The speaker paused for a moment, ran a hand through his hair, and then broke the silence.

"Of course, science did not temper the Zurix's love for violence and fighting. They soon ventured across space in search of other planets to colonize or trade with, as the Lunix's military strength had become formidable and stood between them and their goals. So, they searched the universe for new planets from which to get what they desired. They managed to circumvent the Lunix empire, which was established in the center of the universe, and colonized many planets in the east, west, and south of the cosmos. They colonized a large part of the universe, brutally wiped out many civilizations, and plundered all their wealth and resources, reveling in their newfound riches.

However, their planets, which had been united under one empire in their days of ignorance, soon fractured into independent states, each with its own interests. This led to the rise of factions and destructive wars between them that lasted for years until they decided to make agreements not to fight among themselves and to divide the universe according to these treaties. The only thing left for them was to take over the Lunix empire, which, despite its departure from science, was still militarily strong and had even achieved some victories against them—amidst their own constant battles—managing to take one of their most important planets, 'Istanious.' The capture of this planet heralded the end of the old world and the beginning of the new one.

With this fall, and the fall of other planets with it, the wars among the Zurix decreased. They focused on this enemy that was once again threatening their world and plotted day and night to bring it down. It was only a matter of time before the Lunix empire gradually weakened again, as had happened before. For empires, like living beings, are born, grow, then age and die. When the Lunix empire began to weaken, the Zurix turned toward it and began to reclaim all that had been taken from them, and more. They started colonizing planets one after another under the pretext of wanting to spread science and civilization to these ignorant worlds. But they soon began to slaughter their inhabitants, scatter them, and change their identities and ideas to disconnect them from their source of strength and plunder their resources, as if taking revenge for all the years the Lunix had humiliated them.

The planets began to fall one by one under the banner of the Zurix planets that had divided the universe among themselves. But the core of the Lunix empire remained steadfast, though time was not on its side. The Lunix empire tried to implement reforms and exploit the Zurix's source of strength—science—but these reforms only made things worse, and the attempts failed. It was only a matter of time before the core fell, and with it, the dominion of the Lunix would end forever, especially after some planets declared independence from the Lunix empire, making them easy prey for the Zurix to swallow.

They have taken over most of the Lunix empire, and little remains before the core falls, the old world ends completely, and the new world begins with its new, unseen sciences and its dark cruelty that will make it one of the most oppressive eras for the entire universe, except for the Zurix. The Zurix do not wish to enlighten the world with their sciences and culture and bring it out of darkness into the light. All they want is plunder, theft, and control to become the strongest. Therefore, they will never allow anyone to share their power and glory. They will work to plunder and impoverish the entire universe to keep it under their hegemony and control. And science, despite its beauty, did not prevent them from escaping their barbaric nature. They exterminated millions and killed everyone who stood in their way without mercy or pity in what is known as the massacres of cosmic colonization.

As I speak to you, billions are suffering from this brutal military assault that leaves nothing in its path but ruins. That is why I have decided to change this."

The speaker emerged from the light, and it was revealed to be Gaia. Everyone gasped in surprise. Gaia continued, his enthusiasm growing:

"I possess a formidable weapon, the Crystal of Life. With it, I will free the universe from this darkness and rebuild the Lunix empire, and this time, it will never fall. Gladious deceived my brother to get the Crystal of Life from him, colonize our planet, and increase his power and ambitions. But I noticed this deception and stopped it. But alas, the result was that my people were scattered outside the universe, and the rest fled to the farthest reaches of the planet. My heart was somewhat at ease because I did not want to involve them in this cosmic conflict they knew nothing about. I wanted to bear this burden alone and let them live in a lesser evil than fighting the Zurix and trying to restore order to the universe, even if it meant they would hate me forever and see me as an oppressive, tyrannical aggressor. That doesn't matter to me. It is a small sacrifice for a greater goal that will benefit them in the future. If Gladious had obtained the Crystal of Life, he would have brought upon them a greater evil than I did. And in time, the occupation of this planet by the Zurix was an inevitable fate.

Therefore, I decided to start the seed of a new empire here. I have control over the great machines and have upgraded their systems, making them a military force the universe has never seen. And I have the Crystal of Life, one of the most powerful and magnificent weapons in the universe. With this, I ensured that I have a chance that not all my Lunix brothers across the universe have had. My people enjoy a peace that is contrary to the harsh and desolate nature of the new world. They are a people who know nothing of wars and conflicts. Keeping them away from the circle of conflict will keep them safe. Even if they lose their old way of life, I will restore it to them after I execute my plan. The Oracle gave us the Crystal of Life because she knew what would happen to the Lunix world and wanted us, the peaceful and pure people, to start the spark of a new empire. But Athenos and Gladious ruined everything. And worse than that was our ancestors hiding this information that the Oracle left about our true purpose in the universe."

Gaia rose from his throne and approached the camera, as everyone watching gasped in astonishment.

"But everything that happened led me to discover these secrets that were hidden from us. So, these calamities brought good after all... But I was surprised by the sudden colonization of my planet by humans and their amazing resistance to my machines for long periods, which delayed me from my goal of starting to reclaim all that the Lunix had lost. When I learned that Gladious, my brother Athenos, and their followers had destroyed Earth, brainwashed the humans, and led them here to fight the battle in their stead, it distressed me. Another civilization had been wiped out, with only a few remaining, and they were thrown at me to fight as mercenaries with no power or will of their own. It saddens me to have to finish them off and end the human race forever, whom I discovered are our ancient ancestors. But this is necessary if I cannot convince them to join me or leave my planet."

Gaia sat on his throne again, his face showing looks of sadness and sorrow, as if he were carrying mountains and rocks on his back that weighed him down until his heart wept. He said, his eyes welling with tears:

"If these recordings ever reach my people, whether I succeed in my mission or fail, you must know that I never intended to cause you all this pain. I did this to protect you from a greater and more terrible evil. Despite your great hatred for me, which saddens me and gnaws at my heart, I will bear the loneliness for a better future. Not just for you, but for the entire universe. I hope you will forgive me, my sons, Leonis and Giliamor, and my dear wife, who filled my life with a joy I no longer find and which I need now more than ever. I hope you will forgive me, my dear father and mother, and my esteemed siblings. I will carry this great duty alone, and when I succeed in my goal, perhaps it will atone for what I have done to you. And what I did was only for a bright future for you and for the entire universe... Leonis has joined me, although I have not yet told him the truth of what is happening, and this has made me very happy. I only hope he did not do this to seize an opportunity to eliminate me... The screen went black amidst everyone's astonishment. Leonis and Yassin cried for their father, who had sacrificed his life to protect everyone, choosing to be hated by all in order to create a better future for the universe. But he met his fate alone and hated, never reaching the goal he sought.
