I Can Assimilate Everything

Chapter 533: Shock and Horror! II

His verdant eyes locked onto Achilles with intensity as this grand Foldless One continued!

"Those initial ten floors measure potential…raw capability for growth, inherent compatibility with Living Existential Authority of Life, and fundamental inclination toward the Civilization's principles."

He waved his hand, and Achilles perceived what his previous observation had registered only as ambient pressure surrounding the tower.

"The pressure you can sense even from here is…The Solidified Haki of Life."

HUUM!

Concentrated authority that pressed downward around the entire structure like invisible weight that would crush anyone attempting to ascend without sufficient compatibility.

"Each level higher hosts increasingly intense concentrations of the Haki of Life," Xar'vantheon explained.

"The first floor might feel like gentle pressure to one with moderate compatibility…something uncomfortable but manageable. The fifth floor would feel like bearing the weight of mountains upon your shoulders. The eighth floor..."

He paused, expression suggesting he was recalling specific memories.

"The eighth floor crushes those without exceptional potential like insects beneath boots. And the tenth floor? I have witnessed beings with respectable compatibility enter that level only to have their authorities shattered by pressure they couldn't withstand."

His gaze returned to Achilles.

"How quickly you clear each floor, how many of the ten levels you successfully ascend during your initial attempt…these factors combine to determine your measured potential within our system."

...!

Achilles absorbed this information calmly.

Xar'vantheon extended his arm toward the landscapes surrounding the Tower of Life, drawing attention to features Achilles had noted but not yet fully examined.

Radiant mountains rose in the distance, their surfaces covered with structures that suggested permanent habitation.

Floating islands drifted at various elevations around the tower's perimeter, each hosting what appeared to be training facilities or residential complexes.

And upon these mountains and islands…tens of thousands of lifeforms whose auras Achilles could now perceive with greater clarity.

All of them radiating Living Existential Authority of Life at varying intensities.

All of them watching the tower with expressions of reverence.

"All those you perceive surrounding this sacred structure have already passed through the tower," Xar'vantheon stated. "Their potential has been measured and ranked according to our standardized methodology."

He pointed toward the tower's exterior surface, and Achilles noticed for the first time that names were inscribed upon its walls…glowing inscriptions that shifted and rearranged themselves according to rankings that updated in real-time.

"Only the most grand one thousand names are displayed upon the tower's surface. Ranked according to their performance during initial evaluation, these represent the most promising candidates this Sanctuary has witnessed."

His verdant eyes blazed with anticipation as he turned back to Achilles.

"If you can rank among the top one thousand for floors one through three, demonstrating respectable potential through competent progression…you will have shown talent sufficient to become a future Prime Living Life."

He paused, allowing the information to settle before delivering higher possibilities.

"If you rank among the top one hundred on floor eight…you will have shown capability to become an Honored Living Life, perhaps even a Royal Living Life. Elevated status that permits study under direct guidance of an Honored or Royal Living Lives themselves, with access to authorities and teachings reserved for those we deem most worthy. You may even be tought…a Principle of Existence."

WAA!

The implications were substantial, but Xar'vantheon wasn't finished.

"Any ranking beyond that..." His expression shifted toward something that might have been amusement mixed with challenge.

"Any ranking beyond that is too grand to reasonably expect from initial evaluation. Barely any, and I mean this with absolute certainty, Young Living Life, barely anyone has reached the tenth floor on their first attempt through this tower."

...!

"If you reach the tenth floor during your initial evaluation and somehow rank among the top one hundred..." Xar'vantheon's laugh echoed across the domain with genuine mirth.

"Haha! I will kneel down and become your subordinate right after your descent. I will pledge my service to you without hesitation or reservation, because your potential would be that grand."

The offer was delivered with confidence.

"Those names you see inscribed in the top one hundred positions on the tenth floor? They are all renowned Honored Living Lives or Royal Living Lives who passed through this Sanctuary years ago, and that was after repeated tries."

"Their times of progression remain unmatched because they represent the absolute peak this evaluation system has ever measured."

His expression grew more serious.

"And those in the top ten positions for tenth floor completion? Those beings are all now renowned Dukes of Life…entities whose potential was so exceptional that they've risen to positions of existential nobility within Living Lives."

HUUM!

The scale of what Xar'vantheon was describing registered fully in Achilles's consciousness.

Xar'vantheon's tone softened slightly, shifting from informational delivery toward something approaching encouragement.

"You simply need to do your best, Achilles Adrastia. Go as far as your potential allows, push against the Haki of Life until you've demonstrated everything your existence is capable of manifesting. There is no shame in reaching the fifth floor or the seventh…all are respectable achievements that would establish you among worthy candidates."

He smiled.

"Simply show us what you're made of. Okay?"

...!

Achilles absorbed this comprehensive information as he nodded calmly.

He could feel the Tower's pressure even from this distance…the heavy authority that pressed against his existence with weight.

But alongside this pressure was...

Opportunity.

Concentrated Living Existential Authority of Life, intensifying with each floor he ascended.

His existence's hunger for this particular authority had already demonstrated itself…if he entered that tower, surrounded himself with increasingly dense concentrations of the very thing his being craved most desperately...

Oh!

The immensity he could assimilate!

"I understand, let's go!" His voice booned out.

The Foldless One nodded with satisfaction.

"Excellent! Your composure is refreshing, Young Living Life. Many candidates spend considerable time expressing anxiety or making bold proclamations before their first attempt…"

He extended his hand toward the tower.

"Let us go! The Tower of Life awaits, and I find myself genuinely curious to witness what rankings you might achieve."

HUUM!

Both figures began floating toward the massive structure, their forms crossing the distance with speed.

Around them, a few of the lifeforms inhabiting the surrounding mountains and floating islands turned their attention toward this approaching pair.

A Fresh candidate was apparently a noteworthy event, their evaluations watched by those who had already proven their own potential and now observed others attempting to match or exceed their achievements.

Achilles felt their few gazes…curious and evaluating.

Let them watch.

He had walked into situations where the odds seemed insurmountable before.

This tower, this evaluation, this measurement of potential...

It was just another challenge to be overcome through the same methodology that was…Assimilating fucking everything!

Since potential was measured here and would determine how much rewards and standing he would get, he would show off a little.

Becoming a genuine member of The Primordial Civilization of Life seemed rare.

Xar'vantheon and many others were Living Existences, but they weren't genuine members of this Civilization.

He simply had to exceed all their parameters and what they believed in order to become one!
