Harem Stealer: Reborn with the God-Tier Sharing System

Chapter 396: The Path of Cosmos

In normal case, five years were not enough to completely take over a world.

It was, after all, a difficult task for anyone who was not at World Dominator rank. Dominating a world meant making the Will of that world kneel in front of you in complete submission.

But that was easier said than done, as the Will had this instinctive feeling to rebel at any invasive force and that, no matter what.

And to protect themselves and their inhabitants, they were ready to use everything at their disposal, in the same way Laeh did, by choosing Noah to go against the champions of the factions.

But there were some cases where resistance was a futile attempt, and where the Will had no choice but to submit.

That was what happened with the wives of The Absolute Deity, the Silver Goddesses.

Each of them infiltrated the world assigned to them, a world that was tailored for each of them and where they would put into use their different characteristics.

Selene obtained an ice-type world, the livings being inside were some sort of frost golem. The world was constantly ravaged by ice storms day and night. Well, depending on how they divided their day cycle.

There was also Emmie, who found herself in a world of merchants. The inhabitants of that world were goblins, but a variant of them. Those goblins were all gold-skinned and even their teeth were made of gold.

In that world, the affinity to gold was one widespread and common to all. Their hierarchy was structured depending on how much gold one had in their possession.

In that world, Emmie's influence began to cover all beings, showing well why Noah made her the Elysiari of Gold.

Not only the two.

There was Red, who appeared in a world of berserkers where war was a custom, blood their ink to write stories, and peace an insult to their honor.

There was Alice, who found herself in a world of mermaids whose voice could enchant even the strongest man.

For Aphasia, a world where people used spirit contracts to fight and progress in their power. The moment she stepped into that world, the world itself evolved from mid rank to high rank. The Will was stupefied. But there was no reason, as Aphasia was, after all, the ruler of a majority of spirits. Despite being not being one.

Ester had no need to fight, the Shadow Realm was already hers, so she just needed to consolidate her power and step into World Dominator. For her, the wives refused to acknowledge her eligibility in their conquest.

Then Neko, a world where cats could grow to be everything and anything. Even dragons. Next was Lucie, one of crows.

Solaris's case was more subtle, for Noah sent her in one in the brink of destruction with a world war between two species. One called Rkutal, blue-skinned with the power of physical matters. The other Krutal, red-skinned with the power of thought. There, she chose Krutal and used her power over faith to make them win.

It was dreadful to see.

Elira found herself not in a world but in a sort of star. An incredibly rare soul-star that produced soul-like beings. These beings were eerily similar to the ones she had inside herself. There, for the first time in a while, she used the souls inside her body to infiltrate the population and take over.

Justicia found herself in a world where justice lacked, and people craved for one. She gave them that justice. But one with a steep price. And that price was paid by the Will of that world.

Anya was swimming in a star of destruction. And there, she did the only thing she was good at. She caused destruction until destruction itself began to obey.

Dominique and Lilith's situations were peculiar. Their worlds were the same but cut into two by some cosmic event in the past. So it was comical and entertaining to witness the mother-daughter duo working hard to surpass each other.

In the same way, there was Emily and Sophie finding themselves in elemental worlds of their own affinity.

Sari's chosen world was one of tranquility. Nothing bad was happening. So with her power of Unseen, she slowly brought all the leaders of that world under her control before forcing the Will to kneel.

Yuki was in a world where swords were the only weapon and the only path to power. She reincarnated herself into a 17-year-old and in five years took over the whole world with only a wooden sword she pick up on a road.

Appolonia appeared in complete and utter darkness. Quite weird, she thought, for she was the only one not in her own element. Yet she smiled. For with her…

"Let there be Light."

That world came to know light and came to worship her because of that.

Then came Zara, the weaver of hearts, who spawned in a world of humans. And what was easier than controlling the emotions of humans?

With no mercy left in her, she blackmailed the Will of the world to either accept her dominion or she would manipulate the humans and make them do what they were good at.

Destruction against themselves.

One could divine the answer of the Will.

It was not only them, as the maids also acted in their own way, in their own designated worlds.

Each one of them fought in their own way, choosing their own strategy.

And yet in some twist of fate, or maybe causality or even destiny…

They all finished after five years in Laeh's time.

And returned back home and all…

…at the same exact time.

Laeh and Earth had now the same time. So five years also passed inside it.

Nothing yet happened on Earth. Nothing the mundane could ever understand, that is.

Because deep in the underground of Earth, in a place only known to a chosen few, an experiment with the potential to change the whole life on Earth was unfolding.

Evadam could be seen admist a forest of transparent glass tubes, machines emitting beeping sounds, and all kinds of electronically controlled devices swirling around the white space nonstop.

He wore a white blouse, a pair of brown glasses framing his brown eyes. His eyes were fixed on a transparent tube behind the barrier, where there was a male human inside, eyes closed peacefully as if in sleep.

Evadam observed the slight trembling along the man's skin and the soft twitch of his index finger. He detached his eyes from the man himself and looked at the monitor at his right, which showed the heartbeat but also the complete genetics of the man.

It was a strange one to say the least.

This man had something special in him. On his DNA, a part of it could be seen glowing a soft silvery light. Evadam had studied that light, and found out it did nothing to the man except enhancing his adaptability by 5%.

He was not the only one.

Evadam had found the same silvery glow in multiple others, male and female, old and young, and even in some wild animals.

Some of them only had around 2–5% enhancement, others went as high as 50 or even 70%.

The highest he met for now was 73%.

And weirdly, all of them were from Paris.

Evadam suspected it to be the work of Noah, but having no proof and unwilling to waste his time on that, he didn't bother thinking more about it.

He was beyond thrilled, as with this effect that did nothing but simply made humans use more of their potential, he had a much wider range to study and ponder the evolutionary path for humans.

Doubtlessly, his intention for now was based on genetics. Evadam knew he could create a power system for all mankind with genetics as the base.

Thrilled, he continued his work. He took out a notebook, a pen and began to write:

"Project: Evolutionary Path for Humanity."

"Test subject Rabak n°0. Let's begin!"

Evadam was not the only one finding a lead in his creation of his power system. Noah also did. Though for him, it was not simply a lead…it was the completion of his power system.

Deep inside the White Castle, in a realm hidden between the folds of space of Laeh, Noah was hovering in the air, sitting cross-legged.

His eyes were closed, his hair glittering softly behind him, and a deep unfathomable aura was gouging out of his body in cascading waves. It was not an aura of power, nor one caused by a special technique.

No. That aura was simply one of enlightenment. And it blanketed the whole white realm.

He slowly inhaled, then exhaled rhythmically through his nose. A silver fog escaped from it, glowing as if stars were hidden inside it, hazing the world around him.

"I understand it now." Noah whispered, his voice hoarse and dry.

This was the first time he spoke in five years.

His enlightenment began to coalesce inside his mind, and slowly a straight and visible ladder began to emerge from it, leading him toward his power system.

His understanding crystallized more and more.

"Primordial energy of the universe. Worlds. Stars. Dungeons. Absorb. Gate. Warren." He continued to whisper, "How should I call it? Oh yes, Buntu."

"I need a main world. Laeh? Of course. I need to lose all of my power to restart. Okay, I will give it to Laeh."

"I see. I see. I understand."

"A swirling gate of cosmic energy called Buntu. The gate will operate with primordial energy, the sum of all types of energies existing in this universe."

"The gate, Buntu, will absorb worlds, stars, and fragments of dungeons. Not just any, as each of them must be a special type of world, for I will need the origin of that type to completely make it one with Buntu."

He paused, digesting the information. Then slowly…

"Each world, star, and dungeon absorbed becomes mine, and with that, their unlimited power. The only limit would be my imagination. A world of ice with the origin of ice would give me unlimited control over frost, none being my equal."

The white realm began to quiver.

"I need to separate it into stages. For now, I only have one, and that's the first stage. The first stage shall be called the First Warren: Gate."

The white realm began to fracture.

"A stage where I form my main world inside the Buntu. A world that will be the heart of Buntu."

And his main world would be Laeh, who would take all of his current power of Providence, only to give it back to him when the First Warren would be formed.

Space shards began to rain down on him as Noah concluded his enlightenment.

"This…"

He whispered,

"…is my Power System. The Path of Cosmos."

DIIIINNNGGGG!!!
