Legend of the chosen ones: Beyond Destiny

Chapter 185 Apology

From the moment that first mouthy woman and the fatty smashed into the wall, Lou Feng wasn't the least bit surprised, or rather, he had anticipated it all along.

And when Zhou Cheng was swung by Ji Jue and thrown out, grazing his head as he flew, Lou Feng's eyelids started to twitch uncontrollably.

What a relief that I reacted quickly and kept my distance!

Even so, he looked at Zhou Cheng not far away and still felt uneasy.

Lou Feng's brows furrowed again and again, stepping back more and more, protecting everyone in front of his chest wasn't enough, he pushed himself further into the corner.

Others might not be clear about it, taking the previous events as a joke to mock themselves, but how could he, having experienced it firsthand, not know?

Once Ji Jue, that psychopath, starts a fight, he doesn't recognize anyone—not caring about life or death!

You've never been raked by machine-gun fire and Fuel Element Bombs, if you want to seek death, that's fine; just don't get your blood on me!

My tailor-made suit is very difficult to clean!

Meanwhile, not far away, complaints were belatedly voiced.

"Despicable!"

"A sneak attack!"

"Shameless!"

Watching Ji Jue shamelessly starting the fight without any sportsmanship, and even before they could react, Zhou Cheng was almost crippled; the rest of them were shocked and burst out in anger.

As for Ji Jue, he couldn't care less.

He even felt like cleaning out his ears.

Isn't this normal?

Isn't this what a fight is? Use whatever you have, whatever's useful, use it; even fools know that the Embers are weakest in a surprise attack, you have to strike hard and strike first, finish them off or cripple them.

How big of a fool would I have to be to engage these Equipment Warriors in an open and fair fight?

"Who's next?"

Ji Jue kicked aside the shattered table and walked toward the crowd, offering friendly advice, "I suggest you don't fight one-on-one, if you want to win, better come at me together."

But before that, he had already made a vicious move!

Mercury surged, enveloping his body.

Within it, a hardened mercury bead quietly dissolved, and then thick armor emerged, with motors whirring and roaring, the mass of hundreds of kilograms plowed into the crowd like a shell.

It was like shattering glass, crushing some invisible barrier.

And before the words had even settled, Ji Jue's fist had already slammed straight into the face of the foremost person, but suddenly, the opponent reacted swiftly, trying to arch back to dodge.

The pupils flashed with Spiritual Light identical to Ji Jue's.

Transcendent Vision!

Accelerating the operation of consciousness, thereby slowing down the perceived world, it was the same blessing!

From this dodging maneuver, the man couldn't help but want to sneer—All special Embers, you really think you're the only one who has it, just wait until I show you how...

Bang!

A muffled sound suddenly erupted.

In the slowed time, Ji Jue clearly saw the face, full of scoffing contorting, pupils dilating, blood vessels surfacing, almost popping out of the eyes.

A scream interminably stretched.

Then, he pulled back the foot he had planted in the other's groin.

Filled with puzzlement.

Come on, the guy charges at you and you're doing the Iron Plate Bridge splits, offering your crotch on a silver platter, what the hell are you thinking!

And I thought you were wearing the Golden Bell Shield and the Iron Cloth Shirt!

Before he could fall to the ground, a Mercury Arm sprung out from Ji Jue's back, grabbing his ankle, whirling him around like a mop, and flinging him into the air, sweeping through!

Dull thuds were constant.

In a sudden, the Ember Chosen One behind Ji Jue shrank back to avoid, then his right hand lit up with electricity, a knuckle-duster appeared and stabbed toward Ji Jue's lower back!

Glaring sparks and terrifying power bestowed upon it, colliding straight with the Mercury Armor.

An explosive roar!

Yet, not even a crack appeared on the crystal coating of the Mercury Armor's surface, the momentary turbulence dissipating quickly in the liquid, reforming once more.

And another auxiliary arm was already shooting out.

Toward his chin.

An uppercut!

Boom!

A figure was launched into the ceiling, leaving only twitching legs in shock.

"Kill him! Kill him for me!"

From within the cracked wall, the woman who had finally struggled free, clutching the split on her face, cried out in a muffled scream, her appearance growing more ferocious.

Rings on her fingers sparked with light.

In the void, the towering figure materialized, like a giant spirit, its massive hand slamming down!

Mercury coursed and shifted on Ji Jue's body, rising up to withstand.

A thunderous sound.

The ground broke, the building shook, and a sudden fierce strike created a crack in the pillar of Mercury!

"What the hell is that?"

Ji Jue swung a broken chair leg, picked up from the ground, whistling out like an arrow toward her face, but it was blocked by an invisible barrier, clattering to the ground.

Only Ji Jue's hand was left suspended in mid-air.

Seemingly futile.

The woman sneered, about to say something, only to hear the wall behind her explode.

An armored vehicle crashed through the wall and slammed into her without reservation, continuous breaking sounds indicating how many defenses were shattered in an instant.

Amidst screams, she was once more flung away.

Towards the hand Ji Jue had extended.

As if she was willingly thrusting her neck into Ji Jue's grasp.

"You're the one with the issues!"

That was the last thing she heard.

The spiritual impact unforgivingly burst forth, instantly piercing her body, disrupting the Matrix, shaking the blessings, inflicting destruction!
