" Truly amazing! This is actually an artifact!"

Long Ming felt his divine sense spreading like a tidal wave as he scanned the stele using it. The moment he put his palm on it, his divine sense sucked inside, making him see a new world.

Looking at his surroundings, Long Ming felt that he was standing in a void. Suddenly, the void expanded, making him see a lot of things.

First, before him was a floating sword, almost translucent like a jade glass. Just looking at it might pierce the body and soul of a cultivator.

Next to the sword floated a divine arrow as if made from multicolored metal with pulsing power on the string. There was no arrow nocked on the string, yet it was as if a letal intent was aimed at your heart.

Then swirled plum blossoms with an attractive fragrance, blooms covering heaven and earth.

Lightning bolts flashed, coursing like a lightning dragon. Below it was an ocean coursing with tidal waves. Behind Long Ming was a vast field, divided into patches of four seasons.

Verdant mountain covered with mist, azure flame blooming like lotuses, fabrics of space ripped apart, with energy of space flowing inside.

" Hmm, so it's showing all the techniques I have mastered so far, huh? All techniques, physiques I have cultivated till now have been displayed." Long Ming mumbled as he rubbed his chin.

However, no matter how oppressive the aura those gave, Long Ming didn't feel anything at all. He stood silent and curious in the void, his Desolate Immortal Aura making him look like a divine overseer looking over the realm.

His steps moved gracefully, traversing across the void with speed. However, even after that, he saw no end of it.

' That's not possible. I feel I am missing something here.'

Suddenly, looking above, Long Ming saw a convergence of crimson aura. His eyes narrowed as he looked at it, his Heavenly Revelation Eyes seeing through its uniqueness.

It looked like a star, shining bright with a crimson glaze. However, even with his composure, Long Ming can't help but feel a trace of murderous intent rising in his heart.

' Desolate Heaven Murder Star born from my Chaotic Murder Heart?'

The strange thing was bound to his fate, the precise reason he doesn't kill anyone unless it's a necessity. Long Ming felt as if he were to consume the star, only two possibilities could happen.

Either he masters his fate of slaughter, or he will fall into it and turn into a murderous devil.

The thing his, despite everything Long Ming has, he didn't feel enough confidence to accept it at all.

' Leave it, as long as I reach Dao Refining Realm or higher, I am sure I can deal with it.'

But it wasn't over yet. He looked at his arm with curiosity, and was surprised when he saw a flower branch emerging from it. It was like two vines twisted together, one black and one white. A flower bloomed pitch black, a flower bloomed with pearly whiteness.

The black flower gave off an aura of death, cold, silent, and oblivion. The white one, on the other hand, was soothing, akin to watching a newborn calf.

' The mark I got from the Seal of Life and Death. The only reason I am transmigrated to this world. So many mysteries contained in it.' Long Ming pondered.

" However, this ends here." Looking at the front, Long Ming steadied his heart. " Show your true self!"

He didn't use any fancy technique at all. Simply the power of his Supreme Comprehension, Long Ming used his Dao Heart. And in a single moment, the void before him crumbled.

' Well, that's not something I expected.'

Long Ming took a deep breath as he looked at his surroundings. A gigantic, vast place with blue skies above and rolling clouds below. There was sun and moon together at once, yet the shining of light was just perfect.

He saw floating pavilions filled with numerous techniques, another rack filled with all sorts of divine weapons. Even without his Heavenly Revelation Eyes, Long Ming could feel the hymn of grand dao; a single day here would be beneficial to even Nine Revolutions of Soul Realm cultivators.

" It's been a long time since someone came here."

A voice echoed, resonating through heaven and earth. Long Ming felt a faint shudder, but his Desolate Immortal Aura blocked the pressure.

" Are you truly a human? Or something else?"

" Pure human." Long Ming answered.

" True, though your soul seems abnormal."

Suddenly, an orb of light manifested before Long Ming, transforming into a gigantic turtle. Its eyes opened, obsidian black iris surrounded by flaming red.

The moment Long Ming felt that gaze, he felt like his eyes could see through his self.

"The void you saw earlier, if you had picked any of the paths that appeared there, you would have received a treasure among these." The turtle explained.

" Yet you couldn't have come here."

" Does that mean I can take everything here?" Long Ming's eyes shone with greed. He can at least get a few Imperial Treasures here.

Hell, there might be something that's beyond the grade of Imperial Treasure!

" No, you can't." The turtle spoke in a calm voice. " However, you might receive even a greater thing."

" And that is…" Long Ming raised his brows.

" The truth of Great Sky Ruins."

Long Ming stared at the turtle silently.

" Can you give me at least one Imperial Treasure so I can just like…You know, go away? No need for sharing any truths."

" Brat, are you saying you aren't curious about the Great Sky Ruins?"

The turtle looked at Long Ming with shock. Many ancient sages, great cultivators, tried to seek the truth. Even Heavenly Emperors are curious about the Great Sky Ruin's secrets.

" I don't think learning the truth will help me in anything." Long Ming shrugged.

He was being pragmatic after all. Because knowing anything won't do shit. Treasures are more important than information.

" The place you are currently in is part of the Middle Planes. Along with Heaven's Pillar Plane, which you are currently in, there are seven other planes across the realm."

" The Great Sky Ruin isn't part of the Middle Planes, is it?" Long Ming guessed. " It came from beyond. Does that mean it's the place where the Heavenly Emperor ascends?"

The turtle eyed at long Long Ming, speaking with a raised voice, " For a person who was uninterested in Great Sky Ruin's secret, you are sure quite curious."

" But yes, what you have said is correct. The Great Sky Ruins are from the world beyond."

Suddenly, the turtle raised his hands, and a thick book appeared before Long Ming.

" I know you aren't really interested. But do give it a read. The knowledge regarding the Great Sky Ruin needs to be passed on."

" Why don't you go out?" Long Ming looked at the turtle. Its aura was tremendous, making all the treasures around it dull. Long Ming felt the turtle was already at the pinnacle of the Grand Heaven Ascension Realm.

" Ahh, right. Let me guess, you can't go out because you are tied in this place." Long Ming suddenly blurted out.

" You know this as well." The turtle nodded.

" Common cliche." Long Ming shrugged with a grin. But then, he suddenly asked a question.

" Say I am the person who came here after so long, right? What kind of privilege will I get?" Long Ming asked in a curious voice.

" For example, control over the ruins? Like ancient tribes of the three cities? Or the Heavenly Fountain Palace."

" Someone already gained control of the Heavenly Fountain Palace." The turtle spoke slowly. " At least partially."

Long Ming's blood turned cold when he heard that.
