creatures that remained alive in the purgatory of the fallen. That was because Nailisi’s double required fallen believers to acquire fallen power to strengthen herself.

The Shackles of the Fallen was capable of controlling all of purgatory, so the possibility of the creatures revolting was nil.

“Master, 18 hours should be up soon!” Nailisi flew back to the magic tower and reminded Saleen of this all of a sudden. 18 hours meant that the great head inquisitor would be showing up soon.

Saleen replied, “No need to bother about him. Kudos to him if he was able to get it. If he were to simply pass through the portal without a tower similar to mine, he’d get battered all the same when he got here.”

“So, you’re not going against him then?” Nailisi asked with a puzzled look.

“The family badge is now emptied and the great head inquisitor possesses the Armageddon Codex. My Thunder Dragon Blaster was unable to do anything to him the last time we fought. If he has advanced to level-11, who knows how much more powerful the codex could have gotten? If I had the family badge to suppress his godly items, then we’d be able to fight him with our own powers.”

“It’s quite a trouble to just leave him be.”

“Relax, Nailisi. I’ve begun to have some certainty of developing lightning magic chords.”

“Is that so? Hurray!” Nailisi was excited. She had developed lightning magic chords in her body, but she did not have any lightning magic that she was able to use. Those chords served as little more than decorations at the moment.

“Yeah, my thunder dragons are able to create balls of lightning due to their magic patterns working in synch with the magic array. It’s an inherent ability of theirs which I could learn. When I’ve developed lightning magic chords, I won’t need to care about any kind of godly items.”

Saleen seemed rather boastful with his words, but it actually made sense. Lightning attacks worked best for breaking weapon spirits. A godly item that lost its weapon spirit would have its powers drastically reduced.

While the three godly items of the pope were powerful, they did not have weapon spirits in them. If the Lord of Glory were to be able to bless the items and infuse them with weapon spirits, the pope would be able to unite the entire Holy See, and no one would be able to stand in his way.

The Armageddon Codex was capable of harnessing a weapon spirit as well. If the great head inquisitor had reached level-11, he would pose a greater threat than the level-13 divine baby. The power of the Armageddon Codex had only been using less than one percent of its actual powers back then after all.

“Master, we’re getting too slow. We still need to get back as soon as possible.”

Saleen smiled and said, “I’m looking for a spot that can attract the highest number of elemental creatures. When I’ve found it, you’ll only need to wait in the tower for them to show up.”

Saleen took out the water elemental god’s divine persona, waving it before Nailisi’s eyes.

Nailisi licked her lips and wanted to have a bit. But she knew well enough that, while she was capable of crunching magic nuclei, it would cost her the teeth in her mouth if she were to actually bite the divine persona.
