"Hello?"

Kiernan arrived back at the hidden village over in the forest and saw a couple of dirty-faced children peek over the walls.

The gates of the village opened up for him, and he entered the village.

The children of the forest poured out of their makeshift huts and approached him.

"…You're back."

Alpha said.

"That's right. I believe I gave you ample time to make your decision, so what is it?"

Kiernan asked with a smile.

"…There are still worries that haven't been addressed. You talked about the possibility of living inside dormitories, correct? Will we be able to move there right away?"

Alpha asked.

"I am actually planning to visit a landlord that is renting my dojo and small apartment complex today. I will get it immediately sorted."

Kiernan said.

"…I want to see the place with my own eyes first."

Alpha said.

"Sure, you can come with me."

Action Street, in the landlord's office.

"…Welcome, sir…?"

The landlord shook Kiernan's hand, but then he noticed that he was with some dirty-looking boy, who didn't seem to belong here.

"I've heard that you have talked with my fiancee, Arakawa Aoi, about the possibility of purchasing the dojo and that apartment complex down the street."

Kiernan said and sat down.

He knew that the landlord was confused about Alpha, but he didn't think there was any need to address that.

Alpha just stood by the door with his arms crossed.

"Yes… I have been thinking about selling that dojo, but the apartment complex is a trickier matter. I thought about demolishing it and putting up new buildings."

The landlord said.

"What is the price for both of them?"

Kiernan asked.

"…Well, the dojo is making me about 10,000 gold in the month, and that is 120,000 in a year. I am willing to part ways with that for 300,000 gold."

The landlord said.

Alpha's eyes almost popped out of his skull, as that kind of money was something he had never experienced with his own eyes.

They had to scavenge for days to barely get fifty gold coins to purchase food and other supplies.

"…I think that is a fair price. What about the apartment complex?"

Kiernan asked.

He expected the dojo to cost as much, and it was very expensive, but he was willing to buy it still, as he really didn't want to keep renting it.

"400,000 gold for the apartment complex. It has eighteen rooms, and it has been well-maintained, so you don't have to worry about any immediate repairs."

The landlord said.

'…700,000 gold coins into the toilet just like that. I will have about 100,000 gold remaining after that, and I can't afford to fix up any facilities if something comes up.

After storing the paperwork inside his inventory, Kiernan acquired the keys for the apartment complex and then headed out with Alpha and immediately went to check out the place.

It had three floors with six rooms on each floor, and each of them had a terrace with a view of the Action Street.

The apartment complex was literally a thirty-second walk away from the dojo.

Alpha and Kiernan went through the rooms and were satisfied, as each had a small living room, a kitchen at the corner, and two bedrooms with a bathroom.

"I think some of your friends will have to share apartments, but I don't think that will be a problem, right?"

Kiernan asked.

"Not at all… We only have a few shacks over in the village, and most had five to ten people living in the same place, so sharing an apartment should be a breeze."

Alpha said.

He was very satisfied, and honestly, he was getting very excited to leave the forest life behind, as it wasn't the life that he or other children wanted.

They just didn't have anywhere else to go, but now they do.

"Does that mean you are accepting my offer?"

Kiernan asked with a smile.

"…Yes."

Alpha turned to look at him with a serious look on his face, and he then shook Kiernan's hand firmly.

After that, they separated ways as Alpha headed straight to the forest to bring the rest of the children to their new apartment.

'There is a problem now that these children can't pay for their dojo lessons, and I have to make money, so they have to pay.
