Technology that could literally change a nation's fate, and the Wandering Wild Mage was just casually dropping it like that?

Even though everyone's heads were screaming "no way," their hands moved crazy fast. Pretty much everyone in the entire lab opened up the Magic Net.

Back in Roster territory.

Viscount Roster had just looked away from the spinning and weaving machine, couldn't help asking, "You're really planning to release the self-charging magic arrays and Magic Power Network right now?"

"I know this affects some of our territory's business..."

"It won't actually hurt business." Viscount Roster waved his hand. "We've got the most comprehensive tech, the most comprehensive production capabilities, and plus, we've got this!"

He pointed at his own head. "At most it'll affect our charging business, but we've been gradually phasing that out anyway. Magic Conductor swords are pretty much everywhere now."

"Compared to those losses, I'm way more excited about how fast our Magic Conductor machines will spread once the Magic Power Network goes mainstream. It's just... isn't this a bit too fast?"

Self-charging magic arrays and Magic Power Networks were always meant to go public eventually. Even with Roster territory as it was now, building them everywhere was impossible. They could only complete Ren's mission and get it out there by relying on nobles from all over.

Plus, stuff that happened recently had already shown Viscount Roster the benefits of spreading the Magic Power Network and self-charging magic arrays.

If they couldn't get the Magic Power Network and self-charging magic arrays out there, how would people use Magic Conductor machines?

Whether it was mining machinery, transport trains, or the newly invented Magic Conductor spinning and weaving machine—all of it needed magic power to run. Without the Magic Power Network and self-charging magic arrays, even if they sold this stuff dirt cheap, lots of nobles would still be nervous, worried about this, worried about that. Better to just release it and let them build it themselves!

Would save a ton on labor costs too.

Once Magic Power Networks and self-charging magic arrays popped up everywhere, those places would become Roster territory's most loyal customers. With endless magic power, who with mines could say no to mining machines with a hundred times the efficiency? Who without mines could refuse weaving that's thousands of times faster?

"Spring plowing season's coming up soon. I think announcing these two things now would be perfect timing to help us sell agricultural Magic Conductor machines and the druid potions we ordered from the Elf Kingdom. Plus, it'll get those nobles thinking about whether to plant cotton on a large scale..." The Wandering Wild Mage glanced at the spinning and weaving machine as he spoke. "I feel like this thing could also change the world! If that's the case, then I'll just... speed things up!"

Viscount Roster and the Wandering Wild Mage had super clear thinking on this.

If they produced cotton cloth themselves, output wouldn't be much, and it wouldn't do anything to push Magic Conductor industrialization. But if they mainly sold various Magic Conductor industrial machines, well, that'd be a whole different story.

No noble could refuse having the profitable workshops and mines in their territory get stronger. Once they realized they could buy all this equipment, they'd definitely choose to buy it and build self-charging magic arrays and Magic Power Networks.

Before long, all kinds of Magic Conductor workshops would show up in the Kingdom of Dawn and pretty much everywhere on the continent.

"If that's the case, then go for it... But remember, when you release this info publicly, add some 'drama' to it." Viscount Roster thought for a moment, then added, "Like, you and I split the loot... split the money unfairly, the profit distribution wasn't right, so you got pissed and wanted revenge on me. Or maybe you just think this stuff should be public, but I don't agree because it'd hurt profits, so you want to force my hand."

"Why?"

The Wandering Wild Mage was confused.

Wasn't Viscount Roster just throwing dirt on himself?

If this story got too big, it might hurt both their reputations.

"If we just toss the tech out there, with how suspicious those nobles are, most of them won't feel comfortable building it. That's why we had to charge money before, though honestly we could've just sold equipment and thrown in the Magic Power Network for free."

Viscount Roster smiled. "But if we add some drama, well, that changes everything! We've got beef, and you're just an ordinary down-on-his-luck magician. Even though you've risen up in this era, there's still a gap between us—at least that's how most people see it. They'll automatically assume that to get revenge on me, you released all the good stuff."

"Of course, they'll definitely come up with all kinds of other reasons too, but no matter what they imagine, they'll just get more and more convinced. Won't have any doubts."

"Can't we just say we got a revelation from the God of Technology? Or that we think this helps spread faith in the God of Technology? Wouldn't that work?" The Wandering Wild Mage was still confused. Finding a reasonable excuse wasn't hard, and it wasn't even lying.

The God of Technology did want it spread.

"My friend, you don't get those rotten nobles. They don't believe people would give up their own interests because of some so-called divine revelation, especially not nobles and magicians." Viscount Roster shook his head. "Only an interest-based approach will get maximum results."

After a brief silence, the Wandering Wild Mage nodded slightly, deciding to take Viscount Roster's advice. After all, he really didn't understand nobles. Still, he was thinking—if they were just going with an interest angle, couldn't they just say they wanted to sell more Magic Conductors?!

The announced time was coming up, so he stopped questioning it. He figured his viscount friend definitely had his own ideas. When it came to business stuff, just listen to him—couldn't go wrong!

When the announced time arrived, the Wandering Wild Mage opened his Magic Space himself and started describing line by line how self-charging magic arrays and Magic Power Networks worked, down to every last detail, writing out every single thing carefully.

Who knows how long passed, but the comments under his post were already overflowing.

"What an absolutely genius idea!"

"So that's how Magic Power Networks and self-charging magic arrays work!"

"The Wandering Wild Mage will definitely go down in history! I think this is literally opening up a new era!"
