What Do You Mean There Are Other Transmigrators In My Harem Fantasy?

Chapter 1203: We Can Scheme Too

Guess they realised there was no point in hiding it anymore so the King sat down and gestured at the seat across from him.

Heck, even the Queen and the Prince stopped their little oral session to sit down across from me to face me directly, which meant that even their little intimate session there was just for show, probably as an act to make it seem like they were uninvolved.

"First things first, I want my party here with me before we proceed any further," I demanded.

The King didn't even try to fight it and agreed to my demand.

I got the other girls to come in as well and they were all arranged on my side of the table with Emilia seated beside me and the rest standing behind me.

Of course, the reason why Emilia was beside me wasn't because of favoritism but because she would be the main negotiator for this.

That's why I had Eins sneak off to let them know about my plan so they were all aware of what I was planning to do walking in here and they had time to prepare for it.

The King looked at me, "So… I suppose we should start from the beginning again."

I held up my hands before I gestured towards Emilia and leaned back in my seat.

Emilia leaned forward and pressed her palms together to look at the Royals seated across from her, "So it is by my understanding that you wish to engage my client in a request to help you deal with two extremist groups that you are unable to get rid of on your own as well as obtaining information about the ones behind today's assassination attempts, am I right?"

The King nodded seriously, "That is correct."

Without missing a beat, Emilia reached into her shirt and pulled out a roll of paper to unfurl on the table.

She had drawn up an entire contract in that short amount of time I had informed her about this by the time she reached here. As expected of Emilia~

I trusted her to come up with the terms that would be beneficial to us especially since I already laid out all the facts and my expectations to them so she should know what was best.

The three of them looked down at the contract, then looked at me, before their gaze drifted to my girls who were standing menacingly behind me.

The Queen reached forward to pick the contract up and the other two peeked over her shoulder to read the paper.

All of us were just silently watching them and while I had no idea what Emilia wrote in the contract, I believe that whatever she wrote should be beneficial to us.

The Queen then slowly lowered the contract and narrowed her eyes at Emilia, "What are you trying to play here?"

Emilia tilted her head, "I do not understand what you mean? Those are the terms we require if you wish for the Nilm Family to be involved."

"These terms are basically asking us to trade the two organisations that have a rope around our necks for a single organisation that has a rope around our necks."

Emilia gestured at her, "You have two organisations who are already tightening the rope that is around your necks. We are simply offering you a chance where we take the ropes from them so that they can't pull on them anymore."

"Yes. And you will be the ones holding the rope instead. I do not see this as a solution but more of a temporary reprieve."

"And yet, it is the most effective solution you have right now and you have the guarantee that the rope will only be held by the Nilm Family. Do you know anyone else in this World who would even dare to try and take the rope away from the Nilm Family?"

They did not have an answer to that.

Well, Emilia is making good points.

Right now they have two different organisations that were basically threatening the Royal Family but that doesn't mean another group wouldn't just come in and take whatever they wanted from them one day.

But if it was the Nilm Family… The likelihood of that happening drops really close to zero.

I wouldn't say that it was completely zero since I believe that Off-Worlder organisation would still try to do so if they believe doing so would benefit them.

But of course, these people didn't know that.

The King narrowed his eyes at Emilia, "So you're basically telling us that the Nilm Family intends to create a hegemony of the entire world then…"

Emilia tilted her head at the King, "Do you think the Lehcarouc Kingdom is doing really badly?"

That was obviously a rhetorical question because everyone who is anyone in this World would know that Lehcarouc Kingdom was pretty much the wealthiest and arguably the most prosperous Kingdom in the entire World right now.

Emilia didn't wait for them to respond and simply gestured at the contract again, "They are able to be in that position with the Nilm Family watching over them and you think having the Nilm Family in charge is a bad thing?"

The King growled, discarding the act he had been keeping up all this while where he pretended to be a muscle head, "You could just be using us to further improve the Lehcarouc Kingdom and drain us dry. What's stopping you all from reenacting those days where our people were enslaved by the Lehcarouc Kingdom and had our forests cut down? Except this time we might not even be allowed to fight back."

Emilia cracked a smile, "Which is why it would be in your best interest to accept the terms on the contract, wouldn't it? Because if you are beneficial to us, then we will maintain your status quo. If you are not, however, then there is no reason why we shouldn't do some restructuring, right?"

The prince leaned towards her, "Miss Emilia… Are you not also a Nekomata? Are you selling us out?"

Oh damn… I specifically didn't want to point this out to begin with but I didn't think the prince himself would actually bring this up…

First of all… The Von Sieger company, which was of course run by Emilia's former company, has close ties with the Royal Family. Which was why they managed to build themselves up to such a degree to begin with.

And Emilia partially blames the Royal Family as part of the reason why her Family betrayed her since they incentivised it indirectly.

But as expected of Emilia, she not only managed to keep her cool, she didn't even bring up her family and simply stated as a matter of factly while looking the prince in the eye, "I am a member of the Nilm household before I am a Nekomata."

Emilia… If we were alone right now, I would have pulled you onto my lap and started kissing you.

She then turned back to King Yasukazu, "Truthfully, is this not the best deal that you are given? Not only will you gain the Nilm Family's protection, you will also gain their business. And we will even be willing to protect you economically if you were to cater to our interests."

Geez Emilia… You're really playing this role up aren't you? I might even think that you're enjoying this a little too much…

The Queen looked down at the contract again, "You wish for us to grant any business and organisation all the necessary rights that you require and have no oversight from the governing body. Additionally, these organisations that you set up will also be free of any legal and moral obligation to answer to the governing body. You might as well just tell us to allow you to place a spy next to our bed and we can do nothing to get the spy out."

Surprisingly, it was Katsuki who spoke up in response to that, "You act like if we wanted to plant a spy beside your bed, we would need your permission to do so."

All three members of the Royal Family narrowed their eyes at her at the exact same time but chose not to say anything.

You have to admit though, Katsuki does have a point… If we really wanted to plant spies in their country, we don't need to go through such a complicated process to do so.

I know for a fact that we have spies in other countries already and for all I know, there's already several of them present here.

Emilia brought their attention back to her, "As I had mentioned, this might be the best opportunity you get to deal with this problem of yours. Because if you don't accept this now and try to do something else and fail just to come and find us again, these terms will change. I will also go ahead and tell you that these terms are the most generous ones that I am willing to give so if I have to come back here to negotiate again, expect the conditions to be harsher than this."

She then leaned back and crossed her arms, showing that it was time for them to make a decision.

Emilia… You really are enjoying this aren't you?
