Primordial Chaos Dragon Tower: Harem System

Chapter 1043: Hell Road (9)

"This is a one-of-a-kind Hell Road Challenge," a demon said, watching the Damnation Hell Arena display on their viewing screens.

"To think a Hell Road challenger will request to challenge all Nine City Lords and even the Hell King, just what is he trying to prove?"

"I know, right. I think he is just being arrogant at this point."

"I think so too."

"Me too."

"I don't think he is being arrogant. I think he is trying to prove something, and he plans to use this duel to prove that."

"What is he trying to prove? We have seen what he can do. We know he is strong. However, making it look like the overlords of the various cities and even the Hell King are not a threat is just too much."

"I guess we will find out his true intention after the battle is over... that is, if he manages to win"

Everybody was watching the final battle between Kent and the Nine Hell Demons. Word had even reached the Underworld and the Undeadworld about the change in the usual Hell Road Challenge format.

This brought many people down to Hell to witness this momentous occasion.

Under normal circumstances, the Damnation Hell Arena would only be used for battles between demigods. However, because of how engaging and unexpected this one was, the Hell Monarch saw to it that it was used for this battle.

Now, millions of Hell demons were gathered in this skull-shaped battle arena, ready to watch the first-of-its-kind battle. They want to see the arrogant Kent killed in the most brutal way possible...

Inside a hallway, Kent stood with a smile playing on his face as he looked at three people. Nyx, Bilad, and Gaap stood staring at him.

"I really am sorry. I can't help you anymore. If I were to appear in such a high-profile battle, those people might be watching, and if they recognize me, they will come after you no matter where you run to."

Kent smiled and assured Gaap he understood. "Don't worry about it, buddy. You on the battlefield will be overkill."

Gaap smiled, feeling the confidence in Kent's tone.

At first, he thought he was only going to help Kent walk the Hell Road. However, now that the stakes had been raised, he knew things had to change.

After all, the reason he ran from Hell was because of a blunder he made when he killed the son of a very powerful Underworld King.

He came this close to dying... However, a mysterious figure saved him and sent him to the Pill Ascension Realm, where he spent millions of years until he met Kent.

So, even though he wasn't sure, he didn't want to appear in such a high-profile battle where he might put Kent's life in danger.

Kent turned to Nyx and Bilad. "Be sure to cheer for me..."

They nodded.

Suddenly, all four of them heard powerful shouts as nine figures walked into the arena, each ready to kill the bastard who dared arrogantly use the Hell Monarch to force them into what they were calling an unfair battle.

In their minds, Kent was as good as dead.

They were City Lords, beings who, if not for the laws of the Hell Road, were only a step away from reaching the demigod stage.

So, for a mere Core Formation brat to dare be arrogant before them, they surely wanted to teach him a painful lesson.

A few seconds after they appeared, a red bone throne materialized from thin air, bringing with it a commanding aura announcing the arrival of the Hell King.

"ALL HAIL THE HELL KING!"

"ALL HAIL FALLEN ANGEL BLIZ"

Screams and shouts filled the Arena as the Hell King appeared, seated calmly in his throne, a sword floating beside him.

One had to give it to him; he knew how to make an entrance.

He looked classic — something not even Kent could replicate.

Kent knew that, so he didn't even attempt to make any flashy entrance. He simply walked out of the hallway and stepped into the Arena, a smile painting his face.

"Oh my, this place is jam-packed," Kent said, noticing 12 different types of Hell demons. Naturally, there would have been 13, but he annihilated the insects, leaving only those he had defeated their city lords and those yet to be defeated.

"I am honor everyone. This is really a great honor to fight and show everyone their new Hell King is no weakling." Kent bowed slightly to the audience, causing all of them to sneer and throw insults at him.

However, Kent didn't mind and instead turned to his opponents, who were looking at him with hostile gazes.

"Just so we are all on the same page, know that this is not personal. I merely want to add Hell King to my titles. But unfortunately, you guys stand in my way, so I must move you."

They didn't say anything; instead, they turned to the Hell King, who raised his head and looked at Kent...

When their gaze met, a smirk formed at the corner of his lips. "Bug," he muttered.

Kent merely smiled and fired back, "Hell King on a countdown."

Naturally, this struck Hell King Bliz very painfully. However, before he could say anything, Kent retrieved a black fabric from his space ring...

"I would like to state that I, Kent Madson, your soon-to-be Hell King, am not a bully. I am not a bully, so I wouldn't be a bully just because the chance presented itself now." He looked at the nine City Lords and Hell King Bliz...

"They are just too weak, so I don't want to bully them." He raised the black piece of clothing...

"...To make this a fair battle, I will blindfold myself to give them a fair fight. Of course, as to whether they can take advantage of this and win, that will depend on how capable they are."

Kent tied the cloth over his eyes, blinding himself, an act that enraged not only the Hell demons but even the demons from the Underworld and the Undeadworld watching.

"Too arrogant."

"He must die."

"He deserves to die."

"I want him dead."

Their emotions were all over the place. They all wanted Kent dead, and from the look on Hell King Bliz's face, Kent had enraged him beyond what he could take.

He stood up, and his aura exploded. Then, grabbing his sword, he lunged at Kent with a fierce and powerful attack, one that caused the very space to crack.

"And here we go."

Kent's bloodline exploded, transforming him into a Demi-Dragon.

BOOM.

His fist collided with the sword, sending both of them back...

However, the next second, Hell King Bliz came at him again, and this time, he poured more strength into his attack.

A smile appeared on Kent's lips as he saw nine more attacks through his soul map coming from the City Lords. "Oh, this is going to be fun."

Contrary to what everyone was feeling, Kent's tactic of angering and calling on the eleven hell demons to help him understand the full extent of his power worked, and now he was thrust into a battle where either he walked out alive or the hell demons did.
