Chapter 87: Justice From the Heavens (Part 2)

The Crossbow Shooter groaned, falling to his knees, despair flashing in his eyes—because he saw his companion already awake, throwing a punch directly at Fang Hong, but Fang Hong acted as if he didn't see it, determined to take his life.

If he could, he wished he could loudly ask, what grudge or enmity is this, what had he done to offend this guy before?

But in the last moment, the Crossbow Shooter's heart suddenly calmed down; knowing he was doomed, he suddenly raised his right hand to shoot an arrow at Fang Hong—his Light Crossbow had been discarded long ago, and he actually had no weapon in hand.

Yet Fang Hong immediately understood what move his opponent was doing—the Sleeve Archer Crossbow. Fortunately, the Papalarians were just as despicable and shameless, often using such tricks. He quickly shifted to the side, but was still a moment late, feeling a sharp pain in his right shoulder.

At the same time, the Energy Angel cleaved the Crossbow Shooter kneeling on the ground in one stroke.

The Fighter roared angrily, entering Fang Hong's close combat range, sweeping a punch towards him. But suddenly, he felt a weight on his body; it turns out the 'Stalker' had sneaked back at some unknown time, opening the Gravity Trap once more.

The Fighter's punch slowed, but his reaction was astonishingly fast; his fist turned into a claw, reaching for Fang Hong's throat.

This time Fang Hong was truly startled. He had calculated that after the opponent was caught in the gravity trap, he would have a moment to react and release the Mirrorer to escape. But he didn't expect the reactions at such high levels of close combat would be this quick.

Adding to the injury in his right shoulder, his hands were slower by a moment, he couldn't keep up with the opponent's speed. The Mirrorer was thrown out—but there was no follow-up, he felt a pain in his throat, as his whole body was suddenly flying.

The Fighter pushed him forward by the throat, sending Fang Hong flying, crashing heavily into the ground. Since his Shield had long been exhausted and was yet to recover, how could an Alchemist withstand this?

For a moment, Fang Hong saw stars, his sense of balance lost.

A distance away, Hilveld furrowed her brows and raised her gun momentarily. But after aiming for a while, she put it down again. Fang Hong was already entangled in close combat with the Fighter. Though she was confident in her marksmanship, she couldn't guarantee not to accidentally hit Fang Hong.

Elsewhere, Fang Hong exerted his full effort to struggle, but it was futile; his opponent's grip was like iron, he pulled desperately yet couldn't move a finger. Within moments, he felt himself nearing suffocation—

The lack of oxygen threw his mind into chaos, but he bit his teeth hard, trying his best to calm down. With all his might, he took a breath, then issued a command from deep within.

The Fighter choking Fang Hong also knew there was a Musketeer lurking in the shadows, preventing him from delaying too long. Although curious about who his opponent really was, he weighed the situation and prepared to finish off the Alchemist with a punch.

Just as he raised his fist, he suddenly saw a burst of light fly out from Fang Hong's chest. The Fighter paused slightly, staring to see it was a rather cute Fairy Miss. Without a word, she grabbed a Black Crystal from the Alchemist's chest and flew upward.

Not daring to let go of his right hand, he could only grab with his left hand. But because of the fist-raising motion, he was still a moment late, letting Fairy Miss slip by, flying above his head. The Fighter looked up to see the green glow flying higher and higher—just a mere Black Crystal, seemingly without much threat.

He assumed it was just his opponent's desperate attempt to salvage equipment, only lowering his head again.

But it was at this moment that a calm voice echoed in Fang Hong's mind: "Coordinates confirmed."

Upon hearing this, Fang Hong released his grip on the opponent's hand, clenching his fist tightly—Summoning Construct.

At that moment, he suddenly opened his eyes, looking at the Fighter in front of the Shadow Throne, forcing a smile uglier than crying. He gritted his teeth and uttered a muffled sound:

"Have you ever heard of..."

"Heard of what?"

The Fighter blinked, tightening his hands, naturally swallowing the rest of Fang Hong's words.

The young man still had a bright look in his eyes.

There seemed to be an implied phrase within:

"Have you ever heard of an attack descending from the heavens?"

The Fighter clearly hadn't heard of it, but he did catch the sharp sound of wind from above, his face changing color, instinctively releasing Fang Hong and dodging aside—but it was too late. The massive Knight Construct descended from the sky, one hand propping on the ground with a thunderous crash—the whole street shook.

In the distance, the Piper's Court's sign wobbled and fell with a bang. Glass display cases shattered in unison, shards scattering across the ground.

The enormous Orphen Twin Stars, after landing, stirred up the snow dust, almost sweeping the Fighter away. He hurriedly raised his hand to block it, simultaneously grounding himself with a thousand-pound fall to barely stand firm. But before he could lower his hand, he saw the swirling snow dust parting before him—a fist was but moments away.

The punch harnessed the immense weight and impact of the landing, and the Fighter's final move was to raise both hands in defense.
