Over The World, Beyond Heaven

Chapter 506: In Those Regards No Problem. I Will Take Care of It!

"What else needs to be proven? You can see how similar they are to us, both in appearance and aura," Diao interjected, wondering why further examination was necessary since Zheng-Fu and Jin-Tian looked exactly like them.

"You're still very inexperienced. In this world, there are techniques and martial skills for transforming one's appearance and aura to mimic others, especially those used by the nasty Demon Tribes," the Great Elder immediately responded, explaining to Diao why proof was necessary.

"If so…"

Blop!!!

"It's alright, Diao. We're willing to let the Great Elder prove what he needs to," Zheng-Fu said, reaching out and placing a reassuring hand on Diao's shoulder with a carefree smile.

"But Big Brother…"

"Diao, trust what Big Brother Fu-Zheng says," Den added, curious to see if Zheng-Fu had a way to survive this examination, although he also felt fear in his heart. If everything was exposed, Zheng-Fu might kill everyone in the clan.

"Alright," Diao nodded reluctantly.

"Since no one objects, you two follow me and the Clan Leader to our clan's main hall," the Great Elder instructed, his tone neither too harsh nor too soft.

"Yes, Great Elder," Zheng-Fu and Jin-Tian acknowledged, clasping their hands before following the Great Elder and the middle-aged Clan Leader.

The other elders and the two brothers were left to wait, as this examination was different from any before. Apart from the Great Elder and the Clan Leader, no one else was allowed to participate.

Inside the main hall of the Silver Body Clan...

"Who are you two? And where did you come from?" the Clan Leader asked seriously when they arrived, his expression clearly showing that he didn't believe Zheng-Fu and Jin-Tian were truly members of the Bull Elf Race.

"I've already told you that we belong to the Bull Elf Race," Zheng-Fu repeated, maintaining his story.

"Come on, now. The Clan Leader and I know that you're not from our race, nor are you from the Demon Tribe. If you were truly of our race, the Clan Leader and I would have sensed our unique racial energy. But we didn't sense anything, so you're not one of us," the Great Elder stated calmly, his expression sincere. Despite this, Zheng-Fu still didn't reveal his identity.

Seeing Zheng-Fu's silence, the Silver Body Clan Leader spoke again, "Whoever you two are, as long as you don't offend our clan, I'll be happy to associate with you and fully support you," he said, smiling at Zheng-Fu.

"Alright, since you say so, I'll reveal my true identity. But first, let me take care of something."

"Take care of something?"

Zheng-Fu walked towards the door, pretending to open it, but suddenly changed direction, thrusting his hand into what appeared to be an empty space to his right.

Stab!

Aaaah!!!

A loud cry echoed as blood splattered across the floor.

"Eavesdropping on others? That's not a good habit!" Zheng-Fu said in a stern voice as he pulled his hand out of a man's body.

Screech!!!

"He's from the Shadow Serpent Clan!!?" The Clan Leader, who had been sitting in his chair, instantly stood up, staring in shock at the black-robed man who lay bleeding on the floor.

"When did he get in?" Even the Great Elder was unaware of the man's presence.

"He's been here since the beginning of our conversation, and it seems he's been in the clan for quite some time," Zheng-Fu said softly, wiping the blood from his hand before bending down to search the man's body, finding a dimensional ring on his finger.

"Hmm… there's quite a bit of money in this ring. And what book is this?" Zheng-Fu asked aloud as he pulled out a book. As soon as the Clan Leader and Great Elder saw the book, their expressions changed dramatically.

Their eyes widened, and their mouths gaped in shock, for they recognized the book in Zheng-Fu's hand very well.

"That's our clan's secret skill textbook!!!" the Great Elder exclaimed.

Huh...?

"Silver Body Clan's secret skill textbook?" Zheng-Fu repeated, glancing at the Great Elder before turning back to the book in his hand. He smiled slightly and began to read.

Flop!!!

[The Silver Body Clan Skill]

"Silver Body Clan Skill? Hmm... it's a good skill, but unfortunately, it's incomplete. At best, the energy it produces can only be compared to an intermediate high-level skill," Zheng-Fu said regretfully after briefly scanning the book.

"What did you just say?" The Clan Leader heard everything Zheng-Fu said, and it made his heart pound irregularly. This secret technique had been stolen many years ago, and he was the only one who had read it, but he only understood part of it...

Yet Zheng-Fu spoke as if he had understood it all after just a few minutes of reading. How could the Clan Leader not be shocked by this?

"As I said. If you don't believe me, read it yourself." Zheng-Fu tossed the Silver Body Clan's secret skill book, 'The Silver Body Clan Skill,' back to the Clan Leader.

The Clan Leader caught the book, his expression a mix of shock and confusion. While every clan would have coveted such a skill, Zheng-Fu had casually dismissed it and thrown it back as if it were nothing.

After receiving the book, the Clan Leader didn't hesitate to open it. But even after reading, he found nothing incomplete. He still believed the skill was impressive, yet Zheng-Fu's words made him question its value.

"Could you tell me what's incomplete about this skill?" the Clan Leader asked, looking at Zheng-Fu with great anticipation, momentarily forgetting the current situation.

"You want my help? Why should I help you? We're not of the same race, and we've never met before," Zheng-Fu replied calmly.

…!!!

The Clan Leader and the Great Elder's faces turned pale as Zheng-Fu's words struck them deeply.

Woooooosh!!!

At that moment, Zheng-Fu and Jin-Tian's bodies suddenly transformed, revealing their true forms as humans.

"You're from the human tribe!!?" Both the Clan Leader and the Great Elder were stunned, shouting in unison. Fortunately, the room was soundproof, so no one else heard.

"That's right. We're… Well, I'm from the human tribe, and he's a monster beast who has transformed into a human."

"A monster beast who transformed into a human!!?"

Zheng-Fu's last statement shocked them even more. While they had heard of monster races transforming into humans, they had never actually seen it. Zheng-Fu revealed this information, hoping they might know something about it.

"Do you know anything about this?" Zheng-Fu asked with a smile.

"No, we've never heard of such a thing," the Clan Leader shook his head.

"What a pity. Anyway, now that you know who I am, what will you do next?" Zheng-Fu asked, still smiling.

"Um… We… We…" The Clan Leader and the Great Elder were at a loss. They didn't know what to do. If Zheng-Fu had been from another monster race, it might have been easier to deal with.

"Sigh... I'll stand by my earlier words. No matter who you are or where you come from, as long as you don't harm my clan, I won't cause you any trouble and will even offer my help," the Clan Leader finally decided, speaking firmly. He was willing to take full responsibility if things went wrong, using 'I' instead of 'we' to show his personal commitment.

"Of course, Clan Leader, don't worry. I've never thought of harming your clan, and I'm even considering helping your clan if you help me," Zheng-Fu said, noting the Clan Leader's personal tone but still addressing them collectively. His words made the Clan Leader feel a pang of sorrow.

"Young man... Um… what should I call you?" The Great Elder was unsure how to address Zheng-Fu, knowing that 'Fu-Zheng' wasn't his real name.

"Call me Zheng-Fu, and his name is Jin-Tian," Zheng-Fu introduced himself again, this time using his real name, confident that no one on this continent knew it except his wife.

"Young Master Zheng-Fu, I don't know what you need from us, but if it's something our clan can help with, we're willing to do so. However, our clan is currently in decline, both in terms of strength and finances. So, we may not be able to offer much assistance," the Great Elder admitted, informing Zheng-Fu of the clan's current limitations.

The Silver Body Clan was in a serious financial crisis and lacked powerful members.

"In those regards, no problem. I'll take care of it!"
