I Made The World Mutate

Chapter 1110: The Three Great War Gods

Great Tang ruins, suburbs west of Luo City.

Bang! Bang! Bang!

A knocking sound echoed.

"Hang on!" The aloof young woman's voice sounded from inside the room. A few minutes later, the sound of a toilet flushing was heard.

Footsteps approached the door, it opened, and a young woman who looked to be in her early twenties with a somewhat aloof demeanor poked her head out, staring at the forty-something, rather elegant middle-aged man standing at the door, coldly asking, "What's the matter?"

Xiao Mu, transformed into the middle-aged man, asked with a smile, "Is there a house for rent here?"

"You want to rent a house?" The woman's expression softened.

Xiao Mu nodded.

The woman stared at him for a long time, seemingly scrutinizing his identity. Ultimately, she probably felt that the middle-aged man that Xiao Mu had turned into didn't have a crude or uncultured vibe, and so she relaxed, "No noise, no loud chatter, no bringing people over, kitchen and bathroom can be used, but must be cleaned after use, change to slippers upon entering, no water on the floor, no pets, no eating spicy food at home."

"Morning from seven to eight, evening from nine to ten, you can't hog the bathroom."

"Hmm, that's all for now. If I think of anything else, I'll let you know. Can you manage?"

"Are you the landlord?" Xiao Mu glanced unintentionally at the aloof young woman.

The aloof young woman was taken aback, "No."

Why tell me all this, then?

A hint of displeasure flashed across Xiao Mu's face, "Is the landlord at home?"

"Not right now, but if you want to see the house, I can show you." The aloof young woman seemed to notice Xiao Mu's inner displeasure and adjusted her attitude slightly, pointing toward the shoe shelf, "Changing into slippers isn't a problem, right? The blue pair on the bottom hasn't been worn."

"Sure!"

Changing shoes was certainly no problem. Xiao Mu bent down to pick up the slippers from the shelf, took off his shoes, and found an empty spot on the shelf to place them.

"Come in!"

The aloof young woman opened the door, inviting Xiao Mu inside.

Xiao Mu walked into the room, immediately catching a whiff of a cold fragrance.

The aloof young woman casually closed the door, then stared at Xiao Mu for another moment, suddenly asking very seriously, "Are you also a Mutated Being?"

Xiao Mu nodded, "Yes!"

"Yin God Realm?" The aloof young woman seemed a bit expectant.

"No."

Xiao Mu's answer disappointed the aloof young woman, "Mortal Realm Fifth Level?"

"No."

"Then what Realm are you?" The aloof young woman grew impatient and didn't want to guess anymore.

"I'm in the True God Realm." Xiao Mu's face showed a faint smile.

"Is it fun to joke around randomly?" The aloof young woman hardened her face, become serious, staring at Xiao Mu, not pleased.

I'm telling you the truth, and you don't believe me, how's that my fault?

Xiao Mu's expression remained half-smiling.

"Come in!" The aloof young woman stopped asking and didn't believe him, inviting him inside.

The room inside was cleaned very thoroughly, the floor was spotless.

The house wasn't too big, but the layout was nice, with bright windows and excellent lighting.

The thermostat was on, bringing a slight chill to the room, making the clean space seem even cleaner.

The whole house carried a certain spirituality. This spirituality emanated from below, clearly because a Spiritual Array was arranged beneath the house.

Such a room was undoubtedly specially designed to serve Mutated Beings.

This change only appeared after the World Mutation occurred.

Before the World Mutation, rooms were only available to rent to ordinary people. But after the mutation, some rooms were transformed, intended for renting to Mutated Beings.

The house had three rooms and one living room, not large but well laid out, with each room facing the living room, yet avoiding the bathroom and kitchen locations.

The aloof young woman led Xiao Mu to a room on the right side, reached out to open the door, and a hint of coolness and cleanliness emerged from within.

The room was simple, with a bed, a table, a wardrobe, a chair, and a special cushion for Mutated Beings' cultivation on the floor.

Beneath the cushion, a Spiritual Array was set up, connecting to the array under the house, with strands of spiritual energy seeping out from below.

"This is the room for rent." The aloof young woman began to introduce the room to Xiao Mu, "Rent is calculated daily, one Energy Fruit per day."

"This is without activating the Spiritual Array. If the array is activated, there is an additional charge of one to three Energy Fruits per day, depending on the level, and you can choose freely whether to activate it or not."

"How many days are you planning to rent? When the landlord returns, you can discuss directly with her."

"When will the landlord be back?" Xiao Mu looked at the aloof young woman. He was satisfied with the room and decided to rent it.

Pretending to be an ordinary Mutated Being could serve as a cover for him, avoiding immediate attention from Heavenly Court experts.

"About three to four hours. The landlord has gone out on business. If you decide to rent, you can wait in the living room for her."

"Thank you!"

Xiao Mu expressed his gratitude and joined the aloof young woman in the living room to wait for the landlord's return.

The aloof young woman stopped paying attention to him and returned to her own room, turning on the television.

Her room echoed with the noisy sound of the television, yet the aloof young woman appeared quite irritated, constantly changing channels.

Xiao Mu settled his mind, no longer focusing on her, sat down on the living room couch.

The living room also had a Spiritual Array, emanating strands of spiritual energy.

But this ordinary array, opened or not, was of little help to Xiao Mu, even arguably of no use at all.
