Two days ago, the Elves on Planet Mekyn received word from the Ice Demons that they would aid them in the joint attack from the Flame Humans and the warriors from Planet Vornix.

This news came as a shock yet a welcome surprise to them.

Also, Planet Mekyn itself is a Legacy High World, while Planet Vornix is a Supreme High World.

They have more Heavenly Ascension–stage warriors than the Elves.

Of course, if it were only the Flame Humans, then perhaps, despite being outnumbered, they would have managed to withstand their attacks.

However, the Dark Elves and incubi of Planet Vornix are bad news. They have the numbers and the warriors, making them very difficult to deal with.

Getting confirmation that the Ice Demons would help them, since they were one of the few people with whom they had a good relationship, made them feel confident.

Nothing, however, prepared them for what happened when the armies from Planet Vornix and the Flame Humans arrived.

It is already a well-known fact that demons are cunning, so one would expect them to be cowards, too. As expected, they were indeed cowards.

They came as expected, not as allies but as enemies. They joined forces with the enemy, and that was what the Elves never saw coming.

"Traitors," High Priestess Runa shouted as she fired a powerful arrow formed from lightning at the Ice Demons. The arrow exploded into thousands of smaller arrows that rained down on them.

Hundreds died, with hundreds more sustaining injuries. Some of them managed to dodge and defend against the arrow.

However, despite all this, the Ice Demon king had a calm smile on his face as he gazed at the hopeless struggle of the Elves who had been besieged from both sides.

"No need to struggle, Runa. You should have accepted my offer and become my woman. None of this would have happened to you and your people if you had chosen to say yes. Now, I will be forced to kill your poor long ears and then claim you for myself."

A pale-faced demon with white ice horns spoke, looking at the struggling priestess who wanted nothing more than to drive an arrow through the bastard's head.

The more she fought back against her enemies, the more they came.

Adina was seated at the back of the line playing her zither.

Mostly, when she played her zither, people felt their minds calm down, their brains lighten, as they entered a dreamlike state where, to them, nothing else mattered.

Many Elves had gained enlightenment through her music in the past months she had stayed with them.

However, today her music produced haunting sounds and wraiths, which kept devouring the souls of the incubi, Dark Elves, Flame Humans, and Ice Demons.

In essence, she had become a death composer whose music, instead of healing, was, rather, killing.

That was the kind of person she had to become in order to survive the evil of men aiming to take her freedom away. Her heart was now colder than ice, and so she could only continue to play her music.

As for Lady Enyo, she was being held back by three Heavenly Ascension–stage warriors. Two were from the Ice Demon and Flame Human races, while the last was an incubus.

However, one could tell she was proving her nature as a warrior by fighting them off while managing to kill a few randoms at the same time.

Lyna, however, was like a plague moving around the battlefield. Everywhere she passed, flames engulfed everything...

Perhaps thanks to her, the Elves were actually holding on to their dear lives...

Up in the clouds, inside a large ship, a rather handsome, pink-haired incubus sat in a majestic diamond throne, with two guards—a male and a female—standing behind him. They were both Peak Heavenly Ascension–stage warriors.

Standing in front of him were three Dark Elf Heavenly Ascension–stage warriors. One wielded a bow, while the two wielded swords.

"Kill that bitch with green hair and capture the blue- and pink-haired ones. The rest can be exterminated for all I care."

He spoke to the three warriors, who nodded and vanished from sight.

After they were gone, the lady guard spoke, "My king, we should leave soon. I was told the Midnight Shadows had sent an assassin after you. Knowing them, they will use this chaos to strike."

Supreme High King Bowie smirked, "Relax, Thana. I have you two protecting me. Plus, the whole of this ship is protected by a Tier 12 defense and offense array that can easily kill even a Peak Heavenly Ascension–stage cultivator. I couldn't be safer than I am right now."

The female guard nodded and smiled.

Back on the battlefield, the three warriors appeared and immediately targeted Lady Enyo. The one carrying the bow aimed at her and fired an arrow, landing a perfect shot on her shoulder.

The impact from the arrow sent her flying back.

At that very moment, when she was sent flying, the two swordsmen lunged at her. The archer also did, but was a little behind, knowing that if his paralytic arrow didn't work, he would have to land another one.

However, just when they thought victory was at their fingertips, a powerful beam came from the heavens and swallowed them.

The light even contained traces of lightning that burned and hurt like hell. The moment it swallowed them, they felt their stamina and health drain.

However, they were experienced warriors, so they sensed a powerful attack coming for them, causing them to use the momentum to escape the beam.

"What the hell?" the archer muttered, seeing he was burned in more than forty places. His body was virtually littered with burn marks.

The swordsmen didn't have it easy either. They were equally burned in many places.

However, the beam soon cleared, and that was when they saw their attacker...

"A mere Spirit Ascension–stage warrior." One of the swordsmen felt his anger flare and was about to lunge at Kent when the green-haired beauty, who was slowly being paralysed, spoke.

"KENT!"

Kent's focus was on the three warriors, so he only snapped back to the lady when he heard her speak. That voice he had heard many times. So when he heard it again, something snapped in him.

Turning his focus, he saw the face of a woman he had known for many years.

"MOM!"

The lady, with her eyes wide, let a smile appear on her face before she passed out.

Princess Lovina immediately jumped out of the tower and quickly cast a healing spell on her, taking the poison from her blood.

"She will be fine. It was a simple poison meant to paralyse her," Princess Lovina said in a reassuring tone. She was the poison expert, after all.

Hearing his mom, whom he thought he would never see again in this life or the next, is fine, Kent sighed. Kent took a deep breath and nodded.

"Take her to the Mountain Garden"

Princess Lovina nodded and teleported away with Lady Enyo.

He felt powerless for a moment. However, he recovered, and then his gaze turned to the three warriors.

Kent raised his hand, and 2,000 blood runes activated, causing him to exert so much pressure that it immediately sent the three crashing to their knees.

Kent's gaze turned cold as he took one step forward. The ground beneath his feet cracks. However, it wasn't the only thing that cracked.

CRACK

As if he meant it, the void cracked, and a wave of pressure descended on everyone.

"Exterminate them," Kent muttered coldly, causing the air to freeze.

Then a voice came from the void.

"Here I come."
