{ "As you may know by now, the first floor of the Westford tower dungeon is not very complex." }
In the hall filled with people powerful enough to kill her several times, Aria started addressing the crowd as if it were a normal procedure for her.
{ "With the exception of the boss monsters of each section, there are barely any beings higher than Level-20 within the first floor, meaning each party present here can take care of it on their own." }
As it was within most of the dungeons, the parties that entered the dungeon would not end up in the same place as the rest.
All the parties that enter the dungeon will find themselves in different sections of the dungeon, and they will have to get themselves out of that place if they want to be present during the actual raid.
{ "Of the fifteen sections present on the 1st floor, the White scale Naga has appeared in the middle of the 12th floor, an area that was guarded by a [Sand Bear], a creature many of you might be familiar with already." }
A holographic image was present before them, showing the creature as well as the dungeon's layout as Aria's explanation continued.
She had been preparing for all this over the last two days, and even the detailed analysis of the floor, along with the physical copies presented to each person present right now, was created by her.
Some of the details present in her paper impressed the research-oriented association members. With her name at the bottom of the very first page, she had not missed the chance to advertise herself to these important people this time.
It was clear that the golden star was awarded to her for her genius insight and analysis skills. Some of the seniors recognized her talents from the way she was explaining each and every element of the dungeon's floor as well, showing clear interest in her.
Sadly, with the nameplate of the association present on her chest, it was obvious that the association had already recruited her for now.
But then again, they did not know where her loyalty was just yet, meaning there was still a chance to get her on their side.
{ "With this, we are concluding the floor briefing. We shall take a short break, and then we will have the captains on the stage with us." }
Aria bowed lightly and gathered her materials as she left the podium.
She had a special, dignified Aura that almost made her seem like a noble. And, with how she used her middle name in her full name, many of them assumed she was a noble from some faraway country.
Also, there was something special about her voice.
"You felt it too, right?"
"It must be a skill…"
"Not just any simple skill. The power of an Otherworlder: universal translation."
She did not want to reveal herself to the world, but she needed to take responsibility for what she had done.
In one way or another, she would have had to reveal herself to the world.
Since she was entangled with a high-ranking noble house, the association, as well as the guard captain of one of the largest cities of the kingdom, there's no way she would have managed to keep a calm, hidden life for too long.
Doing it like this, with the support of the association, would simply help her go forward and provide protection against those noble households.
"Seems like the Westford association branch has landed itself a big fish this time."
As the fact spread among the crowd, a unanimous agreement to keep her status hidden was made between the gathered parties.
After the short break, with the party captains gathering on the stage along with the cold, silver-haired dog of Exile Quinn, the planning for the actual battle finally began.
"As we know, the Silver Scale Naga are spirit creatures with skills that allow them to manifest the spirit realm in an individually unique domain."
Each boss-level monster was categorized into different danger ratings that went from Red to Purple, following the rainbow's colors.
The Red-rank was given to normal boss monsters like the Basilisk that Aria and her party caught a few days ago, while this Naga was a Green-rank boss monster.
If we say the red threat level bosses were strong enough to pose a threat to a small village, the orange rank were strong enough to devastate a small town.
The green rank, on the other hand, was far stronger as they could pose a threat to a city as big as Westford as well.
The powers of beings beyond Green-rank were not something we could measure with levels alone.
They had skills that could produce different results depending on their usage. And that was also the reason they were limited only to specific places around the world— or to the more difficult parts of the dungeons.
"The moment we enter the dungeon, the creature will know about our presence. The only reason it has not attacked the ones who reached there first is because of the injuries it sustained prior to its evolution.
The association does not know the exact cause; however, if one does not approach the creature first, it is not attacking them first."
There were a lot of questions that the foreigners, as well as those who had some experience dealing with high-threat-level bosses, understood: trying to understand those monsters was not easy.
All the researchers present had spent their lives around hundreds of beasts, both inside and outside of the dungeons.
There were some who specialized in Monster ecology, and even they did not have much data on the White Scale Nagas.
The last one defeated was recorded to be nine months back in the dungeons of the second continent. On the third continent, where they were, however, a white scale Naga had not been defeated for 3 years now.
This was not only an opportunity to gather resources but also a war for something greater.
"We will have to gather after appearing inside the dungeon. Does anyone know how we can be the most efficient with that?"
This planning and strategy meeting was simply a prelude to the greater battle that no one could actually foresee.
The opponent wasn't just a Naga… it was a Naga mother.
And, while none of them would know it, there was only one other instance in the entire known history where a battle of such scale against a mother Naga was fought.
And the result… was the annihilation of a noble household far bigger than the Westford will ever be.
