The King of Black Fog

Chapter 248 Let Them Know the Formidability of Earthlings_2

He stood up, howling, and charged towards the man again.

"Step back from the water!" an elder living at the back yelled loudly to the man.

The man, clutching his wound, tried to retreat, but the robbers were faster and in greater numbers, quickly dragging him off the massive object.

The robbers ignored the man after throwing him down and charged towards others on top of the massive object.

The man stood up on the sandy ground, horrified as if stepping on a landmine. The ground undulated and surged, as dense yellow sand creatures crawled up his body following the blood on his shoulders.

"Get away!" The man roared as he swung his stick, bursting a swath of the yellow sand creatures, sending sand flying everywhere.

More sand creatures surged up behind this burst of sand.

The man was buried alive by the sand creatures.

The sand creatures quickly dispersed, carrying red blood on their bodies, leaving behind the man's skin, flesh, and bones, dried out like a mummy.

The robbers did not kill people; they only injured them, and only men, avoiding women and trying hard not to get injured themselves.

"Snap!" On the back of the massive object, a woman swung a whip made of sand.

The air blast was sharp, the whip cracked open, and gravel densely pelted, lashing towards the robbers.

"Pff ah!" A robber was blinded by sand on one side, his eyes dazzled, his foot slipped, and he fell out.

The woman raised her whip; the sand in the desert surged up, automatically forming a long whip.

"Snap!" The air exploded as the whip lashed down again.

This time it struck a robber directly, the terrible strength nearly split him in half.

"Save me, save me!" The robber knew what he was about to face.

Two of his comrades slid towards him, ignoring his cries, took his long spear, and clutching his arms, threw him into a room on the left side of the massive object.

There were children's screams inside the room.

The man and woman lifted the robber, one by the head and one by the feet, intending to throw him down, when the sand creatures, drawn by the moisture, swarmed over.

"Run!" The man rolled away with the woman, and the next second, the injured robber was overwhelmed by the sand creatures.

But there were too many robbers. The woman wielding the whip, could manage one front but not the other, and could only watch helplessly as people were killed.

"Why aren't other people helping them?" Li Qianxia puzzled.

The other two massive objects stood still as if nothing had happened, watching the robbers attack the fallen massive object's companions.

"They might just be traveling together. With three moving together, the chance of being raided by robbers is smaller, but when it actually happens, everyone fends for themselves," Li Changzhou guessed.

"Isn't this just 'five cities cut today, ten tomorrow'?" Li Qianxia frowned.

"It's all for survival, people are selfish..."

Li Changzhou didn't finish his sentence before a figure leaped down from the back of another massive object.

It was a young girl, clad in long trousers, only wrapped a cloth around her chest, barefoot, with healthy wheat-colored skin, holding a massive sword.

"Ha!"

The giant sword was very heavy; the girl had to rotate her body to gather strength when swinging it.

Spurt!

Two robbers, riding on 'sand sliders,' couldn't change their direction fast enough and crashed into the massive sword, their bodies split into four parts, thudding onto the sand.

The giant sword, following its inertia, heavily smashed into the sand.

A robber rushed over, flying-like.

The girl turned back, her gaze sharp, her hands supporting the hilt of the sword, she flipped to avoid.

Just as she landed, she kicked the blade of the sword.

The giant sword swung out high, spurt! The robber's head rolled out, wrapped in sand.

Before the giant sword landed again, the girl crouched, shouldering the giant sword, her feet stepping repeatedly on the sand, charging towards another robber like stepping on water.

The girl was slender and agile, the giant sword was powerful and heavy; sometimes the girl swung the giant sword, other times it seemed the giant sword was tossing the girl, creating a bizarre yet tense scene.

Amazingly, hundreds of robbers couldn't handle her for a moment.

"Amazing!" Li Qianxia couldn't help but exclaim.

"So cool!" Crackers' eyes sparkled.

Of course, they weren't surprised by the girl's strength, but admired her calmness and performance.

"Her combat power is 21 points, the woman with the whip has 14 points, the last one with 15 points, on another massive object," Xiao Wu said without looking up, but he knew who they were discussing.

His eyes never left the girl's agile figure.

"Qing Shui! Qing Shui!" The girl was invincible, causing the residents on her massive object to shout and cheer.

Among the group of robbers, a person lowered his forehead goggles, tapped lightly on the sand with his long spear, and slid out like an arrow.

"A robber with combat power of 19 and another approaching who's 30 points; that girl is in danger!" Xiao Wu shouted.

"What are you shouting about?" Turquoise Pool furrowed his brow and glanced at him.

Xiao Wu's throat seemed to be clenched, his face turning red, not just from shyness but also seeming fearful.

Li Changzhou laughed, saying, "Xiao Wu seems to like her. How about letting Xiao Wu play the hero to save the beauty?"

"Yes, yes," Li Qianxia nodded repeatedly, "After all, there are only a few people below, and everyone surviving won't affect the overall situation. Plus, Xiao Wu could represent Earth and Turquoise Pool in forming an alliance, which would also benefit future cooperation between both sides."

"Do you have feelings for this woman?" Turquoise Pool asked Xiao Wu.

Xiao Wu's face turned red: "No....."

"Tell the truth."

"...Yes, a little."

Turquoise Pool thought for a moment: "Go then, but you must win that woman over, making her willingly tell you all the intelligence she knows."

"...Turquoise Pool, perhaps forget it, I don't like her that much."

"Is it that you don't like her that much, or that you lack the confidence to make her fall for you?" Turquoise Pool looked at her distant cousin.

Xiao Wu fell silent.
