Legend of the chosen ones: Beyond Destiny

Chapter 133: The Long Night Continues - Part Four (Thanks to the Chief Patron Hundred Eyes_4)

Under Ji Jue's guidance, he held the broken axe handle upside down, and the sharp edge pierced into his throat like a spear, nailing him to the ground.

Even though the bullets were reloaded, when Ji Jue didn't use the Curse Bombs, the lethality was truly limited, aside from the pure physical Destructive Power.

The wound that ran through him was closing up rapidly, and the bones at the site of his broken legs were actually growing back.

In just a few seconds, he had already started to recover...

Ji Jue watched the scene before him with a twitch in the corner of his eye, envious to the point of almost vomiting blood.

Is this a Chosen One of the Vortex System?

In just these few minutes alone, the damage that Ji Jue and the young Centaur had poured into him was enough to kill seven or eight Ruins, more than a dozen from the crowd, and hundreds and thousands of copies of himself, yet this guy still seemed to be hopping around lively, his health bar was simply longer than the screen...

To be this tough, death was ridiculously hard to come by!

He hesitated, ultimately choosing not to activate the Mutated Bullets; once contaminated by the mutation, there was no other use for them except making bullets, they couldn't even feed the young Centaur.

Although the young Centaur itself was a mutant creation and probably wouldn't care if it were forcefully fed, still... it's best to leave such things for others, not to keep for oneself.

Already a mutant, and stubbornly piling on mutations, one would fear that that's just asking for a quicker collapse.

But the Vortex System's Chosen One...

His entire body was a treasure.

His eyes slightly narrowed as he scrutinized carefully, unable to hide his admiration: Would this abundance of Life Force, if it could be fully extracted, surely elevate the awakening level of Dragon Blood by another notch?

"Truly a piece of fine jade."

In the brief silence, he sighed faintly, suddenly feeling the happiness that Lawrence once felt.

Even though he hadn't done anything, how come such good material had grown out of the ground right under his eyelids?

How strange.

How delightful.

It was truly, something to look forward to.

That look in his eyes, however, made the roaring Centaur pause for a moment, inexplicably chilled to the bone.

Especially upon sensing the pure and eerie Embers energy emanating from Ji Jue's body, he finally understood what kind of ending awaited him and began to tremble and curse.

"Damn it, you little bastard, screw your mother!"

The Centaur shrieked, struggling fiercely: "If you have the guts, just kill me already!"

The young Centaur stood on him, its mouth gaping open, the fluid mixed with oil and blood oozing out like saliva, barely able to hold back any longer.

Bang!

An Armor-Piercing Bullet shattered the Centaur's elbow joint, containing his struggle.

Then, one after another, rebars were pulled out by the young Centaur, nailing his limbs to the ground, securing them like a specimen.

"Don't fucking dream, little bastard."

Faced with Ji Jue's gradually approaching smile, the Centaur utterly despaired and cursed maniacally, his face alternating between crimson and ashen, his last ferocity surfacing: "Let's die together!!!"

From the shattered exhaust pipe burst forth the last of the crimson, like Fierce Flame.

The Matrix operated ceaselessly, prodding life, even the blessings shattered in this frenzied operation, no, rather, they were actively destroyed, and in exchange, spiritual energy emerged like a raging tide.

His body swelled rapidly, a bright light coursing through blood vessels and organs.

An irreversible fuse was ignited from within his soul, turning him into a horrifying bomb that could send a villa sky-high.

But before that, the last thing that rang in his ears was the voice of Ji Jue.

"Don't rush, buddy, take a seat first."

He lifted his hands, soothingly saying, "Let's talk—heart to heart."

Smack!

Blood gushed forth as if a sluice had been opened, spurting from the torn abdomen and staining the warm, peaceful smile before trickling down.

Ji Jue's fingers came together like blades, thrusting forth!

They penetrated his body.

Grasping the heart!

Atop his ten fingers, spiritual energy swirled, the complex Non-attack Matrix shining brightly.

Effortlessly, it froze the massive tide of spiritual energy, extinguishing the fuse that was about to detonate.

Afterward, a shrill scream erupted from the mouth of the Centaur.

In an instant, plunged into Purgatory!
