Primordial Chaos Dragon Tower: Harem System

Chapter 1132: Lady Enyo is Awake

Kent's gaze locked on the woman sleeping on the bed, and a wave of happiness washed over him. Despite having a stunned beauty in his arms, his focus was on the Elf lady sleeping.

"How is she?" Kent asked, and Princess Lovina smiled before giving him an answer.

"She should be waking up any moment now."

Kent nodded and looked at Adina. "If you will excuse me for just a moment,"

Adina nodded, knowing when to excuse herself. Lady Enyo seems like an important person to Kent, so she moved back.

Kent then moved toward the bed and sat down.

Meanwhile, Lyna and High Priestess Runa were stunned, looking at the majestic city below the mountain they were on.

Looking at the clouds, floating boats, butterflies, and many more, they were immediately captivated. They had seen many cities, but this was their first time seeing one mixed with a touch of something they hadn't seen before.

Gaia blended modern and futuristic designs in building both Gaiaville and Blood City. So, watching the two cities, they were stunned.

Adina walked toward them, also taken aback by the breathtaking view.

Princess Lovina, who saw this smile, decided to excuse herself from Kent and his mom and instead focus on the three ladies who were brought into the tower by Kent.

Since he had made the decision to bring the elven race into the tower, there was no harm in taking them in with him.

Meanwhile, Kent took the woman's hands and gave them a gentle squeeze. At the same time, she opened her eyes.

The first thing she saw was her son's eyes. Although they were purple now, she could tell those eyes belonged to her son. She had been dreaming about him for months, but only remembered when she saw Kent in person.

"Kent," she called out, reaching for his face with her other hand.

Kent bent his head down, allowing her to touch his face.

"Mom, it's me, your son," Kent said, tears forming in his eyes. Lady Enyo pulled him closer and gave him a hug, too, tears forming in her eyes as well.

Soon, the mother and son duo started shedding tears as they were finally reunited after years apart.

When Kent was 21, his parents got in a car accident and died. Their deaths shattered Kent very much. Of course, he missed them dearly, especially his mom, who had been his friend throughout his struggles.

When even his father gave up searching for ways to solve his erectile dysfunction problem, his mom kept on going until her last minutes.

She had worked extra hard, always making sure Kent had it all so that he would forget about his inconvenience and focus on other positive things.

In a way, she had been the main reason why Kent lived for as long as he did. He never remained the same after she died. So, Kent missed her, and now he couldn't get enough of her.

"Mom, I miss you so much."

"I miss you too, my little pumpkin... Mom misses you so much."

The four ladies watching this could only sigh in their hearts. Princess Lovina, who wanted to give them some privacy, waved her hand, and a floating boat stopped by the edge of the mountain.

"Let's go for a ride."

There was no way the ladies would reject such an offer, so they jumped onto the ship and left, leaving only Kent and his mom inside Mountain Garden.

After a while, the two managed to calm their emotions down.

Kent lifted his mom's body and sat her on the bed, then sat beside her. He was extremely happy that, at the moment, all he wanted was to keep hugging her. However, he understood that catching up by understanding what happened was the key.

"So, how are you here?" Kent asked.

In his eyes and mind, his mother died 14 years ago. So how then is she here?

Lady Enyo took a deep sigh and started revealing what happened.

"So it turned out that making a wish when at your death's door does move the hearts of the gods." She smiled weakly and added, "To you, it may be less than 20 years ago, considering you are just 21 years old now; however, to me, it has been 5,000 years already."

Kent raised his brow.

His mom died 14 years ago in an accident, so why has she been here for 5,000 years already? 'Did she time-travel?' Kent wondered.

Lady Enyo smiled, looking at the expression on his face.

"Well, if I am to count the life of my half soul, then I have been living here for the past 67,000 years."

This time, Kent's confusion became too much. "What do you mean by half soul?"

"So it turned out the me who gave birth to you on Earth was merely half of my soul. The other half had been living in a completely different world for thousands of years already."

"Wow... I didn't see that coming."

"Yeah, your father didn't see that big truck coming either," Lady Enyo joked, causing Kent to smirk.

"Now is not the time to make a joke about how you died, Mom. I already had to endure the pain, especially after that detective told me you and the old man had been arguing about me before the accident."

Lady Enyo's expression turned dull, recalling what caused the accident. "I am sorry, Kent. I shouldn't have joked about that."

"It's okay, Mom. Let's just focus on things that happened after your death."

'He is still being haunted by what happened to me.' Lady Enyo had lived for a long time, so she knew when someone was traumatized by something.

'He cannot have this; else his journey in this life will be difficult.' Obviously, they would have a big talk soon to clear this up.

This is a cultivation world where cultivation is a trial against nature. The stronger one grows, the freer they become of the Dao of the heavens.

That is how it had been designed.

Of course, things are much more complex than that, but to be free from the binds of the heavens, one has to go through many challenges, and often, most of these challenges deal with the heart.

The clearer one's heart is, the smoother the ride. A tainted heart cannot become free of the heavens since a tainted heart is not perfect enough to attain divine sentience.

If Kent has a darker stain on his heart, that will become a blockage in his path to ascension. He will develop an unknown heart demon, the kind that has a tendency to block his path to what was promised to be a good ascension.

It will weaken him and eventually destroy him.

So Lady Enyo, who saw her son still hasn't recovered from what he perceived as the cause of his parents' death, knew this was something she could not allow to continue eating at him.

'I must deal with this early to avoid future complications.'

She noted that down.

She had only one son, and just when she thought she had lost him forever, he came back to her. Obviously, she was going to ensure nothing happened to him—not when, in this life, he had the means to protect himself.

She failed to give him the life he wanted back on Earth, but this time, she would not fail.
